People who knows me, I seldom put on make up. If there’s a need for minimal make up, it will always be lip gloss, lip tint or lipstick. I can’t resist beautiful lip colours but I tend to buy more than what I apply... 😅 I usually go for glossy lipstick as my lips are dry by nature. But looking at the 20 beautiful lip colours that @seldcoding.official offers, I find myself hard to resist trying. Had a hard time selecting the colour and decided to go for no. 16 Picnic for a change which seems to be of orangey tone on the website. Quite surprise to see the actual product turns out to be bright pink. The colour is actually closer to the shade in pic 2 probably due to lighting issues. I usually resisted bright lip colour as I prefer to be as natural as possible when putting on make up. For once, I don’t mind the bright pink as it seems to brighten up my look. The formula is rich with coconut oil, avocado oil, rose hip oil and jojoba that help to keep your lips nourished, unlike other matte lipstick which tend to cause my lips to be very dry. The doe foot applicator makes it easy to apply onto the lips. The colour is very rich and intense even with just a thin layer of application. It comes with a velvety matte finishing and the colour is pretty lasting too, even after a meal, the lip colour is still there. Love the frosted glass bottle packaging which is so minimalistic. After trying the Self-coding Code Crush Matte Liquid Lipstick, it changed my view of matte lipstick, I’ll be more open to try matte lipstick but will take a closer look at the ingredients.

Team Matte or Team Glossy? Lipstick is probably our least worn makeup nowadays due to 😷. There are few that actually can withstand the test of not rubbing off face masks. And I've pleased to have tried and tested @selfcoding.official CODE : CRUSH Matte Liquid Lipstick to be one of these! Another k-beauty to look out for, I find the liquid lipstick easy to apply with its in-built doe applicator. The formula is rich, smooth, and glides on well with good control, and dries off in a matte, smooth, vivid finish. Feathery light on the lips, I don't feel my lips dry or cracked as with some matte lipsticks I've tried. I'm usually skeptical of lipsticks promising to be long wearing, after all, not many last long enough! But here's me after a bowl of dry truffle ramen (oily), a shared slice of mille crepe (lip smacking yummy cake) and a cuppa matcha latte (more lip licking), mask on and off in-between (nope, nothing on the mask) - lips colour still intact, fresh and vivid! I love makeup! Although now we are mostly covered from our nose onwards! I still make it a point to put on light makeup as they make me feel more confident of myself. Self-coding Code Crush Matt Liquid lipstick is more like a lip tint, which contains coconut oil, avocado oil and rose hip oil! No wonder it feels nourishing even when i had it on for half a day! The colours are also very intense, giving you a matt finish, despite only applying a small layer. There are 20 colours to choose from and in case you are wondering, I am wearing the Nostagic shade which is a peachy nude colour. I also like its small dainty packaging making it easy to keep & to bring out. 💋

Looks like I have found my perfect 'My Lips But Better' (MLBB) shade with this @selfcoding.official Code Crush Matte Liquid Lipstick. The colour is so wearable that it makes me look put together without overdoing it. No idea why the shade looks reddish/pinkish in the next 2 pictures though - it actually looks closer to the shade in the first picture. The Matte Liquid Lipstick appears creamy and glossy when applied, but dries to a matte and long-lasting finish. If you have dry lips and are worried about the lipstick falling in between the cracks of your lips, apply a thin layer of lip balm first. I never used to like matte lipsticks, but since this feels so comfortable, velvety smooth and non-drying on my lips, I'm gonna be more open to using matte lipsticks again! And I really love it! The shade is so pretty, and it coat my lips fully with one instant swipe! This Soft matte texture lipstick is very moisturizing, non drying, very light and comfortable even when worn for hours. This lipstick is pretty long lasting as well! I always love to try out new lipsticks, so I was excited to be given an opportunity to test out a matte liquid lipstick from a new Korean brand called SelfCoding.⁣ ⁣ The packaging of the lipstick is very minimalist, which I absolutely love. The shade I picked up was Sienna. It turned out to be a bit darker that what I was expecting but still a good neutral. ⁣ ⁣ The lipstick is very pigmented as you can see from my swatch on the next page. I found the formula to be lightweight and a soft matte. It does transfer a bit initially but I would say this is still a long lasting formula. It does have a faint smell which I am personally not very fond off. Overall a good one if you are still into liquid lipstick.⁣ ⁣
