This review is for Azulene Calm Creme by Korean skin care company, Preange. This thick, blue cream is good for dry and sensitive skin. The guaiazulene in the cream naturally gives it the violet or bluish tint. This is the same naturally occurring chemical that gives chamomile oil it's bluish color. The unscented cream has both brightening and anti-aging effects. It absorbs quickly, and does not leave a sticky residue. I use this as my last step in my skincare routine before I apply sunscreen in the morning, at night I sometimes add an oil on top of it for an extra moisturizing kick. One thing I do want to comment on, the packaging is a bit deceptive. The product only fills about half of the container. More than anything it seems a waste of plastic. My skin is brighter, softer, more hydrated and my fine lines less noticeable after using this product. Preange has a new fan. I will be purchasing this again. Another skincare review for you all! I’ve been testing out this Preange Azulene Calm Cream, which is targeted sensitive and dry skin. I’ve been using this as a night cream as it is truly a cream, and I like lighter/gel moisturizers for the day. The texture is that of a typical medium-weight cream- not super heavy and oily, but not lightweight like a gel. It is a nice spreadable texture and absorbs well, leaving the skin moisturized. Notable ingredients are Guaiazulene which meant to soothe and calm skin and Angelica root which is meant to hydrate and soothe as well. I was excited to try this because I felt the Guaiazulene in the Klairs Midnight  Blue Youth Activating Drop worked well on my skin. This cream did moisturize and did not break me out, but I didn’t find it to do anything extraordinary enough to beat my HG It’s Skin cream. Overall, this is an average cream with a decent price tag ($23) that I enjoyed using, but would probably not repurchase because I’ll be purchasing my HG night cream.

I am REALLY glad I was given the chance to try this Preange Azulene Calm Cream. Thank you to @0.8l and @Preange for the opportunity. This is an amazing moisturizing cream! It is a very effective skin protectant for weak skin by forming a dense layer full of NUTRIENTS. This cream is moisturizing even after absorbtion. The powerful ingredient Gualazulene is not only anti-aging, but also soothing and very calming. There is a balance of water and oils into the skin. I like the fact that this is a cream that is good for dry skin, sensitive skin and provides protection from external and environmental elements.

This is another product that ended up in my neighbor’s mail instead of mine. She just gave this to me, so so haven’t actually tried it yet. When I do, I’ll post a real review! I did rub a little on my arm and found that this had no scent at all.

I didn't think I was going to like this Preange Azulene Calm Cream at first because when I tested it on my hands they felt greasy and looked shiny but after a few minutes it dissipated and my hands felt better. The cream is a moisturizing soothing cream for dry and sensitive skin. It's a calming violet-colored ’Guaiazulene’ which is effective at soothing the skin and helps to comfortably calm skin sensitive to external conditions and dry weather. It contains the skin protective ingredient Angelica Complex. The texture of the cream is thin and water like and it soaks in fast. Its a moist and mild soothing cream for skin comfort and did make my hands snd chest feel much softer and smoother. A little leary about using it on my face though.

💜 @preange_official Azulene Calm Creme💜 • I almost didn’t get this because I already have a lot of cream products but the name, color, and packaging got me. True to the name, this cream has a whipped and lightweight texture. Along with being fragrance free. The soothing properties are supposed to come from Angelica root extract and Guaiazulene. • Even being so light, this cream leaves a heavy, occlusive-like on my face. And it also felt sticky after application. I don’t enjoy these effects at all. Especially in the still hot and humid weather. For me, it works much better as a body moisturizer. •

I received the PREANGE AZULENE CALM CREAM from @08l_usa for the price of $3.99 for my honest review. This is a moist and dense natural violet colored cream. It provides a moisturizering layer to prolong the absorption of rich nutrients to soothe dry and sensitive skin. This cream contains Guaiazulene which provides anti aging, soothing, and protection for sensitive skin. This calming cream absorbs into skin to balance water and oil. I really love this cream even though my skin isn’t dry. It absorbs quickly without that gross heavy, sticky feeling. You only need a little bit and would be perfect for dry or chapped Winter skin! This product retails for $23.00

A new review! This is the Azulene Calm Cream. I had such high hopes for this because my skin is dry and this was advertised as a soothing cream for dry and sensitive skin, and it contained sensitivity calming violet colored Guaiazulene. Stolen from Wiki lol, Guaiazulene is “a derivative of azulene, guaiazulene is a bicyclic sesquiterpene that is a constituent of some essential oils, mainly oil of guaiac and chamomile oil...” According to the description on Amazon, Guaiazulene is excellent at skin soothing and is designed to protect the skin from external stressors. This product is a mix between a cream and a gel to me – a watery type of final lotion. It does have a beautiful violet color, buy my friend who received the same one said that my cream was way more purple than hers, hmmmmm. When it comes to actually using the product, I have to say, I think this broke me out. I have included pictures, and even wearing makeup you can see on my forehead and cheek that I have broken out. It’s really disappointing because I have enjoyed the feel of this cream and I do think that my face feels more moisturized, but I am really struggling with these stubborn tiny breakouts all over my face. In the picture I included, I had not used the cream for about 3 days at this point, suspecting this was the cause of my issues, and things are still a mess. I think what I will do is wait until my skin completely clears, and maybe try it again. I want to know if it really was the effect of the product or maybe something else. Has no artificial colors and is great for calming skin that is sensitive to external conditions and dry weather. This soft ampoule type cream gently absorbs into the skin to balance skin, water, & oil. Also contains anti-aging benefits. . My Thoughts: First off, the packaging is gorgeous. I love the blue, how its designed, and the whole look they went with. The cream itself is also a gorgeous violet color as you can see and has a very light whipped soft creamy feel to it. There is no smell to it all which I wish there was at least a light soft scent, but I'm okay with that. This cream does feel nice going on the skin and definitely moisturizes like its suppose to. However, it did leave me with a slightly greasy feel to my face for awhile. It did eventually go away, but took some time. I think this would be perfect for winter, but I couldn't use in the summer because of this. I have normal/dry skin for anyone wanting that info. Overall, I feel this is a good moisturizer for cold winter days or even a summer day for sun burns when you need the calming effect. I don't feel I'd use this as a daily though. . .

This product comes in a simple white box with black and blue font and a very notable blue medical cross. The container is a translucent, medical-looking, plastic jar with a vivid blue metal lid. Sadly, the product does not fill to the shape that it is in, since there's another container that hangs in the other jar-- very deceptive, but we should know what 50ml looks like. This product get its lavender color from guaiazulene and has a smooth, creamy texture. I also couldn't detect any visible scent to this cream. This product might have a bit of a heavy feel to it, but when used at night, you wake up to a hydrated face in the morning. A little goes a long way, so keep that in mind when using it in the day time. This product has kept my face more calm and has soothed my face during these hot summer days. Azulene Calm Cream Review This moisturizing calm cream worked so well on my sensitive and acne prone skin. The cream helped calm my redness and kept my skin hydrated and plump. I would recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin and in need of a moisturizer. This cream worked well with my morning and night routine. I'd like to thank 0.8l & Preange, for making this possible. The packaging is bright & esthetically pleasing. When you open the jar, the naturally occurring color, a light violet color that happens naturally.Guaiazulene is a dark blue crystalline hydrocarbon and derivative of azulene, the blue colored constituent of chamomile oil. It also occurs naturally as a constituent of oil of guaiac, a rose scented oil often used in soap. The Articgenic patented material, protects skins moisture w the patented Arctigenin of Preange, which has studied skin for 30 years & helps keep skin healthy. Guaiazulene is a superb at soothing the skin & helps calm the skin from environmental stresses. Its dermatologist tested. using known soothing patented mixture. Direction's: Use at the end of your skincare routine. Can be applied morning & night. My thoughts: I love the color of this water cream. It's l, it's so pretty & no chemicals. It's a light cream, bt very moisturizing. It says it's a whitener & anti-aging, I havent noticed any whitening since using it, nor any direct minimizing of fine lines, bt it's still early. It has left my skin very hydrated & leaves a nice dewy effect on the skin. I like this cream a great deal & would recommend it to others. If you have very dry skin, you may want a bit heavier cream for the winter. This is an excellent choice for spring, summer & fall. They say this cream is good for all skin types.

REVIEW on Azulene Calm Cream by Preange  CLAIMS:  ⛑Soothes and protects skin ⛑Provides anti aging effect ⛑Calms sensitive skin  ⛑Brightens and moisturizes skin PACKAGING & APPEARANCE:  The packaging is cute, it comes in a white box with blue and grey print and the tub inside looks similar to the box, it has a blue lid that screws off.  The container this cream comes in appears to hold much more cream than what it actually does. I feel cheated! I find it completely dishonest when a company does this, it feels like they're trying to pull a fast one over us. If I would have paid full price for this, I would have been extremely upset. Please see the second picture, it's a good shot of how they packaged this to make it appear as though you're getting more.  I know it’s easy to say ‘just read the net weight on the box’, but let’s be honest, when you see a tube of lotion, you assume it’s going to be filled all the way.    This cream is thick, has a light violet shade, and does not have a scent.  There is not a spatula included with this, so you need to either use your fingers to remove the cream or use a spatula of your own.  There are instructions in Korean and Enlgish on the box, but only instructions in Korean on the tub. On the box it says the expiration date is 01/27/2020, which means it would only last 5 months since I just received it at the end of August, but the expiration date on the tub says 01/27/2022.  I am hoping that the year 2022 is the correct one,🤞. You can purchase a 50ml tub of this cream for $23.00. MY THOUGHTS:  I applied this cream to my face as my last step in my skin care routine. It's a bit heavy, so I apply this only in the evening as my skin absorbs it while I'm sleeping. Although this cream feels great on my skin, it does leave a tacky feeling. This cream is very moisturizing and hydrating.  When I wake up my face is plump and has a nice glow. Even though I like this cream, I will not purchase it again because of the way it is packaged to look like you're getting more cream than what you actually get.
