I received the April Skin Carrot Blemish Serum for a trial fee of $3.99 in exchange for an honest review. This is my second product from this brand . This serum retails for 24$ on the April Skin website . As per the manufacturer, this serum is light weight , fragrance free , paraben free and features some great ingredients. Of course, the carrot, the star ingredient shines in various forms; oil , water and protein within the product. It also contains Niacinamide which aids in brightening. Using this serum will aid with Brightening, Banishing blemishes, whiteheads and assist will skin cell turnover . It will also soothe and hydrate the skin as well as deliver a smoothness to the face . With all that being said let’s jump to the product. The serum resembles that of a light moisturizer. I applied it to my skin and it readily absorbed it. It doesn’t have a greasy feel it to and being that is fragrance free is definitely a plus in my book . I was very happy how my face looked afterwards.

Honestly, I did was kind of skeptical in the beginning whether it will do as it said it would do. But after 2 weeks, I have noticed incredible results. I got a few blemishes on my chin and within a few days I saw them disappearing and by the end of the week, mostly gone. It's very moisturizing and has an earthy, herbal smell, which is really nice for me. I love the packaging as well, a nice carrot colored box.Its great also for previous acne scarring and what I loved most my skin felt hydrated and smooth. It’s Magic in a bottle!!! Leaves behind a nice glow after usage... This has been my #1 favorite brand that actually works on the skin.

Can I just start by saying how big of a fan I am of the scent? I actually really love it. It's very natural, herbal, and heavily resembles essential oils / incense which I enjoy. The scent doesn't linger too long so it shouldn't bother you even if you are sensitive to scents like I am. The packaging is also really beautiful and quite eye catching! Bright orange, frosted hard plastic bottle with a pump applicator. I'm so glad this comes with a pump instead of a dropper, as I definitely prefer pumps more-- I just find them easier and more practical to use(as well as more hygenic than droppers). Honestly I was expecting the serum itself to be orange in color but it's actually milky white! The consistency of the serum isn't too thick nor watery, it's creamy in texture while still maintaining a light consistency. It absorbs very easily and fairly quick so it doesn't sit on the skin. It doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky either like some serums I've used. I do have various dark spots on my face from acne scarring and inflammation, and I have seen my smaller dark spots begin to fade since I started using this serum. My once dry, dull skin is now actually coming back to life and is hydrated, glowing, and blemish free! A pump of carrot serum a day keeps problematic skin away. 🥕Final verdict? I want to of course give a special thank you to 0.8L and Aprilskin once again for allowing me to review this product at a reduced price of $3.99. I am loving all of Aprilskin's products I have tried. I really enjoy how they incorporate plants and veggies into their skincare. The product I'm reviewing is Aprilskin's Carrot Blemish Serum. It is a non-comedogenic serum that uses carrots to rid skin of blemishes and whiteheads. This serum is so powerful it not only targets surface acne, (papules & pustules) it rids the bumps below the surface (comedones) which are whiteheads. This product can stop your acne cycle and actually speed up skin renewal. It heals blemishes, whiteheads, calms redness down, diminishes acne scars, and decreases the amount of hyperpigmentation. The serum is rich in vitamin A, beta-carrotene, and niacinamide. It is recommended to use both morning and evening after your skin routine. It makes skin smooth, dewy, soft, and glow. The only negative I experienced with this product was the smell. It was an almost earthy smell. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed using this carrot blemish serum! This is my third April skin product and really like this brand. The serum is light and absorbs very well into the skin. It has helped some of my recent breakouts and I love that it doesn’t feel sticky after application. It has a very natural scent to it as well. Great product🧡🥕

So I was pretty excited to grab this product when it came up on 08L. This is one of the few "acne" products that didn't have a chemical exfoliant in it. Meaning it wouldn't interfere with my other products or become too much on my skin. This scent of this serum reminds me of incense but its not insane or lingers however it is noticible. Its nothing crazy or different with texture, its a bit gel like or a thin cream but will not drip down your hand. I have noticed my skin clearing and smoothing when I buckle down and actually consistently do skincare. I do plan on repurchasing this one because I feel like the rush of vitamins have improved my skin.

Light, refreshing carrot blemish serum works to nourish and refresh skin while clearing and brightening the complexion. This serum is a mix between a liquid serum and a cream. It it very light and goes on smoothly; absorbing quickly. I really love this serum as most blemish products work as a spot treatment once a blemish has appeared in order to get rid of it, or are very harsh treatments meant for people who struggle with acne on an ongoing basis. I don’t have those issues aside from the occasional blemish now and again. This product works to diminish the chance that a blemish will appear, making your face less hospitable to the conditions that might make acne feel comfortable. The product also works wonderfully to brighten skin giving it an all over youthful glow.

Carrots helping with acne prone skin? Never heard of it until I came across this product. The serum contains 3 carrot-derived ingredients (water, seed oil, and proteins) to help banish breakouts. It also has Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, and Tea Tree oil. My overall thoughts on this are still in progress, but I do like that it's not heavy and helps keep my face hydrated during the day.

This is a light serum that absorbs quickly into the skin. I couldn’t discern any real scent to this product. Only a small amount is needed, and since the bottle is pretty large for a serum, it should last for a long time. The product didn’t irritate my skin at all. I didn’t feel any real moisturizing from this serum since it’s primary aim is to work gently on skin with blemishes, so it contains ingredients that are very gentle, light, and unlikely to cause breakouts or aggravate existing blemishes. If I had a serious problem with acne, I would make this serum part of my regular skin care routine. Since acne isn’t a big problem for me, I would likely only use this serum during summer months when my skin is at its oiliest and more prone to occasional breakouts.

Aprilskin Carrot Blemish Serum Blemish Clear + Brightening You might think if the product is prepared for clearing blemishes it will certainly dry your skin. This one actually helped balanced and moisturized my skin more than clear it, thanks to Niacinamide and hyaluronic acid that it contains. Carrot Water (all from Jeju Island!), Carrot Seed Oil (10,000 ppm oil rich in Beta_Carotene and Vit. A, for banish free radicals, anti-inflammatory and moisture) and Carrot Proteins (moisture) will all make it very powerful skin booster. Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid adds on top such perfect moisturization and brightening effect for the skin. I use it often, on my chin, forehead and around nose area, and my blemishes are tamed to non existing plus my skin looks very hydrated and smooth without compromises and irritation. Love it. For me amazing alternatives to more harsh acids (probably those work more effective on very active acne rather just few blemishes and whiteheads) and I think it is more suitable for more mature skin. Very worthy of trying. Skin looks radiant and glowing without that much trying and it works good with dry, flaky skin as well. This product surprised me. I thought the cream was going to be orange but it wasn’t! When I use it, it isn’t sticky. The smell isn’t bad but it isn’t such a good smell either. I’ve used this multiple times already and it isn’t greasy and doesn’t leave my face oily. This helps prevent blemishes. I would buy this product again
