I received a Portable Electric Immersion Water Heater complimentary from KD Heater and 08liter in exchange for my honest review. I had to test this product in my bathtub, as I do not own an aquarium/5 gallon tank, and it does a superb job of heating 5-10 gallons of water, and maintaining whatever temperature you desire. It took less than 5 minutes to heat the water in the tub to steaming. I will be doing further testing of this product in the spring, when my grandchildren are ready to get in the pool again, as I feel this device would very effectively knock the chill off the water in their wading pool. *Do NOT leave this device unattended, and do NOT turn it on unless submerged.

I am impressed with the mass of the unit. The heating element is massive. It’s heavy and substantial and there is a protective cover. Super easy to use excellent durability.  I don't think I would spend the money just to have it on hand. Although the idea is great. . . Received free in exchange for my honest opinion.

This Portable Electric Immersion Water Heater would be ideal for camping situations. Since it is not camping season currently, I tested it on some fresh fallen snow to see if it would melt away the snow. The cord on the heater is long, which is nice. The temperature control has a wide range to choose from. within a couple of minutes, this unit heated up quick. This is quite durable and small enough to pack for camping, but big enough to heat what you need heated.

This is fully submersible and heats plain water, salt water, solutions, chemicals and more. It has a temperature control system (automatically shuts off when it reaches desired temperature and turns on if temperature drops). I tested this in the bathtub, fully expecting to get electrocuted. This was very simple and straightforward to use. It does heat up, but takes a while to get to the desired temperature. It is meant for 5 gallons or less, but is capable of heating larger amounts. The second photo is the water temperature before it was turned on, and the last photo is approximately 25 minutes later. The heat setting was 104°F. I feel indifferent about it because it is only for smaller amounts of liquid and I don’t have much use for it other than keeping the bath warm. I don’t hate it though. 🤷🏻‍♀️
