I really like this Bakuchoil firming serum. I like having it as an alternative to retinol. My skin can be a little sensitive at times and retinol has made me break out at times. I do think it’s a lot more gentle and can be used by more skin types then retinol. I like using this Bakuchoil serum a few times a week.

I have use other neogen products and they never disappoint. I was really excited to try this serum. So since my current serum had finished it was the perfect time to integrate this in my routine. So I have been using it for several weeks in the morning and evening right after my toner. The lightweight formula absorbs very nicely on my skin without leaving any irritation or redness. I can definitely notice my skin texture with extra hydration and feeling very smooth. I have a very small double chin forming and it has helped reduce some of that sagginess and I also use a jade roller to massage the serum evenly. It has a very pleasant mild scent. I will definitely be using this until it's very last drop because it has shown to be effective for me.

I love NEO GEN brand so I was very excited to try this serum. I like that it’s very liquidy and fast absorbing. It is slightly sticky so to me it’s better suited for nighttime routine with thicker cream on top to eliminate the sticky feel. It has a dropper packaging which as you may know is not my favorite. Overall this is not my type of serum. I like milky consistency and pump packaging and this serum didn’t perform well enough on me to overlook these cons.

It comes in a beautiful frosted glass bottle and the serum has a beautiful lavender color. It has a light refreshing scent . This serum has a nice texture. Not to thick but not runny at all . When applied to my skin it absorbs quickly and gives my skin a beautiful glow . I’m scared of retinol serums but this one was very gentle and didn’t break my skin out or irritated it . My skin reacted to this really well and I’m happy about that. My skin feels so soft and looks glowy after using this serum together with my other skincare products. This is a nice retinol serum to try if you’re new to retinol. Would I repurchase this serum ? No because I want to try other brands and I have one or two in my stash to use up . I love getting the opportunity to discover brands and products that I didn’t know about 💜 👏👍. Skincare tip :- if a product don’t agree with your face you can always use it in a different part of your body 👌.

I do not have any sticky or oily residue & my skin has not shown any irritation or breakouts with this serum. I have used it with my Tret treatment at night & vitamin C products during the day, with no adverse reaction. This feels very cooling & refreshing on the skin & leaves my skin feeling very supple, smooth & hydrated. As far as the benefits of acting like a retinol, I have used other bakuchiol products before & I have to say, it is nothing like retinol. This has a lot of great ingredients in it and bakuchiol is a fantastic antioxidant, promoting collagen production & skin renewal. Neogen Dermalogy Real Bakuchiol Firming Serum is a really nice serum to add in ADDITION to other skincare products, like retinol, vitamin C & acids, as it works well with them & can enhance the benefits.

This serum has a light texture that does’t feel sticky and absorbs well into the skin. It feels lightweight on the skin and layers well under other products. The serum is not fragrance free. I personally prefer products without, however, if you like fragranced skincare you might like this scent as it’s a bit citrusy and fresh with a hint of lavender! So far I haven’t noticed any irritation from using this product, which is great. I will continue using to asses the anti aging properties as those usually take time to show its effects.

Oh Bakuchiol.....where were you several years ago when retinol was too harsh for my skin? I love bakuchiol products and Neogen so no shocker that I loved the Real Bakuchiol Firming Serum by Neogen. The frosted purple bottle is super cute, and I love the fragrance. It is some type of floral I am guessing. The texture is watery and glides as well as easily absorbs into the skin. So gentle! Such a wonderful alternative to retinol. No drying, flaking, stinging, irritation - just the exact opposite. I have been testing this during my PM routine only. My skin loves it, but I will need continued use to notice the anti-aging effects. This is definitely a good one to try if you are wanting to try Bakuchiol!

I was really glad to receive this serum from Neogen and 0.8L for I have been wanting to try Bukuchoil derived skincare. Ingredients: So obviously it contains Bakuchoi - a plant based ingredient with firming and lightening benefit. The product is also said to contain other plant extracts such as azulene, lavender oil, aloe vera leaf extract, tea tree leaf oil, & eggplant extract for antioxidant and patented Lupin Peptides and Hydrolyzed Lupine Proteins for collagen. The serum has a slight purple tint and the dropper is easy to use. I really like the texture of this serum. It has a light viscosity so it spreads nicely and absorbs pretty quickly when it's applied. What I appreciate the most is it does not dry out and has a decent moisturizing effect for the light serum. I did not feel any stickiness and it layered well with other moisturizers. I think this product hits a nice balance of fluidity and hydration. The scent is very subtle but it reminds me of an old fashioned detergent for some reason. But again, it is really light so didn't bother me at all. I have not been using this for long enough to talk about the result but my skin feels smooth and plump when I use this.

Overall I am loving this serum. The texture is so nice and it feels so satisfying when applied on the skin. I have been using the serum over 2 weeks now, my skin feels a lot smoother. For the first time ever, I tried a Bakuchiol based serum which has similar effects of retinol to combat aging. Well almost close to fortnight now, my face feels toned already. It didn't create any irritation or dryness if followed by moisturizer. Also,loved the light fragrance so much.The serum comes in a beautiful glass bottle with a dropper to dispense the right amount of product. Lastly ,pretty reasonably priced. The serum initially after application might feel sticky but eventually absorbs well into skin to create firm, smooth and radiant skin.Although for anti-aging benefits , have to use it for prolonged period to see more prominent results.

I love the viscosity of this serum! It makes this product feel so decadent and luxurious on the skin and it just spreads beautifully. This serum absorbs quite easily into my skin, but it does leave my skin feeling a tad on the sticky side. After I layer other products on top, however, any stickiness goes away, so I don’t even really find it to be noticeable at all except for during skincare application. Because this serum has some lovely humectants and peptides, it leaves my skin looking and feeling plump, firmer, and more radiant. This is an immediate effect from the hydration from the product. I haven’t been using this serum long enough to speak to it’s long term effects (or lack thereof) on my skin. However, I have been enjoying the immediate plumping effect that makes my skin look more juicy and healthier overall. I have been enjoying that I haven’t had any irritation from this serum so far, especially because I am prone to irritation from retinol products, making bakuchiol a great alternative if it does end up being similarly effective for me.

This serum comes in a beautiful purple frosted glass bottle and has a dropper style dispenser. The dropper is really great in dispensing as much product as I need. The consistency is neither too runny nor too thick. The serum has a nice floral (may be lavender) scent which fades away with in few seconds of application. The serum also appears light lavender color. I was really excited to try this product because I really wanted to see how Bakuchiol is working for my skin. I can say with use for close to 2 weeks in my night time routine, Bakuchiol has not caused any irritation or dryness to my skin. I felt it's very gentle. My skin continue to feel and look bright and healthy. I can't right away say if it is helping with anti-aging in such short span of time, but I can certainly say that I can continue using it as there has been no adverse effect by using this. As with retinol, I follow up with a moisturizer.

Bakuchiol is a plant based retinol alternative which provides similar anti aging effects but in a gentler way. This serum comes in a purple tint cute dropper bottle. The serum is light purple translucent, lightweight and non sticky. I take a dropper full of serum on my palms and pat it onto my skin after cleansing my skin. It helps to stimulate collagen production, add firmness and improve elasticity of skin. It does not irritate my skin and does help to make my skin healthier. Anti aging effects need more time to show on skin. I will update this review after a few weeks when I start seeing any anti aging effects.⁣ ⁣ ⁣
