When it comes to buying new skincare, do you choose based off of product claims, brand recognition, ingredients, etc? Personally, I tend to be very ingredient driven, which is what led me to trying out Some By Mi's Galactomyces Pure Vitamin C Glow Toner and Serum. Both products feature ferments and vitamin c, which are both ingredients that my skin loves! In regards to the formulation, both products feature ferments more heavily than they do vitamin c. Due to that, I would not recommend them if you are looking specifically for a vitamin c product. The skin brightening effects are more subtle, and they give more of a temporary glow to the skin versus long term benefits of reducing uneven skin texture and discoloration. The toner I found to be my favorite of the two; texture wise it is watery with noticeable slip. I did notice on a few occasions that it would foam slightly during application. This leads me to believe that either there are mild cleansing agents in the formula, or perhaps that it was interacting with trace dampness on my skin. In either situation, it would fade quickly and did not otherwise effect the performance of the toner. In regards to the serum, it was a runny gel like texture with a slightly oily finish. It left a dewy finish on my skin, and also interacted positively with the rest of my skincare. During the time I was testing these, I did notice that my skin appeared brighter and more luminous. If you're looking for something to improve your glow, but you're not needing heavy hitters to help with discoloration, I feel that these two fit the bill.

I noticed an immediate tightening of the skin. The texture became very smooth and soft in combination with the serum. I applied the toner and serum twice a day. Once in the morning and once before bed. My skin became brighter and it lessened the redness in my cheeks. It has a very pleasant light scent of lemons. I highly recommend this product! this stuff is very powerful it was brown when i put on cotton pad i wiped on my face and neck and i instantly felt a tingly feeling... well that is what my face does with anything citrusie.. i love how it gives my skin a certain glow... its a quicker way to get vitamin c to your skin than the actual vitamins... im really glad that i didnt breakout as well... i used both the serum and the toner... im definently hooked... i might have to hide this from my daughter...she might try to take it once she sees this review on my ig acct...lol

I am OBSESSED with K-Beauty and Korean Skincare. So i am so happy that i got to try this Vitamin C Toner and Serum! The vitamin C helps tighten, lighten, and brighten your skin and it’s PERFECT for any skincare regimen. I very much like the consistency of the products, they aren’t too thick or thin and are very pleasant to apply. It it slightly fragranced, but i cannot read the ingredients to see if there is any added fragrance, because it’s all in Korean. But I will be adding both of these products into my daily routine and suggest anyone who likes K-Beauty to give it a try!

I was specifically drawn to the new for me ingredient GALACTOMYCES which is not only a Moisturising agent but has antioxidant properties too. Although I did not see any changes in pore size or blackheads, but I could definitely experience how supple and hydrated my skin felt. Galactomyces has the ability to increase product absorption. It has been shown to improve sebum levels in oily skin, as well as brighten and tackle acne. I have been loving this duo in my skincare routine and hope to try more products with this effective ingredient in the future. These Vitamin C products come packaged in a dark bottles in order to protect it from light exposure and increase their longevity.

I have 2 vitamin C based product to review today from @somebymi : Galactomyces Pure Vitamin C Glow Serum 🍊- It’s a lightweight serum that absorbed quickly. It doesn’t feel tacky like many vitamin C serum does. I love incorporating vitamin C serum in the morning after toning my face. The one thing I don’t like about this product is the packaging. It came in a dropper bottle which is not ideal for vitamin C serum that oxidize quickly. That’s a shame considering how beautiful this serum is. Galactomyces Pure Vitamin C Glow Toner 💧- This toner has an impressive ingredients: 88% galactomyces and 10,000 ppm of pure vitamin C for brightening and smoothing agent. It has watery texture and pleasant light citrus scent. My skin seems to like this toner. I have sensitive skin but I do not notice any break out since I use this toner (and the serum). I love it!
