I tried the Newface app for the first time. The installation was quick and the app loaded quickly. I am using iPhone 8. It did not take much time to get used to the functioning of the app, the steps are pretty straightforward. STEP 1: Choose a photo of anyone (your own closeup photo works best like a passport photo). If you want to just try out the app first then just select any of the sample celebrity photos shown in the screen. STEP 2: Choose a celebrity video from the ones shown which are quick 3-5 second clips showing the celebrity in action. There is no option to select any custom video here STEP 3: Wait for the magic to happen and the selections to be processed. Viola! Your you photo has now come to life and does the exact same action that the video of celebrity you selected. Super fun indeed. Now either you can share the video by adding additional description and tags on social media through the app's share button or simply download and save the video to share later. The app is indeed fun to use and create content which will be liked by everyone but here are some of the points where it failed: 1. The share options do not have Instagram available. 2. The final video looks artificial to a good extent. It would have been better if the morphed video looked more natural. 3. The selection of celebrity videos to choose for the magic is very limited and there is no custom option available too. This means that the user will get bored after creating some videos soon since there will not be anything new to create. Overall it's a fun app to use and good way to kill time when taking a break to post content on your social media.

this app is fun for about ten minutes and then it gets boring. It doesn't give enough options for the voice clips and doesn't respond well when I try to upload my own. Plus, it should have the option to be able to post a single video instead of the split screen on every post. Maybe if the split screen did different parts of a conversation the split screen would look better.

I was extremely excited about this app, because animations are a huge thing in most social medias right now but the whole thing is a flop. I couldn't access the app properly, the actions were limited & when I went to animate my (photo + video = result) it just made the whole app crash. At the moment, they need to improve on functionality than upgrades. The app is buggy, to put it simple. The animations I did see (those on the front page!) were very glitchy & of horrible quality. I definitely don't see myself using this outside of just this review. 3/5 and honestly, the 3 stars are pretty generous on my part!

It’s a app that is face swap that can give you endless and fun ways to create content. You can use still photos, doodle drawings , realistic paintings , family members and friends! This Newface app is fun to play around with , each time the content gives you a laugh. It’s fun to see what content you can come up with next . I do have a issue with the loading time for the videos , sometimes the loading would get stuck and not work . If this would fixed, I would totally love the app . The app has lots of characters that you can use or you can use others content that have been posted . This app needs work, bt is fun to use as is. There aren’t many directions on how to use & the content is limited. As I said earlier, I’d like to see regular animal pics to work w app & I do know some may be skeptical giving their images to this kind of app. We live in a strange world these days & tech is getting more amazing by the day. I’d like to know what they do w the info they get, is it safe? I’ve enjoyed using the app & sorry I’m a bit late w my review. It’s fun if you have some spare time. I look forward to seeing it improve.

Okay, I'm going to be honest upfront. I only used the App a few times to test it out. I just don't enjoy this kind of thing, personally. The quality of the clips that are created just looked too fake for me. My clips glitch all over the place when I used it. Maybe I was using the wrong type of pictures or something but I'm not sure. The Apps design is great. It's easy to sign up and navigate. I did really like how I didn't have to give out any personal information. All I had to do was create a username. You can add your email address but that was optional. If you like creating content like this then the App will be much more enjoyable for you. It's basically an App that takes one picture of your choice and mixes it with a video clip. It made my picture of me look like I was singing but the quality wasn't that great. So all in all the App could be a fun tool for certain types of content creators or just someone that is into that kinda thing. I still definitely recommend it.

the new face app is definitely something new I've never seen it before it's interesting it's funny and comical I think it's pretty cool that you can use your own face or someone else's I think it might be better though if you could write down what you want the two faces to say and not be stuck with only picking out what the app offers them to say it's also more of a game type of thing and I wouldn't waste a lot of time on it someone who has a busy schedule this might be just something to mess around with for a few minutes but then again it might be really great for kids and teenagers would probably love this

So I would have to give this Newface app a 4 out of 5 stars. It's a free app that y'all can download right now. So I'm glad it's free, but it definitely has room for improvement. So basically what newface does is take a picture of a face and mix it with a trending video to create something new. I was super excited about being able to use my sugargliders pictures or my bunny or even pictures of my mom's dogs. Unfortunately after so many failed attempts and errors I gave up. I mean I feel like I tried at least 20 or so times because I really wanted a cute trending video of them. I wish the app could detect their faces because that would be amazing. I would have 100% gave this app 5 stars if it could have done that. Even if there was glitches or bugs or something like that, I would have overlooked that for the most part to have that feature. So not only does this app not work well with my animals face pictures, but I wish the pairing with the picture and the video was more in sync. I know if those two things were improved, this app would be so much better. At the end of the day, I still like this free app, and it's still fun. I actually initially thought it was going to transform my face into another face like a famous movie star or something. As if I was starring in a movie or something like that, but that's definitely not this type of app. I ended up choosing a video of Julia Roberts doing her famous scene from Notting Hill. The video mixed with my picture is a tiny bit creepy, but I still like it. What do y'all think? Are y'all going to download this free app?

My 7 and 5 years old had more fun than me using the app. They found the videos hilarious but to be it was low quality. It is not something I would really use unless we can add some text or stickers on the videos to share with friends. (I am not talking about caption under the video).

I really enjoyed playing with the different faces and checking out the video choices. It works way too well. Some of the video clips are creepy and you come out very creepy. The sweet ones are moving and the funny ones are hysterical. I love seeing what other users created. There are so many fun and funny things that others have thought of.
