I applied starting from the roots to the tips, my first impression was that the consistency isn’t runny, and not too thick, it was just right. I wasn’t a fan of the scent, it’s more medicinal than I would prefer. I’m more of a fan of floral or fruity....I did like the fact the lotion didn’t leave my hair sticky or gummy. My hair felt very smooth and tangle free, so overall I would use again....

Dearborn Skin Comfort Hair Lotion is a try for a honest opinion. It has a slight scent to it that I don’t care for. You apply this to your scalp and hair after towel drying. It also mentions on directions that you can put it on your face and body after showering. I used this hair lotion on my scalp and hair. The lotion does help with moisturizing the scalp and does leave a shine. I would use this to keep my hair healthy.

To me, the difference between a hair oil & a hair lotion is texture, when & where to apply. I have oily hair & scalp, so oils only go on the tips of my hair. Yes, onions, but it doesn't smell like onions ~ it smells more like an herbal neroli to me. This patented formula will rejuvenate your skin, prevents rashes, soothes & eliminates itching & redness on the scalp or skin. This also has moisturizing amino acids, squalane, ceramide NP, macadamia seed oil, along with a slew of EO's ~ Bitter Orange Leaf, Lychee, Rosewood, Geranium, Bitter Orange Flower & Palmarosa. This is EWG Green graded & contains no sulfates or silicones. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Okay, Hair Lotions ~ I have fine straight hair that gets staticy in the winter time (all that dry, cold air outside & dry, hot air inside). I use hair lotions after I blow dry my hair & just run it thru my hair, so that it smoothes & prevents flyaways & static charges. This is very lightweight ~ it is like a watery emulsion and that is perfect for my hair type. This product was a pretty interesting concept: a lotion for everything on your body, including hair. The smell was not pleasant to me at all and the lotion was not all that moisturizing, so I can’t recommend it for general use all over the body. If you have very moist skin, or if you are about 20 years younger than I am, you could probably get away with using this as a body lotion. I was really hesitant to try this on my scalp and hair because of the smell, but thankfully it dried without leaving that smell in my hair. I haven’t noticed any difference in the health of my scalp, but this did a good job of softening up my hair and making it feel really silky. I also think it increased the shine a little bit, and it didn’t make my scalp feel itchy like some products do. Also, some hair products can make my hair look oily, but this didn’t do that at all. I would recommend this as a hair product for sure, especially if you have a lot of pretty thick hair that tends to look frizzy unless some anti-frizz product is used.

I received the Dearborn Skin Comfort Hair Lotion from @08l_usa for $3.99 for my honest review. It’s a hair, scalp, body, and hand lotion. This product doesn’t contain any sulfates or silicon. It has EWG green ingredients so it’s ideal for kids and people with sensitive skin. It retails for ₩32,000 or around $27.50 in USD. This product is a hard no from me. First, I cannot justify spending $27.50 for an all in one product that only contains slightly over 4oz. If I used this for everything, it would be gone in a week. Second, the consistency is very thin so while it isn’t a heavy product, it still didn’t do much as a leave in conditioner for my hair, which is fine, long, and color treated. If you bought a bottle of regular conditioner, mix it half or more with water, I believe you’d actually get a better result. As for a lotion, your favorite drugstore brand would be sufficient and most likely a quarter of the cost, especially for this product only being around 4oz. Finally, the smell. It smells like mild pepper rings. Given the initial scent didn’t remain, I still didn’t like it.

I have several reviews to catch up on because I've been sick, so we're going to get this ball rolling with my 1st review for this brand: the Dearborn Skin Comfort Hair Lotion. This is an interesting product, as you can not only use it on your hair and scalp, but on the rest of your body as well, because this innovative product is an all-over conditioner! This is slightly acidic, with a pH of 5.5, and actually holds a patent for calming and refining benefits. It helps to actually prevent static cling in the winter months (which are already WELL underway here in southern WI 🙄🥶) This is a product that is meant to be a leave-in hair conditioner, AND a post- bathing/shower skin lotion. As for what this nifty product DOES contain, it has the following active ingredients: Allium Cepa (onion) Bulb extract, Copper Tripeptide-1, Centella Asiatica extract, Glycine Max (soybean) Seed extract, Panthenol, Rutin, & Amino Acids. It is FREE of the following harmful ingredients: sulfates, silicones, parabens, Phenoxyethanol, PEGs, artificial dyes and fragrance, synthetic preservatives, synthetic thickeners, and other pore-clogging ingredients. The directions state to towel dry hair and body, & apply product to face and body. Then apply product to wet scalp, massaging the entire scalp lightly while working it through the hair. Can also be used as a light styling treatment. My thoughts: I have very short, healthy hair, so it doesn't take much to condition it, but I LOVED this product because it's a multitasker, it contains all natural ingredients, it's a leave-in, no-rinse product, and it does exactly what it says it will do by deeply nourishing and conditioning your hair, scalp, AND skin!! #WOOHOO!!! 🌶💇‍♀️🌶The first thing that I noticed was the very strong smell. It smells like jalapenos, I hate the smell of jalapenos. Why does this smell like jalapenos, I don't know but I really would love to find out. I put this on my hair while it was damp. Since I have oily hair I only applied it to the ends of my hair. I was pleasantly surprised at how lite it was. It didn't weight my hair down at all. It even helped me comb through it easier when it was still damp. When my hair was dry it really helped reduce flyaways. I love how it left my hair looking and feeling. However all I could smell was jalapenos it drove me insane.🌶💇‍♀️🌶 🚿👱‍♀️🚿A bottle that's 120ml. or 4.05 oz. retails for $27.00. I personally wont be repurchasing this and is because I can't handle the smell. Hello fellow 08l, I'm doing a review tonight on the Dea Vaughn , Serenity of Delicate Balance Skin Comfort Hair Lotion . This a product that prides itself on being nurturing to your skin , hair, & body, w no unnecessary ingredients. Natural ingredients you can hydrate your hair & skin, all in the shower. It got the EWG rating, letting us know there are no harmful ingredients in this product. How To Use: No right or wrong way to use. I personally find it the easiest to do during my shower. Whether or not you use it for only your hair or only your body, your entire body will benefit makes your hair very soft & it can be used on dry hair & skin, as well. My thoughts: I was curious about this & I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it. It's not a deep conditioning, bt it's very nice. My skin was very soft afterwards & so was my hair. I need more of a thick deep conditioning product, bt this is fantastic to use along w or in addition to my regular routine. It has an interesting fragrance, not overpowering or offensive, jst a faint scent herbal smell. I also really appreciate their lovely packaging w a beautiful message. Looking for smooth locks quick??!! This stuff is amazing for the hair!!! ✨✨👏👏 I used this stuff on my hair after getting out of the shower and once my hair dried I could not believe how soft it was. This was the only thing I put in my hair also!! 💚 I also put this on my 10 yr old who has really dry and coarse hair and it made his so silky and soft!! 😲😜 THere was however a few down falls for me.. 😣 I did NOT like the way it felt on my body. It is a bit watery (as you can see from the photo I took of it on my hand..the eye on my smiley started running within a second) and when I applied it it felt smooth at first then it almost felt like I had a really crappy glue on my arm.. lol 😂 oh and the SMELL !!! 🙊 My son and I were trying to figure out what it smelt like..we got it... jalapenos lol not even kidding!! Now I guess if u want your body smelling like a jalapeno this is def your type of moisturizer..but I do not however lol Now it did NOT make my hair smell bad. 👍 I do recommend this product for some smooth soft a$# hair but I do NOT recommend you put this on your body! I would not purchase this again just because it is a bit expensive and I would not probably use it enough for the cost. 🌸Skin confort hair lotion by Dearborn🌸 This is a head to toe lotion. It softens hair and moisturize skin. The smell is not that pleasant to me, but it's not that bad. I used the lotion on damp hair and it works great without making the hair oily.

I have very dry hair and always use a leave-in, and when the winds kick in, my scalp gets dry, so I was excited to try a leave-in that would address both issues and more.  Ingredient List Sampling (far too many to list, so I'm going with some that caught my eye): ~ Allium Cepa (onion) Bulb Extract ~ Hydrolized Collagen ~ Jasmine Flower Extract ~ Cymbopogon Martini Oil What it doesn't have: ~ Silicone  ~ Alcohol ~ Phenoxyethanol ~ PEG's ~ Sulfates ~ Parabens ~ Fragrance My first impression is the packaging is very pretty, and the pump works great.  The scent is a barely there light one that I cannot put my finger on, but a pleasant one.  Now, here is where I'm waffling on this product - it's consistency.  It's thin, very, very, thin.  And while I love that it isn't going to grease up my hair or scalp, it was far too thin for my dry hair.  But it did exceed my expectations when I felt my scalp.  I was definitely not dry any more. I had a very hard time combing through my hair, so I would suggest combing through first, then applying.  What I love about this product is that you can use it on every part of your body, and is great for sensitive skin.  While it left me soft for a while, I did have to apply lotion after just a few hours.   My conclusion is that I would not purchase this product simply because it is too weak to justify a purchase, but if you have sensitive skin, I do recommend it.
