First impressions of this calendula foaming cleanser - it’s gentle and effective, calming (or at least non irritating). It has a pleasant, somewhat citrusy scent that I find absolutely glorious. I need to take a closer look at aprilskin as a brand, because so far I’m really liking their products. I’ll do a full review after using this product more. [April Skin] Real Calendula Foam Cleanser is the first step of the skincare routine. This cleanser contains Calendula and Salycilic acid. The cleanser is non-irritation and deeply cleanses the skin while being gentle and doesn't dry the skin. The cleanser deep cleans the pores to remove impurities that can irritate your skin. It is hypoallergenic and EWG green grade product verified. The cleanser comes in a tube which contains a clear gel liquid with calendula flower petals. The cleanse has a nice pleasant scent that isn't perfumed but subtle, sweet and flowery. I washed my face with the foam cleanser and it removed makeup and dirt easily. I didn't feel my face drying at all or irritation. I kind of felt it being more moisturizing and calming on my skin. My overall thought is this is a good cleanser for deep cleansing the face and it helps prevent my skin from being clogged since it contains salicylic acid. I give this a 10/10.

I love this product. I was searching for something to help with my dry skin while not stripping my skin of moisture and making me feel clean. This worked and lathers so beautifully, a little goes a long way. I use it twice daily and my skin never feels dried out. This product leaves my skin feeling refreshed and very clean. April Skin quite generously gifted me their Real Calendula Foam Cleanser and I really love it. . This deep cleansing foam cleanser comes in a cheerful, generously sized 7.05 oz tube inside a pretty box. It has a lovely fragrance from its stellar ingredients such as calendula, willow bark, betaine, salicylic acid, Panthenol and beta-gluclan. The calendula cleanses and moisturizes, the salicylic acid exfoliates and micellar bubbles clean out the pores. The 5.5 ph level balances the skin and strengthens the skin barrier. It also calms the skin, gives it vitality, controls sebum and provides hydration. . I really like this cleanser. I love it’s fresh scent from the ingredients and how it foams up so well, but cleans without stripping. It’s good to know that you’re treating your skin at the same time. I will happily repurchase this and I’m anxious to try some of their other products like the carrot serum and the calendula essence and peel. . . .

APRILSKIN Real Calendula Foam Cleanser Daily cleanser that claim to be non irritant to the skin yet cleans deeply. It contain calendula for calming sensitive skin and Salicylic Acid to remove all impurities. It contains Matricaria Chamomile, Cornflower, Borage and Lavender to revitalize and moisturize your skin, White Willow Bark to remove dead skin cells and Orange Peel Oil for brightening effect of the skin. Claims to be low acidity (at 5.5 pH) This is very dense gel with real petal inside. You need the tiniest amount to wash your face and neck. It foams amazingly and I strongly recommend to make that foam in your palms then apply it on the damp skin. It cleans beautifully but be careful, there is Orange Peel Oil that might irritate. It works for now on my skin but I use it only once or twice a week, and only in the night. I wish I could use it 5 times a day it is so satisfying and pleasant to use it! I think I would be stuck with only one line if I have more of it to try. @Aprilskin_global Real Calendula Foam Cleanser is a hypoallergenic deep cleansing product with a pH of 5.5. It claims to clean deeply but gently. And moisturize, calm, and soothe. Some of the ingredients are real calendula water, salycilic acid, chamomile recutita (matricaria) flower, willow bark, and lavender. Also contains other botanical ingredients and real calendula flowers that melt on contact. It’s translucent and relatively thick with visible calendula petals. The scent is like citrus and lavender. I used about a pea-sized amount and lathers in hands with water. Then I applied to damp face. The lather felt rich and creamy and rinsed clean without dry or tight feeling. My skin felt clean, soft, smooth, and looked brighter and refreshed. I enjoyed using this cleanser and would recommend to any skin type. Review for @0.8l_usa --- @aprilskin_global real calendula foam cleanser --- Gel foam cleanser with real calendula flower petals & salycilic acid to help remove dead skin. --- This gel cleanser smells so nice. It reminds me of the citron peel jam teas Korean people drink, look, texture and smell. It lather up nicely and clean well. It definitely stopped my oils but not enough to dry me out. It didn't do the best job at clearing my dead skin but maybe with longer use, it will clear my skin as it also has salicylic acid. Which is great for acne skin type or congested skin. My only complaint is my first use the was a big piece of hard stem in the gel and I had to pick it up before washing my face. So hard it's only happen that time and after it's just been petals And the petals get string and makes the tube closure a bit messy. Also it does sting the eyes a bit. I tend to wash too close to my eye and open them from time to time. Def keep away from the eyes. I really want to try the whole calendula line, especially the peel of mask. --- Purchase through 08L for $3.99 to test and review. ---

Thank you 0.8L for letting me try this product. I was very excited to try out the product since I love love LOVE the calendula peel off mask! The first thing I noticed with the product is the amount of petals in the cleanser. The texture is a pretty thin gel type texture with melting petals inside. It lathers up quite nicely but the smell is pretty strong. Also, the bubbles continue to form as you rinse your face. Overall, it’s a decent cleanser. The smell is too strong for me though.

The Aprilskin Real Calendula Foam Cleanser is formulated to smooth and protect skin. As a low PH cleanser, it is closer to the natural acidity range of sebum than a typical cleanser or bar of soap. It is free of artificial fragrance and dyes, and it has floral extracts but not essential oils. I love that it has willow bark which is great for calming oily skin, and beta-glucan rather than glycerin for extra moisture. I prefer to use this gentle, low PH a morning cleanser. It foams up with very clean and crisp bubbles rather than a velvety foam. Because of this, I can actually feel the little bubbles rolling off of my face when rinsing! My skin is left feeling clean but not irritated or itchy. The fragrance is exactly like Korean honey Citron tea, which is very close to pomelo and nothing like lemon, but still clearly citrus. The cleanser just smells so fresh and sweet. If you think you love lemon scented products, you'll love this! The cleanser is formulated with calendula flower water and real flower petals (not Marigold). If you want to redistribute the petals, you can leave your cleanser tube upside down for a while. I personally think that the petals are there for aesthetic reasons and do not add any extra exfoliation to the product. So far, I'm very happy with the Aprilskin Real Calendula Cleanser. They make one of my favorite cushion foundations so when I had the opportunity to try this I had to check it out. • These two products are made with Real Calendula Flower water. You can see the little flower pieces mixed in! • The cleanser has such a unique texture to it. It's a gel, but it is super thick and gloopy. I really love the way that it cleanses. It doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped at all. • The essence is more like a serum texture to me, so I use it in that step of my routine. This has such great ingredient list with 80% Calendula Flower Water as first on the list and five different Hyaluronic Acids!!! • I'm really enjoying using these products as they help to keep skin so hydrated and glowy! Was looking for a cleanser to add to my skin routine and so glad I found this one . This product is a low foam cleanser for locking in moisture and keeping in the oils from your skin. The cleanser lives up to all this, including make my skin feel so soft after. The cleanser also contains small petals which are very small so I don’t mind them at all. Not a strong scent which I prefer . Overall, does a great job at cleaning my skin and making it feel so nice after . I will definitely continue using this product . Super happy with it .

Gets my face fresh and clean and quickly. I have combination skin also is a little sensitive and this product never causes me problem. Gets rid of the most stubborn makeup and suncream and I swear my pores look smaller and are clear now with no blackheads anymore. I don’t know what I would do without this set. This is a lovely water based cleanser that I use as my second step after oil cleansing. It has a very subtle flowery scent to it and uses the calendula flower to give skin vitality and moisture and provide a calming effect on the skin. 🌸 Other ingredients in this foam cleanser include cornflower, barley, lavender, and salicylic acid. This is a weak acid foam cleanser that has a pH of 5.5 which is ideal for skin. 😍 Only a pea sized amount of this product is needed to create lots of foam and it rinses off cleanly leaving my skin feeling soothed and hydrated. 💧 Thank you to @0.8l_usa and #AprilSkin for allowing me to try out this product for a trial fee. ❤ I'm very pleased with the results from this product and I look forward to trying more products from this brand. 💚

This is the very first product I've ever tried from Aprilskin, so I was really excited to give it a try. This comes in a 200 gram sealed plastic tube that retails for $20.00. 🌼This low pH cleanser claims to balance the skin's pH level while reaching deeply into pores to clean out sebum, dirt, makeup, and other grime without stripping the skin of essential moisture. This cleanser contains pieces of 🌼Calendula🌼 flower petals to assist with the exfoliation of dead skin cells and sebum. This is formulated to be gentle enough for everyday use. They recommend you use the entire 🌼Calendula🌼 line (cleanser, peel off mask, peeling pads, and deep moisture essence) to see the biggest benefits.🌼 🌼My thoughts💭: I have sensitive skin and Rosacea. 🌼I used this cleanser as my first step in my routine twice daily for the past 2 weeks, followed by a 2nd cleanse (micellar water), toner, facial mist, serum, eye cream, moisturizer, and finally, sunscreen. 🌼Every other day I use a face mask. ⭐️ᏒᎬᏉᎥᎬᎳ⭐️⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ April Skin, Real Calendula Cleanser ($20, brand website)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ———————⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⇛Beauty (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️): This cleanser was a complete surprise to me, as I was expecting just an average cleanser. You get a giant tube, and you only need a pea sized amount. The amount in the texture shot is enough for two uses. It’s low lather and relatively gentle, yet effortlessly melts off makeup and grime, and removes everything in one step. When I wipe down my face with toner, I don’t find any makeup residue. The trade off is that this is slightly more drying than my holy grail cleanser from It Cosmetics, which is why it’s rated 4 stars. This doesn’t diminish the fact that I really enjoy this cleanser, and would definitely repurchase this instead of the It Cosmetics cleanser at full price, which is significantly more money for a marginally better product. I can’t often use many cleansing oils and balms because they break me out, so I prefer one-step non-drying cleansers. For the price point, I would very much recommend this and it works well in tandem with the peel off mask. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ———————⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⇛Business (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, cruelty-free): I’ve only tried two products from this Korean skincare and makeup brand. I like that they are cruelty free and artificial fragrance free (products contain essential oils like lavender oil). They are relatively new to the US, and offer two ranges of skincare for various skin types (Calendula and Carrot lines). I like that the skincare products are mostly non-irritating, gentle, deliver on claims, and it’s all at a reasonable price point. Only their Korean site has the complexion makeup products, which don’t have shades for anyone darker than light/medium. Their US site doesn’t carry any makeup, and it appears they use inclusive marketing which is very forward thinking for a Korean brand trying to enter the US market. For this, I will give them due credit and applause. When they do release makeup in the US, I hope it is an inclusive range. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
