I wear when I had knee pain. The knee sleeve does not move, it does not budge and it does not cause any friction what so ever. This sleeve took my knee pain away & seemed like a miracle. The burn I recieved itched like crazy. The burn showed up only a few days later after I had it off for a few days. It took me a while to figure out what was going on & what happened to my leg. If it were from friction I would have seen and felt any injury right away. It is so weird for something like this to appear days later. I see now this is made from silicone but non toxic. I had some kind of reaction and hope I have no further issues in the future. I ordered the product in the bigger size they offer since my legs are on the large/brawny side, and they fitted perfectly. I have worn them a couple of times, some of them while practicing indoor cycling or while I was at the gym, and others while resting at my home, and I have to say that I do notice some changes when I use them. That said, this is a great idea as it is so lightweight, yet supports my knee nicely. A while back, I had a major slip & fall where I slammed down on my knees hard & had to go thru therapy ~ and to this day, at times I need some support on my knees. ⁣ ⁣ Despite being way to big, this doesn't slip down my leg as it has a skin-friendly, non-toxic bio-adhesive silicone weaved into the fabric, called BWAS™ Technology (Bio Waved Adhesive Technology). This has sports taping throughout the sleeve, so it will support the knee & boosts blood flow ~ if I had ordered the proper size, it would have prevented injuries too. so I got this for a friend that inexplicably wears one pretty much every day despite being in his early 30s and not ever being into sports. you might even call him an expert in knee braces. Aren't guys giant babies?! can I get an amen from my ladies?! anyways, this was the best review I could get out of him, a man that knows his way around a knee brace. FINALIZED REVIEW ⚽️My husband recieved both the calf and knee sleeves. On the side of the knee sleeves there are white stripes. Strangely on that same spot, that was against his knee, he had Welts the exact size and shape of those Whites Stripes. They looked like little caterpillars. I asked him when he wore it if it moved around and felt to loose or if it or felt to tight. He said it felt fine until he took it off. That is when he noticed the welts on the side of his knee but the worst part was that they itched and burned thankfully not for long.⚽️ ⚾️I thought since this was washable I could wash it and then have him try it again. He was hesitant but did try them again. This time we checked his knee after only 30 minutes and sure enough he had the same welts with the same burning and itching.⚾️ 🏀He recieved both the calf and knee sleeves and had the same odd reaction to both. He doesn't have sensitive skin. We are stumped we don't have a clue why this happened. I can't explain, nor can he, why he had such a strange reaction. @0.8l_usa recently had the Wavewear kinesiology taping knee sleeve available for the trial price of $3.99. I wanted to get it right away because my mom has been having terrible knee pain. She has a different brace that she had been using but we wanted to see if this would work better and/or be more comfortable. The sleeve looks really small but it does stretch to fit over the knee. The material is light and breathable. This is important because she wears it to work, under jeans, in Florida. When she first tried it, it was tight. The directions say to only wear it for a few hours at first. She felt pretty comfortable but was glad to take it off because it was tight. As time has gone on its become less tight. My mom has worn it a few times but hasn't decided if she likes it better than her brace. This one doesn't have any support which is the main reason why she isn't loving it. If you need more support this may not be the best product for you. She is going to continue using it and give me an update after a bit longer. I have had knee surgery years ago and I still have horrible knee aches and pains often. The pain even keeps me awake at night. I have enjoyed the use of this knee sleeve. It has helped with the achiness and fatigue I usually feel after just a short walk around the block. It is not so tight and uncomfortable that it hurts to wear it like others I have worn. Good afternoon to all of you beautiful souls out there! This review is for a brand that's new to me, "Wave Wear", and it's for their Kinesiology Knee Sleeve. This is a sports taping compression sleeve that provides femur and patella support, reduces fatigue, aids in faster recovery times, reduces swelling, and is ready to go in seconds, as opposed to the time needed tho apply sports tape. Wave Wear took 6 years to develop the silicone and fabric blend that mimics the effects of kinesiology taping up to 80%. You are supposed to start by wearing the sleeve for an hour, working your way up to a maximum of 5 hours each day. It's worth noting that the packaging provides sizing for 2 different fits: active & compression. Active fit means the sleeve will be less tight. I didn't have that info available when picking the size, so while my medium sized knee sleeve fits, I wish it had more of a compression feel to it because of all of the inflammation I routinely have. I should've ordered a size small. I have no problems with this staying up and in place during the day, but conversely, I also didn't feel much of a benefit from wearing it after 5 hours either, compared to my other knee (equally as bad inflammation wise). This might be different if I had a tighter sleeve. I'm only giving the product 3 stars because I needed something tighter. I used to be a avid runner but several years ago during a Disney 1/2 Marathon, at 10 mile mark my right knee failed on me. Since I paid way too much for the run I decided to just walk it out the rest 3 miles. I got it checked out and the doctor, took an e-ray and he diagnosed me with what's commonly known as "runner's knee". . After the injury, I found out I was expecting, I gave birth and with life and excuses in between, I admit it was very difficult for me to get back into running again. My short break became years. I pretty much became a potato. No intention of exercising and I had low energy. After years of running hiatus and now that my youngest started pre-school few months ago, I decided to get back into running. It's been about 4 months since I started to train again. I bought myself a roll of KT tape which helped reduce pressure. Hence, when @0.8l_usa opened @wavewear_net Kinesiology Taping Knee Sleeve for trial price, I was immediately sold and couldn't help myself from passing on this offer. . . I tried it during few runs and here are my thoughts. First of all, I purchased size small. I am a true medium but I feel picking up size small was the right choice. It was just the right fit. It was comfortable and did not have any issues sliding down my legs. The material is thin and breathable. It's not as effective as taping my knees with KT tape (kinesiology tape) but definitely helped my knee. . . I do feel the inner adhesive silicone for sport taping effect can be improved but overall very comfortable. I washed it few times and honestly the silicone liner did lose its firmness. I suppose it's expected. . . It didn't improve my runner's knee issue drastically but did help a little during my runs and definitely less hassle than taping my knees during each runs. I started to feel pressure around 3 mile mark with @wavewear_net when KT tape can currently last me during my entire run. I am at my 4 mile mark with increasing 0.25 distance every other run. I received the Wavewear kinesiology taping knee sleeve black from @08l_usa for $3.99 for my honest review. For a long time, I’ve had discomfort in my left knee so after seeing this product available for review, I thought, why not? I’ve tried multiple knee braces and they were always too big and would end up sliding down my leg. This is very form fitting but it’s not too tight where it cuts off circulation. This product provides patella and femur support, it reduces fatigue, has optimal compression, it reduces swelling, and it’s easy to put on by just sliding it up your leg. 6 years of research was put into Wave’s Silicone and Fabric to mimic the effects of Kinesiology Taping by up to 80%. While I do think this is a great product, it retails for about $28. Being practical, there are cheaper brands from the drugstore but I’m really glad I got to try this for the discounted price.

The semi-permanent adhesive taping wear is washable for many cycles of washing. With that all said, my first impression with trying this knee sleeve os the fact for how perfect it fits and how comfortable it is to wear. I have used numerous different types of knee braces/sleeves due to numerous surgeries and having 2 total knee replacements on my left knee. My right knee actually had the first and so far only surgery. Sadly after having to compensate for the left knee, right knee has been slowly deteriorating.
