I am so glad I was able to try out this facial foam cleanser and share my review!! First I want to note just how cute the box is!! 🏵🌼I also love that the actual bottle has color to it but you can still see how much product is left. This is made by APRILSKIN I have never heard of them until now but I will be checking out some of their other products because of how much I enjoyed this one. This specific cleanser costs $20 however I received it free in exchange for my review. I love this foam cleanser! I use this in my daily routine and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. It doesn’t leave my face feeling dry either which I like. The pieces of calendula also help to softly scrub off the dirt. It also foams up nicely and smells good. A great AprilSkin buy🌼💞

All cleansers are not created equal. I found this out the hard way when I had to toss my regular daily gel face wash because I realized it was drying out my skin. Needless to say, I was in need of a new product that was gentle enough for daily use but effective at removing dirt and oil. Meet Aprilskin Calendula Foam Cleanser, which I recently discovered on 0.8L.com. I'll be honest in saying that I didn't have big expectations for this product. The minimalist packaging and simplicity of its presentation didn't give away how wonderful this cleanser truly is. Initially I decided to purchase it because I love anything containing Calendula. I love the scent; plus it's a super skin boosting ingredient, known for its soothing and calming skin and can attack acne causing bacteria on skin. Excerpt from healthline.com article: "Calendula oil is a natural oil extracted from marigold flowers (Calendula officinalis). It's often used as a complementary or alternative treatment. Calendula oil has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties..." I've been using this exclusively to wash for about a week now and was pleasantly surprised by the rich, yet airy, clean-rinsing foam lather that a small dab generates. Immediately, after applying you can literally feel the foam lifting excess oil from your face and a soothing effect. I don't have sensitive skin but I welt easily with vigorous washing and I had hoped that this would counteract that issue. My skin texture felt silken smooth, the complexion appeared brighter looking, and my skin overall looked refreshed after use. The best part? My face didn't look or feel dehydrated, ashen, or tight a couple of minutes after drying, because Aprilskin Calendula Foam Cleanser doesn't strip your skin of natural moisture with harsh additives. It's a clean and natural wash and rinse. I'll definitely be stocking up on this to help me transition into seasonal skincare changes with a more gentle touch. This cleanser is really good! The smell is really nice. It has a citrus smell. This makes my skin feel refreshed and nice. Compared to other cleansers, it doesn’t make my skin feel tight. I’d buy this product again

The amount of face washes I have tried could probably fill a book at this point, but I think I have found my Holy Grail (or at least one of them haha). The Calendula Foam Cleanser from @aprilskin_global is better than any other gel cleanser I have tried in the last year, and that is no exaggeration in the slightest. While it is labeled as a foam cleanser it isn’t a “foam cleanser” as most Americans would think of on first thought, but a gel that makes the most thick, luxurious lather I have ever experienced with a facial cleanser. A little goes a long way, and I am able to use about a penny sized amount with a little bit of water and cleanse my entire face and neck. But I am getting ahead of myself, let’s get into some of the main ingredients before my overall review. Calendula Officinalis Flower Water AND Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract - Also known as Pot Marigold, Calendula extract is highly praised for its effective soothing and moisturizing properties making it especially beneficial for sensitive and irritated skin. Borago Officinalis Extract- Non-fragrant, moisturizing plant oil that’s a rich source of the essential fatty acid, gamma linolenic acid. Centaurea Cyanus Flower Extract- Better known as Cornflower Extract this ingredient is both a skin soother and skin conditioner with anti-inflammatory properties to help with any redness or issues you may currently be experiencing with your skin. Beta-Glucan- Beta glucans are polysaccharide sugars found in cell walls that are derived from various mushrooms, plants, algaes, yeasts or oats. High in antioxidants, beta-glucan soothes and calms irritated skin, as well as firm and plump fine lines and wrinkles. Salicylic Acid- Easily one of favorite acids. Also known as Beta Hydroxy Acid, Salicylic Acid is a deep penetrating acid that helps to shed dead skin in a similar way to how skin naturally sheds skin when we are younger. It fully penetrates the pore lining, exfoliating from the inside out, helping to reduce both whiteheads and blackheads. Notable Ingredients- Citric Acid, Orange peel extract, Lavender flower, and Lavender flower extract. While all of these things help to make for a great sensory experience first thing in the morning these ingredients can cause irritation with prolonged use, especially in people with more sensitive skin. My Thoughts: Dear. Lord. I have fallen so much in love with this cleanser. Being someone with combination skin and a VERY oily T-zone, this facial cleanser has been everything I have been looking for for my daily cleanser. I cannot vouch for its makeup removal as I always double cleanse in the evening, however it is very soothing to use and cleans deeply without overly stripping the skin of its natural oils and moisture. With how much it has balanced out my skin in the last 2-3 weeks of use I would say this is great for anyone with combination oily, or normal skin. A pH of 5.5 places this cleanser at roughly the same natural levels of your skin, which helps protect your skin barrier and promote healthy, glowing skin. There is a chance that it may be too much for dry or sensitive skin to use twice a day, but a few times a week should be fine without any kind of worries of overdoing it on your face. There are real calendula petals in the formula that you can see when using it. I would not say that they really do anything much for the efficacy product, but it does help for people who are all about the aesthetics of a product. This foaming cleanser also contains willow bark extract (which is what salicylic acid is made from). This extract reduces the amount of unwanted skin sebum and keeps pores in top shape. A foaming cleanser is a great way to introduce salicylic acid, because it doesn’t stay on the skin for long and thus has a reduced chance of causing dryness (as opposed to salicylic acid toners, for example). The foam also includes beta glucan - a skin soothing agent with antioxidant properties, which reduces redness and is great for sensitive skin. All of the ingredients are EWG certified as safe. The foaming cleanser was tested by P&K Skin Research Center and found to be non-irritating. Their Real Calendula line is top notch and I’ve loved the 3 (out of 4) products I’ve tried. This is a great foaming cleanser. It gently purifies without stripping or drying the skin. The scent is very gentle and reminds me a bit of citrus. I mostly use it in the evenings. The tube is rather large and should last for several months. Looking closely, one can see tiny calendula petals in the product. It does lather up but I wouldn’t say it was foaming. 🍋 Refreshing Face Wash with Fresh Citrus Scent 🍋 Recently I was lucky enough to be able to get the @aprilskin_global Calendula Foam Cleanser from @08L for a small fee of $3.99 ... regular retail $20.00 for the cleanser Man do I honestly feel lucky I got my hands on this cleanser! This cleanser has become my entire household favorite facial wash! We all enjoy the wonderful citrus scent which isn’t harsh at all! Doesn’t give any of us any type of irritation (we are all different skin types). Even my 7 year old likes using it in the morning. Like he say “Its Super Fresh” ... the cleanser is very gentle so any skin types can use it. This is a thicker consistency almost feels like a gel mask. But you only need maybe a quarter size and wet it between your hands it lathers up very nicely. This cleanser is also very hydrating and doesn’t make your skin feel dried out after using (some cleansers out there can dry you out where we feel like rubber tight). The cleanser helps maintain our PH levels and strengthens your skins protective barrier. It has canedula & salicylic acid . Only thing which is not a big deal to me it doesn’t remove waterproof mascara. But I typically use a different product for that anyways (most cleansers I have don’t remove mascara well). But I would rate this a 4.5/5 and would definitely buy it again!

The Real Calendula Foam Cleanser is designed to deeply and purely cleanse through a bio micro deep system. It helps to remove dead skin cells, calms the skin and moisturizes. This product contains 200 grams (7.05 oz) and it has a floral citrusy scent. This cleanser comes in a basic squeeze tube. The cleanser has an almost gel-like texture and contains some plant/flower matter. The blends out and almost looks oily as it lathers up. The cleanser rinses off clean without drying out the skin or stripping it. The skin feels hydrated after rinsing it off. Recommended use is to squeeze a small amount and work into a foamy lather. Gently massage with foam onto the face so that the ingredients will more easily deliver their nutrients to the skin and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. After using, this cleanser is really nice and matches well with the other products in APRILSKIN’s Real Calendula line. The pH level of this cleanser is 5.5 and it’s fairly gentle. The texture of the cleanser is very interesting and it cleanses and removes dirt effectively. The ingredients are really nice but there is a strong floral citrus scent which could be a deterrent. Due to the fragrance and the salicylic acid, I think this would probably not be the best for people with sensitive skin. I like that this is a non-drying cleanser that doesn’t strip the skin or leave behind any residue. I’d recommend this to anyone with dry and dehydrated skin and people who don’t have super sensitive skin. What I like: this cleanser does a good job of getting rid of dirt and hydrating skin with no residue or stripping. The ingredients are really nice and it has a nice low pH level. It’s pretty gentle and I personally like the fragrance. What I don’t like: this cleanser does have a pretty strong fragrance and if you don’t like salicylic acid then this would be a bit irritating to sensitive skin. Rating: 9/10

It contains Salicylic Acid which removes dead skin cells and allows micro micelle bubbles to enter the pores removing additional dead skin cells. I was bet excited to have the opportunity to try another April Skin product. It’s becoming one of my favorite brands. I received this calendula foam cleaner to test and give my honest opinion. I did pay a small fee for this collaboration. I have really enjoyed this foam cleaner. It is made with calendula and even has flower petals in the cleaner which is a beautiful touch! It’s very soothing and great for sensitive skin. I love that it’s a clean brand with no hard chemicals or fragrances. It’s even EWG green grade verified. YAY!! It foamed well and smelled like a garden of spring flowers. The only negative I could find is it’s not great at washing heavy makeup. I don’t wear heavy make up a lot so it made a great morning face wash for me. I really enjoyed it and would purchase it again. very gentle on the skin. has a nice citrus smell.it foams up but not alot. really gets into your pores and cleans them out. my skin is so smooth after using. remove your makeup first than use this cleansing wash your skin will shine. it looked like I had highlighter on my face when I didn't it was just very clean and refreshed. definitely would repurchase this product. very nice. great cleanse for your face and skin care routine.

This is called a foam cleanser but when it comes out of the tube it’s in a really thick gel. I was a little nervous about the scent when I first smelled. It was strong to me but I am sensitive to scents. As I used it the scent didn’t bother me at all. 🌼 I applied it to a dry face then wet my hands and worked it into a foam. I did a really thorough massage with this cleanser on my face probably about 3-5 minutes. As I was rubbing I kept seeing strips of particles on my face. Then I realize that must be the pedals from the calendula. After I rinsed with warm water my face didn’t feel stripped at all. The glow came after my skin was settled.

I have oily skin which is highly prone to breakouts and it's just a nightmare to find a right products as my skin gets used to everything very quickly and I have to be in a constant search. At the time I was suffering with redness and lots of red pimples all over the T-zone, I was also on my period and I'm sure you can imagine my hormones were going out of control. This cleanser did a miracle. I had previously only used face washes with salicylic acid in an attempt to dry out my skin and blemishes. But the SA was too harsh and if I forgot to wash my face for a night I would break out horribly by the next week. This face wash smells GREAT. It dries out my oily skin but doesn’t over dry; with a little moisturizer it feels better than ever. The bumps and blemishes that used to take up both of my cheeks, chin and above my upper lip are completely gone and only make a reappearance (of only one or two minor blemishes) right before my period starts. Because of this face wash I’ve been much more confident and have stopped wearing foundation all together this summer, which has also greatly improved my skin. I washed my face before going to bed, didn't put anything else on and woke up with just 2 faded pimples left, my skin cleared dramatically, redness has disappeared, it was glowing! I still can't believe I got such an incredible result from a simple cleanser!?! I normally use toners, serums and moisturisers plus spot treatments, I've honestly never seen anything like this from the use of US products.

Few days ago I purchased this Aprilskin Calendula Foam Cleanser with a discounted price to try. My first impression was that the size is very convenient if you cleanse at least twice a day like me ^^ or even more. Inside of the container that is very attractive there are pieces of flowers and it has a particular smell but it is fine, not that strong. I cleansed my face as usual, as soon as you apply a bit of water it turns into foam and it doesn’t leave the skin that dry as some other cleansers, I think is very gentle, but always is convenient to apply some moisture n.< Was a good choice and I am glad I got it for trial.

This #APRILSKIN product has been a great help for my sensitive skin. As the main ingredient is calendula, it gives protection and relief to redness and calmness to stressed skin. It has become a staple for morning cleansing. I have tried it three times so far, and I love its effect and its scent, so soothing. With a little water it makes a lather that cleanses and hydrates perfectly my skin without any harsh effects. The tube that contains the cleansing soap is huge and it lasts for quite long. A little is just necessary for the whole face and neck. After washing out all the lather, I pat dry with a cotton towel, my skin feels very hydrated and calm. The only con is the packaging, because it some water falls on it, it gets soaked very quickly, making it difficult to save the tube inside. Other than that, I love this product and will make it part of my morning beauty ritual.

This is actually a pretty decent cleanser I mean it wouldn’t exactly be a cleanser that I would reach for on a regular but it’s not awful. I feel like this cleanser is really good at deep cleansing the skin and though it is not as hydrating as I would have liked it to be it doesn’t strip the skin leaving my skin feeling dry and irritated. My skin still felt like it had some moisture in it as well as feeling clean. I like the fact that the cleanser is really thick in consistency and builds up a pretty decent lather. It also has some kind of flower particles in it which I personally feel like are just for presentation but didn’t cause any harm to my skin. One key element that I want to throw out there is that I absolutely hated the scent of this cleanser lol. I don’t mean to be so harsh but when I started to cleanse my face I gagged a little. The fragrance definitely took me by surprise. I really like the packaging very pretty and vibrant. Yellow is a great color to use for packaging because it really helps the product stand out. It also is a very big bottle I’m almost certain this cleanser would last a pretty long time. Overall I liked almost everything about the cleanser except the fragrance. Granite this wouldn’t be a cleanser that I would personally incorporate in to my own skincare routine that doesn’t necessarily mean it is a bad cleanser. It had some great attributes and is definitely worth trying out if your looking for new products to add to your routine or simply just want to try something new. My skin looked very clean, refreshed, and energized. I gotten no negative reaction or irritation while using it and it did a mighty fine job and cleaning my skin.
