The idea for the app, Newfane is great. It has potential to be a fun photo editing tool. However, when I tried using the app, I just kept running into glitches, especially with trying different types of photos & saving my results.

Well, this app is free to download but you can basically do just 1 pic before they start charging you $3.99 for only a week of use. You can also choose to pay $29.99 for one year. It is a fun app to play with but honestly I don’t see the need to pay for only make gifs, maybe for a kid will be a lot of fun, but there’s also more apps that are free and you can do the same think. I wish I knew before I took that picture that I will only be one and I would have take a better one or try to change the filters for that same picture, that was the only one for free. If you are looking for an app where you play around with your face and make fun gifs, go for it. I think it will be a better deal the $40 a year, even if you don’t use the app as much.

The Newface emoji phone application is fun to use. It’s crazy to see how technology can take a still photograph and turn it into a moving video. I won’t be making any purchases though because there are better apps out there.

I was chosen to try the Newface emoji app from .08L. I would have liked the opportunity to really try this Newface emoji app, however this was not a free try as advertised. In order to have access to all the different content in this app there is a charge. I was not really impressed with the sample version of this program that I was able to try, and I probably wouldn’t recommend anyone pay for this unfortunately. This app takes your photos or selfies and uses them to create different emoji’s through different templates. This is nice, but not exactly a new idea. I made one of these emojis with my picture, and it was good. I wish I was able to play around with this a little bit more, but even then, I am not sure how thrilled I would be with it.
