I have honestly loved every product from this particular company. I have quite a few masks so I wasn't looking to try anymore, but I like this line of products so much, I decided to go ahead and try the mask. They also send you a jelly brush to apply the mask with. The mask itself smells so good.

This came with a spatula and the actual jelly product I read the directions which read to wash my face 1st and then spread the product out gently all over my dry face it says to avoid applying around the eyes and the mouth it then says to leave for 30 minutes and when completely dry pill it off gently starting from the edge. I did all base however at 1st I did not cleanse my face and I noticed that before the 30 minutes was up my mask started to peel before the 30 minutes and my face was very oily after. I think it might have been oily before putting the mask on, so I re-did the whole process and I followed the directions by cleansing my face 1st and then after drying it I applied the peel off to my face using the spatula . I then left it on for 30 minutes. In the meantime I felt my face starting to tighten up, it sort of felt weird but I've had this feeling before, its sort of the same feeling I get when I use my other clay masks, once they are dry it feels tight before I rinse. That is what this mask reminded me of after about 20 minutes of having it on. I peeled it from the corner and I must say that I love how smooth my skin was. Theres also a light citrus smell. Very refreshing.

This mask is interesting. I wouldn’t say I hate it but I don’t love it as well. If you’re looking for a peel off mask that’s going to rip every skin cell off your face then this isn’t for you. This mask is super gentle and dries fairly quick compared to those thick black gooey masks. I find applying it in thins layers actually works best as the thicker ones tend to take a longer time to dry while the edges have already shriveled up!! The mask doesn’t have a strong scent and it has little tiny flower petals which are really cute!! The brush is super helpful and makes application a breeze and I use it for my other masks as well. It’s easy to clean as well, I just let the peel off mask substance dry on the brush and peel it off afterwards! Now experience wise, I do like this mask because it has a cooling effect and that’s really nice. I tend to have sensitive skin so I do get a little bit of redness when I peel it off but not anything too bad. The reason I’m not sure if I would truly recommend this mask is because I’m not quite sure what it does. It doesn’t tighten your face and it doesn’t really moisturize it as well (I mean there’s a residue that does help with moisture, but you still have to pair it with your nightly products). It also doesn’t remove any blackheads or any of that gunk. I’d say if you’re looking for a cute and soothing peel off mask that isn’t too abrasive this is very nice!!

So I’m not usually a fan of peel of masks honestly I feel like there a pain in the butt to get off and I do I feel like they don’t do much for my skin honestly. But I wanted to give this mask in particular a try because I read some good reviews about it. I personally find that peel off masks are messy and they always end up getting in my hair even when I’m applying them carefully. They are also really painful to peel off and it just makes the experience so uncomfortable and overall not exciting. So I was surprised when this mask turned out to be a lot different than the usual experience I’ve have had in the past. Staring off the packaging is really cute I love the overall yellow color of the bottle. It really helps the product stand out and appeal to the human eye. It also came with a mask applicator which I absolutely love and have been using it every single day since I got it. The plastic handle seems a little on the flimsy side but the silicone applicator itself is designed so perfect it spreads my masks out so evenly and prevents me from overusing my masks. So a round of applause for the applicator 👏🏿👏🏿. The consistency of the mask is a thick gel that has flower particles in it. Which I believe are for presentation because I personally felt like they didn’t really do anything for my skin. The mask went on rather easily and even. I did still manage to get some in my hair lol but I think that is inevitable with any peel off mask I use. It had a floral scent to it which I wasn’t really a fan of. I felt like the fragrance was a little overwhelming very strong. It took about ten to fifteen minutes before the mask completely dried down which isn’t to bad of a time frame. It didn’t feel super tight on my face once it was dried down which is awesome because I do not like that tight feeling I get with some masks. Because it is basically tugging on your skin which is a no no in my book. We want to be as gentle as possible with our skin am I right? Anyway once I started peeling the mask off I was actually really surprised at how easy the process was. It came off super easy and I did not feel any pain what so ever. Which was really refreshing. I did have a slight issue with getting it out of my hair. I ultimately ended up washing it out because I didn’t want to pull out my edges. But overall it was a pretty good experience. Once the mask was removed my face felt increasingly soft and smooth. My skin looked calm and even. I know that calendula has the potential to calm irritation within the skin so the results were as expected. It is a pretty decent mask I didn’t really find much negative feedback to give it. Other than the strong scent everything else seem to be on point. I personally wouldn’t purchase it in the future though. But not because it is a bad mask but more so because peel off masks just aren’t my cup of tea.

I can't resist a good (and in this case popular) peel off mask! This helps remove blackheads, dead skin, oil, and other impurities. The antiseptic and antibacterial properties of the Calendula flower make it effective against acne. It's also an anti-inflammatory, making the product suitable for use on sensitive skin. Haven't used it much yet, but my face feels great every time I do.

I don't have acne but I do have very sensitive skin and I think this peel off would be great for acne prone skin! It's super gentle while being very effective. The mask has a light scent and is basically clear with pieces of the Calendula Flower in it. Their is the slightest hint of alcohol at first but that dissipates almost immediately. I really enjoy this mask and I have already repurchased it💛 Oops..I almost forgot about the Jelly Brush! I really like this jelly brush💛 It has an upside down triangle shape that makes it really easy to apply in small areas like around your eyebrows and nose. I’m not usually a fan of peel off masks, but I really liked this one. It came with a mask brush to make application easy. It didn’t sting or irritate my face, and it was painless to pull off. After using this mask my skin felt really smooth and hydrated. I loved how gentle this mask was and it made my skin feel great. I would absolutely buy this mask again and recommend it to others.

April Skin quite generously gifted me three of their products and I’m really enjoying them all. . Calendula has antiseptic properties, which makes it great for treating wounds and preventing acne. It also conditions the skin, has antioxidants in it, stimulates collagen production and helps prevent dry skin. These products have such a light fresh scent that I love. . The Real Calendula Peel Off mask is very appealing, pardon the pun because I love these kinds of masks. It has some great ingredients and is pain free when you pull it off. Most don’t bother me when I peel them off, but I do remember one that hurt a lot. My skin looks. Leaf and feels smooth after using this. . The Real Calendula Peeling Pads are great and such any easy way to quickly exfoliate and smooth your skin. You get a nice big jar of them and there are actual pieces of the plants in the jar. Love this! . Last up and my absolute favorite is the April Skin Carrot Serum. Okay, so it’s no secret that I love serums and this one really has become a favorite. It’s for blemish clearing and brightening. I’ve been using it twice a day every day since I got it and my skin has been so clear. I’ve been using it along with some other serums and creams that I’ve recently tested and I have to tell you that I think I’ve landed on a great routine. . Hi guys, I'm running behind, idk where the time goes! Ok, so today I'm reviewing AprilSkin, Calendula Peeling Mask w Jelly Brush. I've had the opportunity to try their facial cleanser & I love it! Smells so nice & the flower petals are awesome. The company, AprilSkin, is a natural cosmetics brand, which has a wide variety of skincare to cosmetics, all made w natural ingredients. The mask is very gentle on the skin. unlike some other brands, this peeling mask can be used by all skin types, even the most sensitive skin. The mask is also extremely moisturizing & the peel off mask, is formulated with flower ingredients, which help to get rid of skin waste while also helps clarify the skin. This mask also addresses sebum, it sucks up excess sebum as it dries. This peel off mask is formulated with flower ingredients & it targets skin waste & helps clarify the skin. The contains a high amount of the actual calendula flower. some 2000ppm, bt I have no idea what that really means. This marks leaves your skin feeling so silky smooth feeling & very moisturized. They include a Jelly brush, which makes application very easy & convenient. Direction's: 1) Avoid eye area & mouth area. Spread a thin layer over entire face (no eyes/mouth). 2) Leave on about 30 minutes until mask dries. Dont leave mask on too long, to avoid skin irritation. 3) When mask dries completely, gently start peeling from edges & preferably starting w the chin & work your way up. My thoughts: As I said in the beginning, I've tried the calendula cleanser & I really like it! The packaging is super cute & so cheery! It has a very pleasant, bt faint smell. Nothing over powering. I've tried some really painful peel off mask & that's another reason I was excited to try this, because they say it's not a painful peel mask. They were right. Zero pain, just a fun peeling mask. I'm impressed, I didn't think it'd be painless. My skin feels so nice after this mask. Super smooth, clean & hydrated. This is a really nice, simple mask. APRILSKIN claims this mask will: soothe and clarify by clearing away blackheads, dead skin, dirt, oil and debris. Revealing clearer, smoother skin with best results in four weeks. . Some of the key ingredients in this mask are as follows: calendula flower (all parts of the flower), a flower complex made up of five different flowers (starflower, cornflower, chamomile, lavender, and clary), plus various tree and fruit oils. . This mask comes in a yellow plastic squeezeable bottle, with a flip cap for dispensing. The mask itself is a translucent yellow color, with visible calendula flower petals throughout it. Unlike many peel-off masks, the texture is like a gel and not thick or sticky, & it has a light citrusy scent. It also came with a pretty APRILSKIN silicone mask applicator! . I applied this all over my face & let it sit on my skin for about 20 minutes until it’s completely dry. When it was time to remove it, the mask came off easily, & it wasn’t painful to remove like some peel-off masks can be. After removal I was left with radiant, soft, & even looking skin. I love this mask pack, & I will definitely be using my coin to buy this mask again!

I was very excited to get the opportunity to test out another Aprilskin product! This time it was the calendula infused peel off mask and facial spatula. This mask has a powerful anti inflammatory property which also helps deep clean. It’s a beautiful mask with flower pedals included. It’s a very clean product which is always great!
