First Impression: (PACKAGING) 🖤 It comes in a simple black and white box. 🖤 The packaging comes with mostly Korean wordings, so no English directions for me. I need to research on how to properly use this product. 🖤 The packaging also indicate awards received in the past years such as Editor's pick, Powder Room beauty award etc. which I think is also important and gives me that "extra confidence" to try this new product on my hair. 🖤 With protection sticker seal. 🖤 24 months expiration date upon opening. PRODUCT 🖤 Both protein shampoo and protein treatment have the same nice smell. 🖤 Mise en scène Protein shampoo is so foamy so a small amount goes a long way. 🖤 Mise en scène Protein Treatment requires 20 minutes under a shower cap (according to the blog I've read) before washing it off, so yeah I need extra time every bathtime. And despite that I have a short hair, the protein treatment is not enough to last for 14 days since I have very thick mane. VERDICT 🖤 Salon technology indeed! Before I use this mise en scènce re:bond Protein Shampoo & Treatment 14 Days Special Kit I always do have a bad hair day,my tresses seem so stressed, unmanageable and frizzy. But now my hair has more life, becomes more shiny, and the texture also improves. My hairfall also minimize and I feel that every strands is now stronger and not prone to any breakage as before. I usually have my hair rebonded by a professional once a month bcos I absolutely hate spending much time and effort into doing my hair. I'm alr spending so much time applying skincare and makeup before rushing off. I rather spend whatever time left sleeping in than fussing over my hair. Rebonding has given me that extra snooze time, but unfortunately, due to the current pandemic situation, I didn't have the chance to do so this year. Lol, such a sucker for marketing! 🙄 Oh wells, no harm trying if this claims to help my dry and frizzy hair right? So try I did. And here are my overall thoughts on them so far 💭 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐨 Not quite sure if I like it. I have really sensitive and dry scalp and so far only baby shampoo has been working well for my scalp. Once or twice a week, I'll use a normal shampoo to clarify my scalp bcos baby shampoos just doesn't cut it for that. I've been using this continuously for the past 10 days and it doesn't irritate my scalp that much compared to other normal shampoos. So that's a plus. I see this shampoo as a good substitute for that once a week deep cleanse. 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 Still can't decide if this works or just another gimmicky product? I do see a slight, very very slight improvement to the overall texture and condition of my hair so I guess it is working? It's free from silicones so I knw it's not silicones that's making my hair feels silky. Good to be used to maintain the condition of your hair after you've professionally treated it I guess. Will I purchase this for myself? Nahh, I don't think so. I still prefer to just get it done professionally once a year and then not have to fuss over it anymore. I'm lazy. I like things fuss free. 😂 But I do think it is a good maintenance duo tho. I am a girl who washes her hair very late at night, which means I have to use a hair dryer very often that makes my hair feel very dry and frizzy all the time.
