When I saw this cute eye shadow quad I just couldn't wait for the campaign to open! I picked the shimmer option because I usually enjoy to keep my "daily" eye looks very simple with 1 or 2 colors and mainly just a touch of simmer all over the lid. I did play around with these colors a bit and overall I'll use it but its not a complete hit. The pale pink shade is more of a larger glitter shade without much color payoff, so more like a topper or colorless shine but beware of fall out. The mid tone pink is my favorite, it doesn't give a big amount of pigment payoff but is buildible and is very beautiful once layered. The gold shade is similar in payoff and being able to be built up like the mid tone pink but is a bit higher shine making it a gorgeous shade for the lid. The dark brown I would is my least favorite shade, its a nice color but can be patchy and inconsistent like it might do better applied with finger than brush but I'm still not sure why its not always the smoothest. I'll still reach for it but I don't think it'll be something I hit pan on.

Hi everyone! This is the Faux Pas Paris MOTD 4-Shadow Palette. It retails around $12.00. There are two versions: 01 Small Rain (matte) and Sparkling Rain (shimmer - which is the one I received). This palette contains 4 shades; pink glitter + pink gold + shimmer orange brown + shimmer brown colour combination. This eyeshadow claims that the butter coating factor provides great color payoff without smudging and is long lasting. I must say I love this product! The shadows are buttery smooth and are pigmented. The packaging is really cute and I love how easy and simple the component is. I love how the shades are everyday colors as well; if you love sparky colors that is ✨ I happen to live for them hehe 💕😇 Lastly, like they mentioned, the pay off is great and the shadows stay on. I chose the matte palette to test out. The colors are suitable for everyday wear. Matte shadows for me tend to be difficult to blend, but it wasn't too bad with these. Wear time is average as well, just be sure to use a good primer before applying.

The palette was lite however I have a little trick. I sprayed some rose water on my makeup brush and then swiped the eyeshadow and the pigment was a lot more noticeable. Scroll to the second picture it shows the colors first one wet with rise water second same color dry. I like this because you get the best of both worlds. If you want a hint of color or if you want more pigment. This retails from $11 to $13. It's a nice size to fit in your purse I was pleasantly surprised by this and definitely recommend. Faux Pas Paris MOTD Shadow Palette The 4-color eye shadow has true and vivid colors and fine and silky silty to create a magical three-dimensional charming eye makeup whether the use of monochrome or color mixing. It doesn’t come with any application which I find a bit inconvenience but it’s no problem using my fingers to blend out. All colors are matte and highly pigmented. Everything blends in so seamlessly and perfectly. I didn’t face the problem of failing shadows on my cheeks so I feel they adhere pretty well. No touch up required, they just can last all the way. 💄 I really like this MOTDIY 4-Shadow Eye Palette. It has a super cute design and the colors are everyday colors that you can where anywhere. They all have a little shimmer to them and the packaging is a nice touch. 💄 I love shimmer palettes but this also comes in a matte pallette too. The pigment is really nice which did surprise me and it doesn't smudge easy. The colors are light and blend well and they also go on smooth and don't cake up. 💄 The 4 colors are nice neutrals and this palette is great to have on hand and perfect for any occasion. The pallette is small and compact and easy to carry and the brand @fauxfasparis_cosmetics makes some other really cute beauty products.

This eye shadow quad was a pleasant surprise. I used this without primer, and it had great staying power. It was highly pigmented and the colors were buildable. There was no fallout, either. My only complaint is that the colors were a little too warm and yellow based for my complexion. It didn’t look bad, but cooler tones look so much better on me. But I’m not going to deduct stars for this. It was a really good product overall.

When I received this eyeshadow, I quickly noticed the cute packaging and palette it comes in, think cool/trendy. Upon application, it glides on smoothly and adheres to the eye area without clumping. I also like the fact that this product will last all day. There were 2 eyeshadow palettes I could choose from. I received No. 1 Mat Type ' Cozy Rain which are 4 soft nude pigmentations. The other palette is their No. 2 Shimmer Type ' Glittering Rain which are 4 rich pigmentations. Both palettes have beautiful eyeshadows and it was very hard for me to choose just 1 palette. I have included in the pictures for this review, me wearing 2 different color combinations. I really like this product and would repurchase. I also would highly recommend this product to others and rate this a #5/5. Popeye Paris MOTDIY 4-Shadow Shadow Palette No. 2 Shimmer Type. The shades are everyday shades that is very versatile. Unlike the usual Asian eye shadows, these shades has great pigmentations and they stay all day. I prefer matte eye shadows, but since I have enough of them, l’ve enjoy using these shimmery shades mixing with others. The MOTDIY 4-Shadow Shadow Palette comes in two styles, a matte one and a shimmer one, I received the shimmer palette called Glittering Rain. The palettes combine a daily use of 4 shades into a quad and are designed with a buttery texture that provides great color payoff without smudging. The eyeshadows come in a cute little quad that contains 6.5 grams (0.22 oz). Each shade contains a good amount of shimmer, the shadows do have a cool, wet feeling. The two lightest shades are pretty light and the pigment isn’t as strong, I did have to give those two shades a couple more swipes to get full pigment. The two darkest shades aren’t as opaque as I would’ve hoped. But all the shades are pretty. I found that it was kind of hard to apply the shades with brushes and even my fingers, they are really good if you prefer shades that aren’t heavily pigmented and you prefer something more muted. I did use them wet as well and it did help somewhat. (Note: I’m still not the best at eyeshadow, still experimenting lol, so forgive the messiness.) The end result was that there was some creasing of the shadows (which I mean is common for me since I have very hooded eyes) and some of the shadow had worn away. I thought the end result looked nice but it just wasn’t long-wearing, even with using a concealer and setting it first. Recommended use is to apply a proper amount on the eye area or add shading on the desired area with a brush. After using, upon using this one, I wonder how well the matte version performed. The colors took some building up and were pretty, they have a more muted, soft shimmer instead of something super glitzy. The shadows all have that cool wet feeling (but not the buttery feeling it advertised having) and so I assumed using them on the finger would work well, but it didn’t build up much more opacity than using a brush or using them wet on a brush. After wearing it for a few hours, the colors started to crease and eventually faded. Maybe a different primer or concealer could’ve helped the longevity but this was my experience. I think these are pretty and great for a muted look and I’m not honestly too surprised as many Korean shadows do have more muted appearances. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a muted look and likes muted shimmers. Or if you like to wear one all-over shade and you’re done. If you want something more pigmented or longer wearing, I’d steer clear of these. What I like: the colors are pretty and very everyday friendly. They have a wet, cooling feeling and I think as an all-over shade, they would be very nice and give a subtle glow to the eyes. The packaging is also super adorable. What I don’t like: these shadows aren’t very pigmented, they don’t swatch very well and they don’t apply very well and I kind of (though to be fair I’m not amazing at eyeshadow) ended up muddy looking and creasy. They also faded after a short amount of time. Rating: 4/10

Faux Pas Paris MOTD eye shadow palette is combination of 4 shades into 1 as a palette. The eyeshadows has a butter coating and the color payoff is good without smudging. I picked the #1 small rain palette which had more of matte colors. The eyeshadow is a little bit buttery and easily can apply with my fingertips. The eyeshadow goes on nice and I don't see fallout or smudging. It stays on without any mess. I do have to reapply after a couple of hours for touch up but it is minimal. I give this a 9/10 because it doesn't contain a mirror and I love mirrors on eyeshadow palette it makes it easier than getting out my pressed powder to fix it. The colors are pretty and look natural. I can see myself using these colors for everyday look.

I recently received this adorable 4 shadow eyeshadow palette to test for 0.8L and I think it is SO CUTE. there are four different colors that are quite warm and flattering for the eye. I think that this is a really nice fall-themed pallet. The colors look super vibrant in the pan but are quite sheer for a number of them, particularly the top left hand one, the light pink. That shade is almost non-existent but does have some nice glitter inside. My favorite is the lower left-hand side copper color. It is really flattering! I will say, I wish that this pallet came with at least one matte because it's a lot of glitter. I used my finger so I didn't have a lot of fallout, but I can imagine if you were to use a brush there would be a lot of glitter fallout. Additionally, I found that this eyeshadow did not really last for very long. To its benefit, I did not use an eyeshadow primer. I think this is a cute product and will continue to use it.

This eyeshadow palette has 4 colors in the palette. The colors are pink/plum and nice nuetral colors that work well for both daytime and evening makeup. The colors blend well and apply easily. These colors went perfectly with my brown eyes and light/medium complexion. I was a bit disappointed in the size of the palette but loved the colors and quality of this #fauxparisshadow eyeshadow palette.🍁 🍁I’m rating this product a solid 4.5 rating! This palette was a bit smaller than I prefer. That’s the only reason I’m not giving this a 5 star rating. It is quiet a convenient size for carrying in your purse or makeup bag though. I really liked the colors of the eyeshadows in the palette and look forward to using this palette throughout the fall and winter seasons. Do you use Korean Makeup? I haven't tried as much Korean Makeup as I have skincare... • The few things that I have tried I have loved. This adorable little set is from @fauxpasparis_cosmetics* • How adorable are these little umbrella lip products? One is a velvet tint with a more matte look and the other is a lip tint to add a pop of color. If you're worried about it drying out and showing every line then I would suggest putting on a lip balm. I like using my Klavuu lip sleeping mask first and then apply the colors. They are gorgeous and wear nicely. I wouldn't say they last the day, but they last longer than normal lipstick. The staying power is probably not as long for me because I do put a balm under and over it. • The cute little eyeshadow palette is a matte set with neutral colors that are great for every day wear. They have a nice pigment and blend nice. I didn't experience much fallout upon application either. One thing I have heard about Korean eyeshadows is that they aren't very pigmented, but these are perfect for an everyday look. They color last all day. I really love this cute little set. • I am obsessed with cushion foundations. I love the way they wear on my skin. I have been going foundation free for the past few weeks and have been loving it, but still like to wear it when I have the desire to. I mean look how beautiful this compact is!!! This is in shade 21 which I would not attempt to use at the moment. I want to try this in the winter when my face is lighter. When I first saw this MOTD Shadow Palette I fell in love with it’s cute and quirky packaging. The colors were exactly my type of shades so I had to buy it. All of the four shades are shimmery. The burgundy one contains bigger glitter pieces that don’t really transfer on the eyes. From the four shades the light brown performed the best but once swatched it showed more bronzy then brown. My second favorite is the light pink that makes beautiful inner eye corner highlight but I had to wet my brush to achieve the desired intensity. The burgundy and dark brown swatched nicely but the color doesn’t really show up that pigmented on eyes. I actually used my finger with the burgundy to intensify the color but it still pretty washed out. Overall this is a good palette for somebody who is just starting with makeup and doesn’t want anything too intense or for somebody who is looking for more natural, light makeup. While I like the look I created, it was very soft and basic, nothing overly too exciting. I’m glad I tried it but honestly l wouldn’t be inclined to purchase another eyeshadow palette from this range. .

It’s Teacher/Parent Conference Week! . . So my kids are off early this week and have Wednesday off! No clue what are plans will be on Wednesday but we’ll figure it out lol. . . Lately, because I’m obsessed with makeup even though I don’t show it too much on this page, I’ve been forcing myself to use more shadows. I mean.. I can’t just buy and not use them right? Although it does look stunning, it needs to get good use! I’m not very good at doing bright, vivid colors so I really stick to peachy tones and neutrals when creating a look for the day. My everyday look is very neutral as you can see in my highlights in my Instagram stories. Even when I buy more shadows, everything is leaned more towards neutral or peachy colors. . . If you don’t know already, I loveeeee a good shimmer. Glitters, shimmers, highlights, the works. Faux Pas Paris MOTD Eyeshadows are just that. The perfect combo for my everyday look. Although my swatches came out slightly sheer, the darker shadows were very pigmented. All 4 shades are very shimmery and they are just gorgeous! Easy to blend and a great mini palette for on the go. I really couldn’t find a thing about this eyeshadow palette on the internet so I will just have to stick to My Thoughts: I really like the colors in the Palette and they are very on trend colors and would look good with whatever you are wearing. They glide on smoothly, gave me no irritation and lasted a long time.
