Cica Green Cleanser

This is my first time using a cica product and I have to say that I’m thoroughly impressed with this cleanser. My dry skin really loves it and it keeps my skin hydrated. There isn’t a strong scent which is a plus. It lathers so good too. Definitely recommend

This cleanser is the first step of using XYCOS's Cica Green skincare line that is meant to help soothe and calm sensitive skin and help control sebum production. It has a clear, gel-like consistency and creates very little sudsing. It left areas of my combination skin craving for the next steps in the skincare routine to add moisture back, because although my face and T-zone felt very clean, my cheeks were left parched and felt stripped of all moisture. My face definitely felt clean and firmer but needed to be rehydrated. Overall, I would recommend this cleanser for those with oily skin that need to control oil production but should also to be sure that they follow up with the serum and cream to add back moisture to rehydrate and protect their skin barrier.

I really liked the texture of this cleanser and the way that the cleanser was thick and useful. The cleanser did not leave any residue and was very calming, and I think this was from the Centella Asiatica

Xycos Cica Green Cleanser I received this cleanser at a discounted price in exchange for my review from @0.8l_usa This cleanser has a gel type texture. Formulated with Centella Asiatica, Spirulina & Avocado this cleanser gets rid of excess oil and cleanses skin of dirt and impurities without the squeaky feel. I did really enjoy this cleanser , it got the job done and didnt leave my skin feeling stripped but it's not my favorite cleanser though. Thank you for the chance to try this product!

This is a great cleanser for removing foundation/ facial makeup. XY COS Cica Green Cleanser has a slightly thick gel texture, lathers well and rinses off my face easily. It has an herbal scent and contains Lavender oil. I find that this cleanser removes completely all my foundation passing the white towel test. No foundation residue left behind! I do however find this cleanser to be a bit drying for my combination skin type and prefer to use it mainly as a makeup removing cleanser rather than a daily cleanser.

XYCOS Cica Green Cleanser Cleansing foam with centella, spirulina and avocado oil deeply cleanses pores from dirt and excess sebum, controls skin moisture and normalizes sebum production, providing intense and deep skin nourishment. I have sensitive and dry skin and I used that cleanser everyday in the evening. It does not dry my skin, and it does not sensitize it. It feels like gel on skin, thick and foams just enough, it cleans skin throughly but it does not dry skin. I adore that texture. It cleans, it is gentle and it is not expensive. What more you would need. I got it from 08l.com as part their Try Now Campaign offering products for low cost of 3.99$ in return for your honest opinion.

So I would have to give this XYCOS Cica Green Cleanser a 5 out of 5 stars. 👍🏻 This cleanser will not blow you away, but it gets the job done for a pretty good price, and with great ingredients. I swear I have like a million different cleaners that I've hoarded throughout the years, but I always want more 😅. So I paid $3.99 for this on 08liter but it retails for $18. I think that's a pretty good price point for 4.05 fl oz. This cleanser didn't cause any redness or irritation. Even though there's no bad ingredients in it like sulfates, parabens, fragrance, this cleanser would probably not be best for super sensitive skin. There's lavender oil as the last ingredient, that doesn't effect my skin, but you can smell that it's in there. Even though it's naturally scented and I'm okay with that ingredient, I know some people are super sensitive to it. The ingredients list looks good to me with a bunch of great extracts including cucumber 🥒, avocado 🥑, centella asiatica, tea tree, green tea 🍵, rice bran 🍚, papaya fruit extract, etc. So I gave it the max of 5 stars because it does what I need it to do. It's a good second step in your double cleanse routine if you wear a lot of makeup. It cleanses my skin without stripping it and making it feel tight. My face felt nice and clean and refreshed. It suds up but not technically with a lot of bubbles. The gel turned white when I rubbed my hands together and washed my face. I've tried a lot of cleansers and I wouldn't necessarily say this my favorite, but I'm enjoying using it. I will keep using it until I'm finished. So this is definitely going to be an absolute no for me personally. I’m not even going to pretend I liked this XY*COS Cica Green Cleanser (which is the Vegan line from manufacturer NOKSIBCHO COSMETIC CO that also owns The Skin House & the very similar brand that looks like COSRX but is instead called COXIR) because the overwhelming scent of that god awful Lavender was another level of wtf and I usually prefer fragranced products. Even though this brand is marketed as being “fragrance free” it is without a doubt “naturally” scented with a concentration of Lavender that caused an instant headache while seeming like that scent wasn’t ever going to fade away. I have 3 other products from this brand’s Cica line that I recently received that I will also be posting in the future and when a brand puts a sticker of the “new” ingredients over the original that has the lavender omitted, but, you can still straight smell that lavender…that is a serious issue that I find to be, well, pretty damn shady. If the fragrance, bc that’s what it is…it is absolutely so concentrated it smells like perfume (I had my other half smell it and he said it smelled like straight essential oil), if it wasn’t so strong this wouldn’t be such a bad cleanser. It arrived in plastic wrap & still had a safety seal. The format was rather thick, but, was more lightweight than heavy when applying & seemed almost a bit soapy. The lather was gentle, but, I couldn’t cleanse with this very long bc of the overwhelming smell. It would be great for a simple evening cleanse that didn’t require the removal of thick a thick SPF if you can handle the lavender. It is marketed as helping with decreased sebum production which it did actually show some improvement along my T-zone with the very very few times I sparingly used it, however, I did have some dryness occurring on the sides of my nose after removing. As far as the claims of forming a protective barrier to prevent water loss…after washing the cleanser off I didn’t feel any benefits of it preventing TEWL so this is definitely one I personally will not be giving a second glance at. If you would like to try it for yourself though it is available on Amazon for $18, however, if you’re not a fragrance or lavender fan you may want to skip this one.

The cleansing effect is on point definitely finally shrunk my pores after 2 days of use. Also a little bit goes a long way. All you need is a small drop in it will ladder up to cleanse your full face your neck and your chin. Perfect for a removing makeup also has a night so has a nice soft sweet scent notice my skin brightening up as well it's well it really cleans my pores extremely good product.

I apply an appropriate amount of cleanser to wet skin and create a light, foamy lather. The cleanser feels gentle and rinses clean. My skin feels refreshed and super clean. Also looks quite matte and a little brighter. No dry or tight sensation though. An overall solid and effective cleanser.

This is a gel cleanser that smells very very strongly of tea tree oil. I have fairly dry skin and most cleansers tend to dry my out even worse after cleansing.. this one certainly has drying capabilities. The scent, although it is natural, is also very overwhelming. I definitely can’t see myself using this as a regular cleanser. Too strong for my skin.

The Cica Green Cleanser is an awesome gentle cleanser. It leaves the skin clean and soft. It makes a great lather and rinse easily. This cleanser contains Centella Asiatica, Spirulina and Avocado. It cleans away make up and impurities while protecting the skin hydration barrier. It doesn’t have a strong smell and it worked great on my oily- combination skin. After using this cleanser my skin felt clean and smooth. This cleanser doesn’t make the skin dry or flaky after use it for the contrary the skin feels hydrate and moisturized.

This was a very interesting cleanser. It has a jelly like texture but once a little water is added and rubbed in your palms it starts to foam and lather up. The cleanser is made Without / Paraben, propylene glycol, silicone, mineral oil, ethanolamines, sulfate, artificial fragrance, colour making it perfect for all skin types but expecially great for sensitive skin. My favorite claim of this cleanser is it is 100%Vegan and ABSOLUTELY No animal testing.

This cleanser has a gel-like texture and lathers into a foam easily. It is very gentle on the skin and and leaves my skin feeling clean, but not stripped. It also really leaves my skin feeling hydrated and seems to have some soothing properties. It has helped my sensitive, Rosacea-prone skin feel healthier and I really think it has been helping control my breakouts. It does have a fragrance to it, but it is not overpowering and it does not irritate my skin at all. Overall, I would recommend giving this product a try if you are looking for a good, soothing cleanser.
