🥕 Another winner from @aprilskin_global that I fell in love with. It’s the Real Carrot Blemish serum. • 🥕Like it’s namesake, this yummy looking serum has chock full of carrot seed oil and carrot root water, among other wonderful and soothing ingredients. • 🥕 This is lightweight and has a mild herbal/citrus scent which I love. It absorbs fast without leaving my skin tacky or greasy. It’s a delight to apply and it’s one out of the multiple serums I layered for the winter time. I’ve seen melanin decreased on my hyperpigmentation spots so it must have helped in that regard.

[Aprilskin] Carrot Blemish Serum Aprilskin's Real Carrot Serum is meant to help clear blemishes and brighten the skin. It's meant for blemishes, whiteheads, redness, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation. It helps controls sebum, soothes skin, and calms inflammation.  Some notable ingredients are 3 different carrot derived ingredients (carrot water, carrot seed oil, and carrot proteins), niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and plant oils (gotu kola, chameleon leaf, tea tree and eucalyptus oil).  The product comes in just about the cutest little rectangle orange box with a carrot on it. The pump bottle inside is frosted orange in color. The product itself, has a light-weight formula, it's milky white in color and has a creamy texture that absorbs quickly. This smells like their Calendula line with a hint of carrots.  I've only started using this for a short amount of time and it's already a star product. So far, Aprilskin have not disappoint. My face has started to clear and become more radiant. It's smoothing out and some acne scars has started to fade, the texture overall is giving me hope for a promising product. [REVIEW] Carrot Blemish Serum by April Skin . . [TEXTURE +APPLICATION] This serum feels very smooth and leaves the skin feeling amazingly soft. It feels lightweight like a gel, but seems to also be slightly creamy and has some oil content. It leaves a slightly tacky feeling on the skin but as long as you apply other products on top of it, that feeling disappears :) . . [REVIEW] I had a short purging period when I first began using this product but it was not too bad, just a couple pimples. After they left, I noticed that I was breaking out less. I usually get a couple pimples a week but with this product it was just one every two weeks! . . Also, there was about a week period where my skin felt absolutely amazing. I had no active pimples and just some scars from before. My skin was super soft and felt well hydrated throughout the whole day and I felt like I wasn’t as oily as usual, which I attribute to the niacinamide. I still break out occasionally but I noticed that it is most likely because of my diet, and if I ate better I probably wouldn’t have broken out in those areas 😅 . . I think some of my smaller scars have faded, but the larger, more aggravated ones have not changed. This didn’t do much for my redness either, I am still red around the cheeks. If you’re looking for something to calm down your skin, I think other products like Krave Beauty’s Great Barrier Relief would work much better. . . There are only two downsides to this product: 1. It worsened my fungal acne. Usually, my fungal acne is easily aggravated by products so I have to be careful. Once I noticed that this product was affecting them, I stopped applying it to my forehead area (where I have the most fungal acne) and they disappeared in a day or two! 2. Residue. On my oily skin, products that don’t completely absorb mess with the products that I lay over them. They’ll cause all the others to pill up or just smudge around all day which is horrible for makeup and spf 😭 Sadly, this product did that so I had to apply significantly less in the daytime. Once I began to use less and made sure to pat the product in for a long time, it got somewhat better. . . [OVERALL RATING: 3.5/5] While I like this product as it has helped with my acne, serum production, and some scars, I think I could find another product that does the same without worsening fungal acne and ruining the application of other products. I’ll finish this serum first but I’m looking forward to trying out newer, hopefully better ones for my acne 😭 I would recommend this to dry/combination skin types who suffer from mild acne. April Skin quite generously gifted me three of their products and I’m really enjoying them all. . Calendula has antiseptic properties, which makes it great for treating wounds and preventing acne. It also conditions the skin, has antioxidants in it, stimulates collagen production and helps prevent dry skin. These products have such a light fresh scent that I love. . The Real Calendula Peel Off mask is very appealing, pardon the pun because I love these kinds of masks. It has some great ingredients and is pain free when you pull it off. Most don’t bother me when I peel them off, but I do remember one that hurt a lot. My skin looks. Leaf and feels smooth after using this. . The Real Calendula Peeling Pads are great and such any easy way to quickly exfoliate and smooth your skin. You get a nice big jar of them and there are actual pieces of the plants in the jar. Love this! . Last up and my absolute favorite is the April Skin Carrot Serum. Okay, so it’s no secret that I love serums and this one really has become a favorite. It’s for blemish clearing and brightening. I’ve been using it twice a day every day since I got it and my skin has been so clear. I received Aprilskin Carrot Blemish Serum for a discounted price for my honest review. I absolutely love this product! It reduces my breakouts a lot and clears up any breakouts I have. I have also noticed that when I don't mess with my face and continue to use this product I don't get any new pimples. It is truly amazing how well the Carrot Blemish Serum works. I love every Aprilskin product I have gotten. Also this serum smells a amazing but the scent fades away very quickly. I was excited to get this product, because I do have some adult acne. I haven't seen much results yet, but the serum does leave my skin feeling nice and hydrated, so I'm happy to continue using the whole bottle to see if there are any changes.

The Aprilskin Real Carrot Serum is a nutrient rich serum intended to speed up the skin renewal cycle and achieve clear skin by helping clear blemishes, whiteheads, redness, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation. It contains three different nutrient-rich forms of carrot: carrot oil, carrot water extract, and carrot protein. Carrots can protect against UV damage, are full of antioxidants and also have beta-carotene and vitamin A. I find myself wanting to use this mainly in the morning, when I use a Vitamin C product, a turmeric milk for glow, and sometimes some tanning drops in with my SPF moisturizer. I'm finding this is a great addition to that combination and helps boost the healthy glow even more. Eating a lot of beta-carotene-rich foods can turn your skin a bit orange, so maybe the carrots help boost a tanned look! I'm also finding that the Carrot Serum helps keep my skin calm against the strong Vitamin C I use. I haven't had a chance to use this long enough to gauge how it does controlling hormonal breakouts from month to month, but am hopeful it will help with that, too. I haven't seen any changes in the few pigment spots I have, but my skin does feel smooth and even a bit softer after a couple weeks of use. The box warns to store this away from direct sunlight. I'm not sure why the product isn't bottled in tinted glass to protect it from light, so make sure to keep it in a cabinet! The price for this serum appears to range from $20 to $30 online. I received Aprilskin Carrot Blemish Serum at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I expected a bright orange serum, but instead this was a creamy white lotion! I'm so relieved this isn't orange serum, because I was concerned about it turning my skin like Trump's. I transferred the English instructions and ingredients list sticker from the box to the product's bottle, because I don't retain the boxes to my beauty products. This product has a beautiful fragrance that fades away after a couple minutes. I love this serum! It makes my skin feel invigorated and comforted. It's a unique sensation that I find very pleasant. My sensitive skin always flares up with red splotches when I use serums, but this one didn't irritate my skin as much as most do. Recommended!

blemish and brightening..two great combinations. has a kinda spicy smell like pepper almost but no burning on skin.very smooth very cooling. I do have a pimple on my face and since I've been using it has shrunk alot.. almost gone actually. with continued use I'm hoping it helps stop breakouts and brightens my skin more. so far I'm really liking. comes in a glass bottle with a pump very high end feeling. makes skin smooth and soft. definitely a plus and a new add to my skincare routine.

I was really excited when I was chosen to try out this serum. The first moment I laid eyes on it I wanted to try it out. It’s not everyday you are able to come across a carrot blemish serum. It is quite a rare serum in my opinion. So points to April skin for coming up with such a unique concept. The packaging is really fun and eye catching. Orange is such a vibrant color and makes the product standout of the long lines of serums on the market. I like the fact that it comes with a pump versus a dropper. I personally feel like it is more hygienic. The serum itself has a milky look to it and a light creamy texture. It does have a slight scent but barely noticeable. It is a refreshing aroma and reminds me of tea tree. The serum absorbed into my skin very nicely and once it dried down my skin felt smooth and soft. No tacky feeling to my skin what so ever. My skin felt hydrated and energized. My skin looked invigorated and revitalized. My complexion had a brightness to it that fresh morning glow. Now it does state that this is a blemish serum I can’t say for sure if it actually helps with acne or not considering I only get breakouts here or there. Specifically around that time of the month if you catch my drift. But as far as I am concerned this is a spectacular serum and definitely does more than just help with acne. I have seen the improvement of my skin after using this serum and I can say hands down I am a fan. This is a winner for sure.

Although I do still get them from time to time and the serum doesn’t stop it completely. It still helps heal the spots so they don’t form into whiteheads and they just disappear! Although this doesn’t happen overnight and it helps with constant use, I’m glad it has helped with my acne issues. . . The serum is very lightweight and doesn’t leave a greasy or oily feeling afterwards. Overall I really enjoyed using this serum and would definitely continue to use it moving forward. . . I think this is the perfect product for people with oily skin. It's lightweight and doesn't clog up your pores. I like that it stills leaves your face moisturized without it being heavy or thick. Especially on days when you want light coverage or to go makeup free, I recommend you include this product in your skin care routine. You just put it on under a serum and go. It might go into my gym bag.

[Experience] I tend to avoid products that contain essential oils like lavender and bergamot due to my sensitive skin. Some people's skin tolerate lavender and bergamot oil just fine, but my skin does not. Even if a product achieves results, I will not use it If it contains essential oils like I said above. Although, I have a responsibility to review the product to the best of my ability. This serum has a white-creamy-watery consistency that absorbs in the skin easily. It has a scent to it, but dissipates quickly when patted into the skin. I find that it brightened up ny skin in about 1 week of constant use and made my skin felt soft and smooth (probably due to niacinamide, and the vitamin A in carrots). Although, this made my skin red and irritated so I had to stop using it.

It caused me to breakout after 15 mins of application. I'm unsure if o need to appy something else too? A concealer maybe? I weirdly was fond of yhe smell.
