This is a gommage style physical exfoliant. As I’ve said before, if I’m going to use a physical exfoliator, it is going to be a gommage because I have rosacea & this type of physical exfoliator is less likely to damage skin, cause broken blood vessels, etc. This is a fairly light physical exfoliator which is great for sensitive skin. I applied this product, rubbed it until little balls formed & then let it sit on my skin for about 20-30 minutes to get the benefit of the PHA. I had a light peel the next day from the PHA. I was super excited! I liked that this product had little to no fragrance which is a plus in my book 📚. All around this is another great Benton product. This product is super neat, the application is really simple and satisfying that I look forward to using it whenever I’m going to. It leaves my face feeling cleaner, refreshed and soft. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all and a lot of products usually do, so I can say this was a really good peeling gel to me.

This is the second peeling gel review today! This one is from another #crueltyfree company that I love, Benton. Again, this product has both physical and chemical exfoliants. The physical exfoliant is also cellulose, which is the norm for peeling gels. As I've stated before, cellulose is the soft, white grain that one sees while rubbing the gel into the skin; that's not your whole face sloughing off into your hands. This gel performs similarly to the Mother Made product, but is perhaps a bit stronger with regards to the physical exfoliation. But not by much. In addition, it contains a PHA, instead of BHA/AHA, in the form of lactobionic acid. Polyhydroxy Acids have larger molecular structures, so they penetrate the skin less deeply than say, glycolic or lactic acids. PHAs are especially good for those with sensitive skin or do not have skin acclimated to AHAs yet. I'm also peeping a ceramide on the ingredient list, which is great. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if a face wash or peel is on the skin long enough for ceramides to have effects. There is a licorice/star anise scent to this gel. From a glance at the ingredients, it does not appear to be an added fragrance. I'm curious if the chrysanthemum extract is the scent I'm picking up. I don't care for it, and it's not faint, but it's not on my face too long, so it's not a huge bother even though it's a scent I dislike. This gel is a about the same value as the Mother Made product, $15+ (depends on the site) for 70ml (2.3 ounces). Actually, I think Mother Made would be a better value at one more ounce for another $4. Though this is a good peeling gel, I would not repurchase it at this price point. I loved the Benton PHA peeling gel! It didn’t dry my skin out, burn or cause my skin to feel “squeaky clean”. It had almost no smell and helped clear away debris left on my skin. I would definitely buy again.

I Received this for $3.99 for review from 0.8L. I wanted to try a less abrasive physical exfoliator so this one caught my eye. It’s not my favorite; the formula doesn’t dry like most products of this type and instead it tends to hoop up like a paste and stay on my face. Instead of scrubbing as well as it should it needs to be rinsed off with a bit of effort. It’s not a bad product, I’ve just used better in the last. I wouldn’t purchase this for the full price but I like it enough to continue using it as a backup.

I’ve got another peeling gel I’m trying, this time from Benton. This one also leaves my face soft and happy, but I think I might like my Swanicoco one more. This one is easy to apply and remove, but I think the other one is more fun.

Benton PHA Peeling Gel Benton PHA Peeling Gel allows 2-step peeling, physical exfoliation by naturally derived cellulose and chemical peeling with PHA (Lactobionic Acid). The peeling gel mildly exfoliate the skin leaving it smooth and moisturized thanks to Hyaluronic Acid added within ingredients. It stated to be non irritated to the skin, yet leaves the skin clean and glowing. Included Chrysanthemum Morifolium Flower Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramide NP soothe & hydrate exfoliated skin. I was super excited about that peeling gel as I am a fan of Benton Cosmetics and for most part have super good results on my skin with their skincare. My skin is dry right now and I have some part that are peeling and are slightly irritated so I was super cautious with using that product. With a big surprise it did not irritated my rough skin, cleared all dry, peeling parts leaving it glowy and soft. My tiny tip for super sensitive skin is to not rub it vigorously. Just leave it for 15 second on face and then with pressure of tiny Kittens paw massage it on skin. The cellulose balls will appear and gently exfoliate all particles from skin. Well, happy with my experience! I risked but it turned so well. Now my skin is glowing and cover with good amount of moisturizing serum and oclusive ointment. Benton PHA Peeling Gel is a light low irritant water peeling gel. It is a low stimulating peel more suitable for frequent exfoliation. This is good for skin tone improvement. Benton ~ PHA peeling gel Size:  2.3 oz Tube Price:  $15 USD   I regularly dermaplane my skin and was in search of a good peeling gel to remove any dead skin that I may have left behind.  I found Benton’s PHA Peeling Gel and decided to give it a go.    This peeling gel had been formulated using 3 core ultra-efficient skin-exfoliating ingredients: PHA, naturally-derived cellulose, and Chrysanthemum Morifolium flower extract. The cellulose, along with other ingredients, efficiently loosens and absorbs dead skin and impurities. This is both a chemical and a physical exfoliant. I have the pleasure of reviewing another amazing Benton product, the PHA Peeling Gel. This comes in a 70 ml sealed tube that retails for $15.30 on Walmart.com. This peeling gel had been formulated using 3 core ultra-efficient skin-exfoliating ingredients: PHA, naturally-derived cellulose, and Chrysanthemum Morifolium flower extract. The cellulose, along with other ingredients, efficiently loosen and absorb dead skin and impurities. This is both a chemical and a physical exfoliant. This amazing peel also contains powerhouse skincare ingredients like ceramides, sodium hyaluronate, allantoin, and triglycerides, among others. Directions state to clean and DRY face, then apply suitable amount to face spreading evenly, avoiding mouth and eyes. Gently massage with fingertips, and while doing so, you'll be able to feel the cellulose pick up the dead skin and absorb it! Rinse well. Use 2-3 times per week depending on tolerance. My face has NEVER looked cleaner, or smoother after cleansing than it did after using this peel!! I was truly shocked, but this was also my very first peel experience, lol. This is so mild that there's literally NO redness or irritation, only clean, clear, bright skin!! I can't recommend this product enough!!

now that I'm in cold recovery mode, exfoliating is just what I need to get rid of all these flakes. And this peeling gel is absolutely fabulous. Now, for the most part peelings gels are quite gentle, and when rank them from say strongest to weakest I would put this among the strong. It pills into slightly harder granules which aren't scratchy to say the least. It also isn't super duper drying which can sometimes happens with these gels. Now I normally prefer a stronger acid in these like glycolic, but if your skin is more sensitive then I feel like this would be a good solution if you've had more irritation from other gommage. Now I do follow up these gels with some vit C and of course more acids too keep the exfoliation going, but these are a far more elegant solution than simply rubbing the flakes off my face. Overall I say this is worth a try or at least a check out during a sale. Benton PHA peeling gel is very unique in family of masks. The gel comes out of the tube like a cream but , applies like a gel. It has exfoliating granules that peels away dry skin. The mask is supposed rub off which it did for the most part. I had to use a little warm water to remove the excess. After the whole process my skin felt very smooth and fresh. It also feels very soft. I was given Benton PHA peeling gel from . o8L to try in exchange for my honest opinion.
