🪒 The Barber 501 Shaving Booster Shaving Balms are definitely luxury shaving products, but they are so worth it. These are great for getting that super smooth shave without nicks, scratches, irritation or bumps. I was very happy with the natural and quality green grade ingredients and packaging of this product. I received the shaving balm in tea tree, which is recommended for extra nourished and moisturized skin. I love that these are available in different varieties depending on skincare concerns. 🪒 While using this shaving balm, I definitely noticed a softer and smoother shave. This balm does not foam or create a lot of suds, just a smooth glide. It has a light and natural tea tree fragrance, but it’s not overwhelming. Its also very easy to wash off, and doesn’t leave behind any sticky residue. It’s great for protecting delicate areas, and avoiding painful irritation after shaving. Although, this is meant for men, I feel that anyone who shaves can definitely use it, and they would even benefit by marketing this for women as well. I would definitely recommend, and actually would replace or swap my normal shaving cream or gel for this anytime. These are available on Amazon for an affordable price as well.

This balm creates a protective oil layer on the skin, so that the razor glides closer to the skin' without razor burns, irritation or nicks. This contains dimethicone & behentrimonium methosulfate to help provide that protective layer on the skin along with olive, plum, hemp, avocado, camellia & sea buckthorn oils. Barber501 makes several different versions of their Shaving Booster and the CICA version contains centella & its CICA components of asiaticoside, asiatic acid & madecassic acid for healing & soothing skin, along with antioxidant green tea extract and antiseptic tea tree oil. This does contain menthol, so it has a cooling effect on the skin. It has a mildly acidic pH level at 5.5 with a refreshing scent of mint Why are men getting the cool products for shaving!?? I don’t use shaving gels, but creams as I don’t like the lack of protection I get with gels, as I nick really easily. This balm is fantastic! I have used it on my legs and no nicks, plus a close shave. My skin feels very nice and moisturized too after I rinse off the balm. The balm does get stuck in the blades, so I have to make sure I rinse the blades fully. My only complaint? I need a bigger tube! this one might throw you, I apologize ahead of time. So I bought this @barber_501 Shaving Booster (for men 🥴🤫) at a deeply discounted rate thru @0.8l_usa for my personal opinion. Yeah I said its for men... But the ingredient list makes it sound like it actually might help repair my skin barrier which has become my number one focus. I started out patch testing it on the backs of my hands then progressed to my neck, always at nighttime. The improvement by morning was outstanding 😍😍 so I used it on my face. The first night alone and after no adverse effects, on top of all of my other skincare steps and baby!!! We finally got improvement after a week of this. It's a vaseline textured, unscented base, it contains natural centella asiatica extract which is, I guess, the reason for the green tint. It's a nongreasy but heavy formula but I swear it locked in all my skincare goodies and made them do more work! I'm not going to pretend the original purpose behind buying this Shaving Booster wasn't...private areas. I get razor bumps no matter what I do. This Shaving Booster has eradicated those embarrassing bumps and always leaves me feeling smooth and hydrated.

This oil based balm is made with 7 vegetable oils to provide moisture and is transparent when applied but visible so you can see where you are shaving. I chose Cica which contains the natural extract Centella Asiatica. This extract softens the hair making it easier to shave and provides a cool calm effect and moisterized skin. I used this on my legs and was amazed at how soft and smooth they felt. I'm prone to razor burn and this shaving booster provided a smooth barrier between my skin and the razor to avoid this. There was minimal scent to this product and also I love the design of the packaging. The tube looks a bit small but a little goes a long way! I would definitely purchase this for myself or for others as a gift as I feel it's a quality product!
