I had mixed feelings with this sunscreen from klairs. It is very lightweight on the skin and does seem to absorb into the skin very nicely. The only issue I have is that after a period of time it starts to sort of form these particles on your face. Almost like when you use a gommage peel. It honestly is pretty hard to describe but I’m doing my best lol. My recommendation for this problem would be to use as little as possible ( don’t over apply) and also wear this product by itself ( don’t wear under makeup ). The first time I used this sunscreen I applied a layer of foundation over my skin and ultimately ended up washing it off because it wouldn’t lay correctly on my skin. Especially considering all the blending it ends up forming those particles i was talking about. This sunscreen contains SPF 50, zinc dioxide, titanium dioxide, and guaiazulene ( which helps calm skin ). So I mean it is pretty good along the lines of sun protection. It states that it has a semi-matte finish but in my opinion my skin looked more glossy than matte. I have combination skin and it says that it is recommended for combination and oily skin. Personally I found this sunscreen to be a bit on the oily side but that is my personal experience it might work differently for others. I’m not trying to come off like I’m bashing this product that surely is not my intention. I just wanted to provide my honest feedback. I hope it helps...

[Review] Klairs Mid Day Blue UV Shield SPF 50 PA++++ —— 🔵 [An Unexpected Favorite] Last time I tried a mineral sunscreen, my skin got so dry that I had to wash it off soon after. I was hesitant to try this sunscreen from @klairs_global, but was willing to give it a chance given how much I loved the Airy UV Essence from the same company. And I am so glad I did! This is definitely the best mineral or physical sunscreen I’ve used. —— 🔵 [Perfect for Summer] This sunscreen has a texture similar to the Airy UV Essence. It takes a bit of effort to work the product onto on my skin, but nothing too bothersome. For those who worry about the white cast, this sunscreen does leave a slight white cast. For me, it creates more of a tone-up effect that rather evens out my skin and I love that. Though the slight white cast could be more prominent for people with darker skin tones. —— 🔵 [Not Over-drying] Physical sunscreens are known for their drying effect. This sunscreen is slightly drying, but not overpowering. In fact, it perfectly balances out my overactive oily t-zone. I do experience slight dryness around my cheeks, but that can be easily taken care of with a hydrating spray during the day. —— 🔵 [For Those with Oily Skin] This sunscreen is designed with oily skin type in mind. I think it’s worth a try if you have oily skin. If you have dry skin, then the Klairs Airy UV Essence might be a better option.

Says Klairs, "It's blue o'clock somewhere." Yep, I couldn't agree more! I apply SPF every morning, every day of the year, and hopefully this great blue goop will help remind me to reapply during the day, too. This is a physical sunscreen, which means that it sits on top of the skin to block UV rays, rather than being absorbed into the skin. I prefer physical sunscreens, and find they work better. The only downside can be if they leave a residue or a white cast on the skin. Being blue, this does not do that. The color actually helps color-correct the skin a little bit, cancelling out some redness. It is SPF 50, which is my go-to although I like to augment with a slightly higher SPF if I'm going to spend a lot of time in the sun. The formula itself is soothing, almost cooling, when applied and doesn't leave my skin greasy. It's a fairly thin cream, so it goes on evenly, and seems great for combination skin because it hydrates drier areas without adding oil to oilier areas. It actually leaves a slightly matte finish. The primary ingredient here is Guaiazulene. According to Klairs, Guaiazulene is a dark violet on it’s own, but imparts a soft blue hue to lotions. Guaiazulene has also been shown to be "anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antispasmodic, antibacterial, antipyretic, ulcer-protective, and antifungal." "Also known as ‘azulene’, this ingredient’s roots reach back to the 15th century, when it was first isolated from a German chamomile herb, still the most common source of guaiazulene today..." This is the same ingredient that features in the rest of Klairs' Blue Line. The Mid-Day Blue UV Shield contains 0.03% concentrate of guaiazulene to help fight inflammation and redness. This makes it great for all skin types, including sensitive or acne prone skin. Overall, I was really impressed with this sunscreen and plan to have it be my daily SPF once my current product is gone. The retail price of this sunscreen is around $23, but I was able to try it at a reduced cost thanks to @wishtrendglobal @klairs.global and @0.8l_usa

This is not my 1st Klairs Mid Day Blue sunscreen as I was using the Klairs Mid Day Blue lotion which was later discontinued about 2 years ago. Was really disappointed and tried looking for a replacement but nothing was on par to it! So I was over the moon when I found out Wishtrend have decided to relaunched it! The Klairs Mid Day Blue Shield is a lightweight, hydrating and gentle on sensitive skin sunscreen. It has a lotion texture, leaves a semi-matte finish and surprisingly great for Singapore’s hot and humid weather. The previous version was creamier and doubles a makeup base which this doesn’t. The shield does not leave any white cast on skin and the pale blue sunscreen calms and balances any redness on your skin. It’a great overall! Thank you for bringing this back!

This is Klairs bluse UV shield, the vegan friendly formula protects your skin whit SPF 50+ PA ++++. This cream doesn’t get absorb into the skin and does not cause irritations. Its formula, makes your skin very fresh, light and provides calming effect. This UV shield lotion comes in blue color, but when applied into my skin it didn’t turn my skin blue. My skin had a natural shinny glow after the distribution of the lotion into my face and neck. The consistency of the lotion is very light and smooth and doesn’t leave any residues in my face. The cream smells like baby powder, perfectly for the upcoming summer. I applied it a tiny amount of the lotion after cleaning my face. At all times I felt perfectly fine, I didn’t get any allergies or felt itchy at all. ✨Klairs Mid Day Blue UX Shield✨ Even though I have been staying home all day for the past few months, sunblock is one of the things that I still consistently make an effort to apply! (Hopefully you guys are still applying your sunblock daily!) I love how this product doesn’t give much white cast (unlike most other sunblock that I used previously!) but it still gives you a slightly glow, thus making your skin look healthy and dewy! ☺️💓 Would definitely consider repurchasing it in the future when I finish up this tube! ☺️

Having a oily combination skin make me very particular in selecting my skin care product. Because I won’t want my face become oily shinny during the day, especially we are out there for work or fun. When I first tried Klairs Mid Day Blue UV Shield on my hand, I thought it gonna make my face looks oily, because I felt it a bit too moisture to put on my face. After a few try on my face, it surprise me that it won’t make my face become oily after a whole day. I feel comfortable applying it on my face and not sticky.

The sunscreen is lightweight and really pleasant to apply. This sunscreen is perfect for those who are sensitive with chemical sunscreen because this one is using mineral UV filter such as titanium dioxide & zinc oxide. I am pleasantly surprised that it absolutely leaves no white residue like the many mineral sunscreen does. It’s lightweight and not greasy. The sunscreen has blue tint on it but it disappears upon rubbing on the skin. I highly recommend this sunscreen!

Suncare is part of the Anti Aging skincare! Very amaze of how this mid day blue UV shield kept my skin looking matte. The texture is so good! It’s so smooth, buttery type and yet blend well off my skin. Its absorbs into my skin very fast and left my skin fresh!

It's a gentle, non-irritant and physical sunscreen that reflects UV rays on the surface by creating a protective barrier. It is contains guaiazulene to helps soothes the skin. I have been using this daily since I received it and it has a refreshing light fragrance which sits nicely under my make up. Furthermore, the sunscreen does not clump together when I apply my foundation. I did not experience any discomfort when using this product. It suits my oily skin well with its semi matte finish. However, if I apply this product on its own without any make up, I can see the obvious white tone-up. This is what I don't really fancy in a sunscreen, as it is quite prominent in my medium skin tone. This product suits those with a lighter skin tone than me and similarly, for users who do not mind a light tone-up effect after using the sunscreen. It is a water-based sunscreen that is non-sticky, light, and fresh with a soft, weightless finish. Also with its high SPF and PA level, it completely guards the skin against UVA and UVB rays without leaving any greasiness or white cast. The sunscreen itself is housed in a large, soft, squeeze tube with a small nozzle tip (perfect for controlling how much product you dispense) and a silver twist-off cap. It was pretty smooth and easy to apply. At first, you think it won’t sink in but then it absorbs very quickly, leaving an imperceptible, satin to semi-matte finish. Back with another klairs product! I’m in love with this sunscreen. It is non-oily and the texture is not too thick on my face. Although the texture can not compare to my favourite sunscreen, Biore watery Essence, I think it’s a good product worth the price. Not sure if I will buy it again but will continue to use it.

Klairs Mid Day Blue UV Shield This is a non-irritant physical sunscreen which claims to be hydrating, lightweight, and gentle on all skin types. It also contains guaiazulene which helps to calm the skin. After using this for a few days, I find that this sunscreen does what it promises. It is rather lightweight with a non-sticky finish, which is great for my oily skin. It also does not leave a white cast on the skin. As these two are the most important traits in a sunscreen for me, am looking forward to continue using this sunscreen.
