So I was recently sent this #exfoliatingpeelgel from @mothermade_global through the @0.8l_usa try now campaign in exchange for my honest review. This gel is a mild yet effective exfoliating treatment infused with natural extracts and vitamins to bring life into lackluster, uneven, & congested skin. Moisture-rich natural cellulose delivers mild physical exfoliation, while green tea water and vitamin c make way for a clearer, brighter complexion. . This exfoliator does exactly as it sais it does. I've gained a huge love for this type of exfoliation lately. I love the fact I can quickly rub some gel on my face without scrubbing and bring up all dead skin on my face. Having to scrub with beaded exfoliators always leaves my face red and irritated. This method doesn't. It leaves my face so soft, smooth, glowing, and with an even texture & tone. Brings out all the yucky in my skin and leaves me with such a nice canvas🙌. . Have you tried a peel gel yet? If not what's holding you back?!

I tend to rely on chemical exfoliants for regular use to keep my skin clear and bright, but about once a week I need a physical exfoliation to help treat areas that get dead skin build-up. I love that the MOTHER MADE Exfoliating Aqua Peel Gel with Green Tea is both a physical and chemical exfoliant! Cellulose acts as a physical peel on the outer layer of skin to remove dead skin cells and impurities, while fruit and botanical extracts go deeper into the skin as a chemical exfoliant. This is a gommage style peel, which I prefer because I find them best to remove scaly patches. Gommage means “to erase” in French and refers to rubbing the product around the face like an eraser rubs away pencil. You apply the product and massage it around, and the product will roll up into small balls along with all of your dead skin. The natural cellulose that pills up is more environmentally conscious than the plastic beads used in some exfoliants, and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. The Aqua Peel Gel is a gel that is easy to dispense from the tube, easy to work around the face, and easy to wash off. The Aqua Peel Gel is meant to be used on clean, damp skin and used 1-3 times a week depending on sensitivity. Some similar peels specify to use on dry skin, so I'm happy to find one I can keep in the shower and use there. My skin absorbed moisturizers slightly better after use, and I didn't see any peeling or flaking in the couple days after use (which can happen with some chemical exfoliants). Ingredients inclue Papaya, Apple and Willow Bark extracts (for peeling / clarifying), Vitamin C (for brightening), Green Tea (which clarifies and soothes), and other ingredients for moisture retention. The one ingredient I really didn't like to see on the tube is Xylitol, which I avoid in skin care products (and foods) because it can be fatal to dogs. I do appreciate that there isn't an added fragrance in this gel, and there really is no discernable scent. The Exfoliating Aqua Peel Gel appears to sell for between $15 and $20 online. Really love this peel! It’s a “gommage” style peel which literally means eraser so you’ll see brighter skin. The milky gel works quickly as you start rubbing it in and rinses off cleanly. This does have vitamin C which is wonderful for brightening as well as willow bark extract which is great for clarifying. I would definitely recommend it. Happy with this!

I am so happy with this product... it works beautifully! I just started using the exfoliating Peel gels and I can't believe that I waited until now to try them. They are so easy to use and the outcome is insane. If your on the fence about using this type of exfoliate then I say try it you won't be disappointed! It’s a gentle but effective exfoliating treatment with natural extracts and vitamins to give life to dull, uneven and congested skin. The fruit cocktail and botanical extracts, such as papaya, apple and willow bark, works as a chemical scrub to penetrate deeper into the skin and improve the exfoliation process. Natural cellulose provides mild physical exfoliation, while green tea water and vitamin C give way to a clearer and brighter complexion. An essential tool for scrub lovers who can't tolerate conventional scrubs!. My opinion: that exfoliating gel was pleasantly surprised me, it’s easier to use and the good thing is that it isn’t abrasive as others I have tried. How do I use it? I apply a small amount onto my skin and I wait about 30 seconds and then massage, this is when the skin drips all the dead skin. Something surprising is that it leaves no residue after rinsing. It doesn't feel slippery at all. I also like the aroma, it isn’t overwhelming, it doesn’t irritate me and it hasn’t caused me outbreak. What do you think about girls? I like it a lot, I can’t to talk about whether it’s the most wonderful because I’m still trying it but then I will tell you when I have a few months with it.

I'm a big fan of facial peels because they just make you feel so refreshed, and they can work like magic on your skin.  About the Mother Made Aqua Peel Gel w/Green Tea This was a great peel gentle enough for any skin type, yet is an exfoliation  powerhouse. My skin looked and felt better, and was much smoother.  I love when I apply and begin working it, I see the lumps start to form. There really isn't a scent to it and it was very easy to wash off. Overall, I really liked yet another product by Mother Made. Product received through a collaboration with @mothermade_global and @0.8l_usa for an access fee.

The Mother Made Exfoliating Aqua Peeling Gel works pretty well. It has a pleasantly light green tea scent and started working immediately. After I use it, I washed off the debris and my skin was so soft! Would repurchase!

I've rarely used peel off masks but I wanted to try this one because I love their honey mask. I actually tested this product longer then some other products to understand how it works. It's a very minimalist product, for people who don't want to do too much.

I received this for $3.99 for review from 0.8 Liter (I highly recommend 0.8 Liter if you’re interested in Korean skincare). I liked this better than the last, similar product I tried. It dries more while gently exfoliating so it flakes off easier and doesn’t leave as much of a goopy mess on my face. There was no irritation, and I can use this two to three times a week to give my face that extra-clean feeling.

Hello Pancake🥞 and hello my first @mothermade_global product. And if you haven't guessed I like peeling gels. I need that gentle physical exfoliation in my life. And why this caught my eye was that unlike most gommage/peeling gels I've encountered which use a plastic polymer which forms the pills this one uses cellulose, a more environmentally friendly way to exfoliate. It also has a very tasty ingredient list, with a base of green tea water, they utilize white willow (BHA), papaya (papain), apple extract (mandelic acid), and ascorbyl glucoside (a water soluble vitamin C derivative). It's also fragrance free, Paraben free, Phenoxyethanol free, SLS free, artificial dye free, and cruelty free. I found it a gentle yet effective peeling gel, it is a bit more watery on the initial spread so I do like to let it sit on my face to dry a bit before I do my circular massage to exfoliate. It's a little pricier, 19usd on Amazon, but you may be able to snag it off @0.8l_usa like I did for 3.99. It's a white, thick liquid. The texture is actually a bit gritty. Like you can tell that there will be some sort of physical exfoliation going on, albeit mildly. 🦄 It's honestly the weirdest "scrub" I've ever used, lmao. I'm not sure what I was expecting from a scrub-sensitive scrub, but it certainly wasn't that. It must be the second ingredient cellulose that gives it its effect. Its scrubbing feels like pilling, which I'm sure just about everyone has experienced before when skincares or makeups start mixing and forming lumps and generally gunking up on your face. This is that, but in a good way! 🦄 This peel really gives a fresh glow to my skin! I like how bright and clear my skin looks the morning after. I'm..... STILL experiencing that terrible breakout I mentioned in my last review. It dissipated for a bit but has now returned with a vengeance. I don't want to blame this peel gel because the ingredients all sound great and I just don't use it often enough for it to be the sole irritant. I'll figure it out. Honestly, a life changing product! If you want your skin to feel as soft as a baby’s butt. This product is for you! . . After using a cleansing balm, I usually go in with a cleanser and then toner and moisturizer. Since I got my hands on this chemical peel exfoliator though, I decided to go in with it after my cleanser and wow! It turns out I still had some stubborn bits of foundation on my skin. It turned the peel into another color as it was taking off the remainder of the foundation on my skin. And here I thought I had already gotten rid of everything from my face. Holy crap am I shook! This product has become a staple in my skincare routine. I see myself using it in the coming winter because it doesn’t strip my skin completely dry. I’ve used it for 3 weeks now and will have to stock up once I’m done with it.

Overall, I think this product is just OK. I’ve used other gel peels/exfoliators that I think work better. This Exfoliating Aqua Peel Gel by MOTHER MADE ( @mothermade_global) is very gentle and light, that can be applied to all skin types, including sensitive skin. It has no harsh abrasions, that can be harmful for my skin. It contains Vitamin C, and Green Tea, removes dead skin, dullness, and brightens our complexion. Use this peel gel 1 - 3 times a week, to get the best results to have that brightening, sunshine glow. When I applied this on my face, it felt like soft baby lotion.
