I’m From is a Korean skincare brand that uses the finest natural ingredients. They are known for looking to nature to find ingredients beneficial to our skin, from the cult-favourite I’m From Rice Toner to my personal favourite Mugwort Mask. I wasn’t sure what an essence was, so I did some research. An essence is a mixture that you apply to your skin. It penetrates deep — molecular and cellular level deep — to help reduce wrinkles and fine lines, and revitalize dull and uneven skin tones. It’s something you add to your skincare routine to give it a boost. I’ve used the I’m From Fig Boosting Essence for over a month now abs my skin is so much more hydrated. My skin time has evened out and I’ve received so many compliments lately. The figs in the mixture are what really makes this special! I was super happy to be picked for this campaign because essences are one of my favorite steps to skincare. though this one wasn't one of my all time favorites it wasn't my most hated either. The essence was a little bit more oily then I usually use. There wasn't a smell which was nice but I'm weird and like really good smelling skincare which some brands offer. I would rate this essence at 7/10 though it wasn't my favorite essence it wasn't the worst either. I did really like the packaging though it came in a really pretty box as well as a nice glass bottle. which I've heard is better for you then the normal plastic jars. So that's a plus. I plan on doing more research on the brand and I would love to try more of their products that they offer. @imfrom_global 's Fig boosting essence 150ml and good for all skin type, and did i mention its cruelty free? 🐰 . Details: It contains 62.7% Fig Extract which goes deep into the skin to moisturize skin better and help absorb the next layer of skincare you'd wanna put in (basically I'd use it right after I wash my face and 1st step of my whole routine). It also has NMF Peptide and Amino Acid, that helps your skin have a moisture barrier to fight aging and offers anti oxidant effects. Last but not the least, my favorite, it has betaine salicylate which is gentler than BHA so basically it gives a little push of exfoliation to your skin without damaging it (since it's very very mild). . Thoughts: Light weight water like, easily absorbed but lingers a very little bit of stickiness which id say "the proof of hydration" haha! It's like your first treatment essence since it helps your skin absorb the next few steps better. It also doesn't have scent, it's the only one in the line that is fragrance free (they have a cleansing Balm and a scrub mask which id LOVE to try as well) . Im really into the essence and if I may just say, I love LOOVE how @imfrom_official from always concentrates on a single ingredient every line. And TBH, every ingredient they concentrate on is something I don't expect so much, but are always just mind blowing and exceeds my expectations (ex: fig, mugwort and ginseng) so if you're into specific types of ingredient, do check them out especially this essence!

I'M FROM Fig Boosting Essence Fig essence that contains 62.7% Fig Extract (fruit extract) to moisturize and enrich your skin. I find it very moisturizing on my skin. It is lightly scented (do not bother my sensitive skin and nose) with texture of a little bit thicker than water. It leaves my skin super hydrated and supple. It also gives my skin glow and leaves delicate occlusive film on the skin, which I really like. Fig Extract is excellent antioxidant, prevent water loss from skin plus Polyphenols can help reverse signs of aging like sun spots, fine lines, and wrinkles! I’m from is new brand for me, that I recently tried and so far all products seams work so well on my skin. I was able to try the whole Fig Line and the Toner is my top fav within 3 products (Cleansing Balm and Scrub Mask). Like the Fig line a lot 💜

I am a fan of K-beauty and skincare. And this product is no exceptance. It is so smooth that it glides onto your skin so gently. This is free from harmful fragrances. I felt like the texture is like rice water with little bit of stickyness but not greasy at all after you apply it on the skin. Most important part is that it is hydrating and moisturizing. I tried this for couple of weeks and my skin felt so soft and radiant.I use it right after washing my face and neck before applying moisturiser. I apply it using my cottonpad. I like that it has fig and other fruit ingredients and glycerin which is very benefitial for the skin. Just a little is enough to apply and the amount of product in the bottle is pretty good. I highly recommend this product for your skincare routine.

Fig Boosting Essence 💕 I’m finally writing this review after maybe a couple of weeks of using this. I wanted to give it some time after receiving it from @0.8l_singapore and @wishtrend. I’ll be honest, I was just ITCHINGGGG to get the whole series because the packaging colour is just absolute goals. It’s been sold out quite a bit on their online platforms but I was fortunate enough to get ahold of this to review. The essence boasts 62.7% fig extract to provide an antioxidant boost and deeply penetrating moisture. NMF peptides and amino acids hydrate while creating a moisture barrier. The polyphenol rich essence also helps to boost the absorption of the next skincare step. I would agree that this essence is really moisturising and does leave a silky, slightly oily barrier. I do love my first essences, but I find this a little much for a first step. I would usually go in with something lighter after my toner as this is slightly more viscous than the average first essence. It really does shorten my routine though as it really packs a hydrating punch to my skin. It absorbs pretty quickly and doesn’t have have a scent. I don’t find this the best product for very hot days because it jsut feels a little heavy, but yay it’s been raining these few days so I’ve been layering it a little. I believe that it might actually be better suited to dry/ mature as opposed to dehydrated skin because it gives the skin a slight plump and glow. This retails for USD35 on Wishtrend for 150ml which is pretty affordable in my opinion, and about the average price range for @imfrom_official products which are usually well loved.💕 I am considering getting the balm though I’m aware there are mixed reviews. Can’t resist the solid packaging they use though!

Fig Boosting Essence works on several levels. At first glance it is an astringent, but it also has exfoliating and softening properties. I have enjoyed using this product underneath my moisturizer and makeup as I feel that it gives me a blank slate to work with every morning. There isn’t a harsh smell to the product which can sometimes be the case with other astringents. It barely has a scent at all. I highly recommend it!

🔷The first time I used this was at night and I woke up the next morning with whiteheads on my chin. I never get whiteheads in my chin ever. There were three of them and they got worse before they got better. They got bigger and actually. started to hurt. It took about five days to clear up.🔷 🌼The essence is very sticky which I don't like. It doesn't have a fragrance to it which is good. The bottle is 150ml or 5.3oz and retails for $35. The bottle is very nice and fancy and it is a pretty large bottle. Since a little goes a long way the price would be justified if the product worked for me unfortunately it didn't.🌼 💠I have oily/sensitive skin. Please keep in mind that everyone is different. For someone that has a different skin type this may work great. I’m From Fig Boosting Essence is a free try for a honest opinion. I was picked to try this product for free. I don’t smell any scent to it. This product is all right but I really don’t like the bottle it came in. The bottle is more for toners. It doesn’t come out quickly or very easily. I wish it was more in a pump feature. It might come out easier.

This is another brand that I never would have known about if not for 08liter. I was really looking to trying this because I love essences and I imagined this would smell great and leave my skin soft. As far as scent goes, there is very little to none found in this essence. The bottle is quite large, so this essence should last a really long time. It had a very watery feel, so it absorbed very easily into my skin. While it felt so good while being applied and getting soaked into the skin, I noticed whiteheads appearing on my chin and around my nose the morning after first using this. I’ve had this happen with some other products before, and realize that this can be normal as your skin tries to acclimate to a new product. What I didn’t expect was for the problem to get worse. And worse. And worse. After a week and a half, I went back to one of my essences that I regularly use and the problem went away almost immediately. I waited 5 days before trying this essence again, but once again I had whiteheads develop within 12 hours after application. Every day, the problem got worse and after 10 more days of use I threw in the towel on this one. I know that any changes to a skincare routine are likely to briefly cause skin to get slightly worse before getting better so I’m okay with that. However, it did not seem like this problem was getting any better with continued use of the essence. I can only say based on my outcomes that this product is not a good one for my skin. Since the adding of this product was the only change in my skincare routine, I have to assume that this essence is what caused my breakouts. I’m not planning on purchasing it again, and won’t recommend it to others based on my experience.

I have been using this for a little over a week at nights. I use this prior to my moisturizer. With that being said, I have been seeing it add additional hydration. My skin does feel soft but this product kind of felt short for me. It doesn't add any added benefit in my personal opinion. Hydration is nice for dry skin like mine but nothing that I would go and spend my money on in the future. This product does have very nice packaging and no scent, but overall it's a pass for me.

There is a nice balance of moisture when applied on the skin, so it’s practically a toner. I especially like the minimal scent but because of the fig ingredient, I was hesitant about it being too fruity. Thankfully it doesn’t smell fruity at all. . 🤔Reflect & Conclusion: Aesthetically I love the plum color and glass bottle. The bottle is durable, a bit heavy, and dispenses the product evenly. I prefer to use my hands with toner/essence type products so this texture worked well for me. Since it’s summer I don’t layer too much product however I think it would work to layer more during the colder months or if you have drier skin. I love the milky color and texture. The finish leans a bit dewy but it absorbs well into the skin without stickiness. I didn’t experience any irritations or negative reactions. . In the short amount of time I’ve been using this essence, I can conclude that I like it. I’m curious about the rest of the fig products especially the cleansing balm. I'm From Fig Boosting Essence has 62.7% of fig extract for moisturizing deep layers of the skin. It helps boost the skin to absorb other skincare products after using the essence. It has NMF peptide and amino acids to help the moisture barrier and anti-aging properties. The essence does no have any scent and basically is scent less. My skin feels hydrated with the essence and has a watery feel to my skin. The essence has no sticky residue or heaviness. I like to use this during the day since it is lightweight and help absorb my moisturizer with it. I notice an improvement in my skin because my skin did not feel tight or dry and actually help with my oily skin from producing more oil. I give this a 10/10.

I’ve recently been using a couple new products from @imfrom_global, and they continue to impress! I’m From has become one of my favorite brands the more I try from them. Their Rice Toner was the first thing I tried from them and I instantly fell in love with it. Since then, I’ve tried a variety of their other products, and they’re always lovely! When I had the opportunity to try some products from their new Fig line, it wasn’t even a question. The Fig Cleansing Balm melts quickly and does a great job of removing my makeup. It has a fresh, light scent that is pretty mild, but enough to be refreshing. A little of this balm goes a long way as well, which I always appreciate in my skincare! I love a balm that melts quickly without leaving chunks in it, so this has worked its way up my list of favorites very quickly. The Fig Boosting Essence is the other product I’ve been trying. Essences are one of those steps that I don’t feel like I necessarily NEED, but I do enjoy. That being said, I really like this essence! It feels very hydrating on my skin, and leaves me with a nice glow (but not TOO glowy). It was very hydrating and quickly absorbed into my akin. After using the product for 2 weeks, I have noticed my skin is much more radiant and youthful looking. It also has a light- pleasant scent. First off, I'm really thankful to have received this product to try out. I'm always a fan of Korean made skincare products that are cruelty free and safe for sensitive skin, so "I'm From Fig Boosting Essence" was a nice breath of fresh air for my skin during these weathered times. I honestly watched a few videos and read some product reviews prior to trying this product out just so I'd know what to possibly expect while using it and what the results could be. Let's just say, I was not disappointed after my first try! What I loved most about this product was the fact that it did not feel sticky on my skin. The formula itself is liquid and comes out in drops. You can use your hands or a cotton pad to apply this to your skin after cleansing/toning. For me, I prefer to pat this all over my face and neck. I kid you not, the following morning, my skin felt supple and hydrated. I believe adding this to my skincare routine helped out a whole lot to give my skina moisturized finish. Another thing I like about this is that it is fragrance free. There's no smell whatsoever and at first, I thought it would smell like fig, but I actually appreciate the simplicity of this formula and bottle. This essence contains 62.7% Fig Extract which penetrates deep into the skin to work its' magic. It's soothing and hydrating which was noticeable after only a one day of using. This has now become a holy grail of mine that doesn't break me out. In fact, I had an acne breakout before using this product and the products I was using to help with the acne was drying out my skin. When I added the essence to my skincare routine, it helped decrease the redness and dryness from the acne products. This has truly been a life saver!

This essence is quite nice though to be honest I did not notice any changes to my skin while using it. However, packaging is sleek and it has a very faint scent which is great for sensitive skin. I put a little on my hands and pat it on to my skin, it drys fairly quickly. It’s super easy to use and I really don’t have anything negative to say. Hopefully others will have better luck because it’s definitely worth trying to find out.
