The BLYCODE No.4 Prevention of Hair loss Shampoo is made in Korea. It is a transparent liquid and has a pleasant, slightly lemony scent. Took 2 pumps for me to generate sufficient lather for my shoulder-length hair, probably because it has no added sulfate surfactants. My hair feels light and smooth after use. I like that it has no added silicon and no added parabens. Overall, a good shampoo!

However, my hair ain’t damaged so it feel too heavy for me. My scalp felt oily after a few hours so it’s not for me. Would be perfect for people with damaged hair and dry scalp.

I am pleased to be selected to review another shampoo right after I finished my previous bottle 0.8L sent me. Unfortunately, I’ve been using Blycode shampoo for only about a little more than week now and I am trying to review this as accurately as I can. Blycode is a relatively wellknown brand in Korea due to it being marketing as shampoo that can be mixed to individual needs. I had selected prevention of hair loss shampoo as I personally felt I had loss quite some hair to exam stress and lack of sleep last month. Formulated with 9 patented herbal extract with 100% natural surfactant, the shampoo boast a no harmful ingredient list with 5,000ppm concentration of snail slime filtrate and was featured on Get it beauty show. Scent: 3.5/5 There’s a fresh citrus scent to it which reminds me of lemongrass. Probably a mixture of lime and lemon to it. I don’t hate it personally but I am pretty sure there will some people who may be bothered by the citrus-y scent. I’d say it’s of medium intensity. Ingredient safety: 5/5 I like that SLS/SLES that is commonly found in shampoos are replaced with natural surfactant as I find it less irritating for my scalp. I am please with the fact that it’s a silicon free shampoo. I find that silicon can weight down your hair despite coating your hair and make it smoother. Cleansing: 5/5 Texture more liquid-y than comment drugstore shampoo. I used 1.5 pumps for my hair length as I find 1 pump does not foams up easily, but when used the right amount, this product can lather well and cleanse well. I had used this is cleanse my hair that is coated with hair spray. This shampoo seems to be able to remove residue and build up pretty well. Smoothness of hair: 4/5 My feels soft and probably less frizzy, but I don’t feel like it did something to my ends. But to be fair, they did not promise a lot of smoothness of hair. After all, I am using a hairloss prevention shampoo. Despite that, I think it performed quite adequately in this area and lesser tangled hair means lesser tugging which ultimately leads to lesser fall out. Hair-fall/Hairloss: 3/5 (tentatively) To access the actual effectiveness of this shampoo, this product needs to be used for a longer period of time. As of now, what I can observed is that my hair roots got slightly thicker, I have lesser hair breakage and fallen hair as I remove the hair tie. The fall out rate during this period might be lesser, hence, more effective. I wasn’t able to conclude much on it since the fall out during shower was not significantly reduce as I don’t not have much fall out during shower at the start of using this shampoo. Will I repurchase? Likely yes. I feel like the shampoo does deliver when given enough time. And for 400ml, the price is not too burden on your wallet.

Blycode Shampoo - 5 Cica Calming Shampoo This is a shampoo that cares for troubles by increasing moisture and adjusting sebum amount, as well as to combat hair loss. The shampoo has a menthol smell and bubbles very easily, which is a plus point. I also find that my hair really does feel smooth after washing and does not feel dry at all. Will definitely use this for a couple more weeks to see its effects.

My second bottle of BLYCODE, Cica Calming Shampoo. I like how my scalp feels after using this shampoo. I love the minty feel. This shampoo cleanse my scalp and leave my scalp fresh and clean.

I love this Korean shampoo. Is cooling & wash my hair scalp clean. It also help the stimulated scalp & lose of hair to relax & be a very calming effect.Repair, restore & strengthens weak,damaged & overprocessed hair to restore a healthy look.

I 've been using the shampoo for a few days now and I noticed that my hair is softer now but I'm not sure if it would help with preventing hair falls.. It's slightly thicker than water and smells similar to a Dr Bronner's soap.. Fragrance doesn't last as long as Dr Bronner's though.. I had to wash twice because it wasn't as clean as I wanted my hair to be. After the second wash it feels much nicer, and much cleaner but the fragrance still doesn't last lol.. Will I purchase it? Maybe not.. Not quite sure yet.. Or should I gotten different ones?

This shampoo purportedly helps to alleviate hair loss symptoms. When I received this shampoo, the bottle had already unscrewed and some of the shampoo leaked, soaking the box in the process though the box itself was sealed. This shampoo has a clear thin liquid that produces rich bubbles effortlessly, thus making application is a breeze. Like the previous shampoo that I tested from the same brand, this has a pleasant smell which reminds me of Coke. However it's all gone soon as I rinse off my hair; I wish the smell would linger! It did a good job in cleaning my scalp and leaving my hair smooth after wash. However, there is not much difference as my hair still falls as much after days of use. For those with sensitive skin, this shampoo is dermatologically tested and free of harmful ingredients like parabens and silicone. This shampoo retails at USD20+ for 400ml. That being said, I will continue to use this shampoo and monitor. Should there be any improvement, I shall update my review again. Otherwise, I can't justify the hefty pricetag that comes with it. I love the menthol and herbal smell of this Blycode. My hair feels very smooth just after 1 wash and doesn’t really require conditioner anymore. Feels like there is a layer of protector after using this shampoo. Besides using anti ageing skincare products for my face, i also take care of my scalp. I do not want to go bald one day. To prevent hair loss, I'm using BLYCODE prevention hair loss shampoo. This shampoo has no added sulfate surfactants, no added silicon and no added parabens. BLYCODE shampoo not only helps with my scalp, it repairs, restores and strengthens my chemically treated hair.

Straight off it has a minty scent, as you shampoo your hair, you start to smell a bit of herbal scent. However, all frangrance disappears once you wash off the shampoo in your hair. It bubbles up easily, making it a fast and easy process to cleanse your scalp. However, 1 pump is not sufficient to clean the scalp totally. My hair is moisturised and smooth without the use of conditioner. I lose lesser hair overnight after using the product for a few days, but not significantly different. Would prefer if the product is more viscous.
