It's been forever since I reviewed any K beauty products, but as I am headed to South Korea soon, I thought I would pop in a few of my favs. K beauty (beauty products from Korea) is renowned for their high quality natural ingredients. Here's one that I got for my husband - The Barber 501 Shaving Booster Balm. Not only does it smell fantastic, but the concentrated formula goes a long way and leave skin hydrated. the formula has natural oils that protect the skin against any irritation, burn or dryness. He used the Tea Tree formula which is clarifying but it comes in other options as well such as charcoal, vita and ice mint. The tube is 2.3 fluid oz so it's also ideal for traveling!

I really wanted to try using this shaving booster balm when shaving my legs. Anything else I’ve ever tried never fully impressed me. This balm is nice and thick, spreads easy and you only need a little bit. I didn’t experience any irritation while using, and it completely saved me from razor burn. My legs are smooth, soft and hair free!

Let my husband try out a new shave product since he's deciding to grow a beard. He has to clean it up a couple days a week. It is mostly done on the neck area and above where he wants the beard to grow. The Barber501 Shaving Booster Balm is meant to make the shave process better. The formula is made to protect the skin from knicks and cuts while shaving. The balm is oil based which forms almost a shield on the skin. The one my husband used comes in the red box. Each box has a different scent & skin type. The red box has a Tea Tree scent to it & is meant to help with dry, tight skin. It is formulated to being back moisture during the shave process while softening the facial hair. It can be used with any type of razor including an electric one. The bottle comes in a compact size making it super easy to travel with if needed & using it is simple. How To Use 1. Wash face with warm water to open the pores 2. In a rolling motion, apply the balm to the area you will be shaving. 3. Shave in the direction the hair grows 4. On a second pass, shave in the against the grain 5. After shaving, wash face with warm water 6. My husband followed up with his skincare routine. After he was finished shaving the areas he intended, he did state he thought the beard hairs felt softer. There were no cuts, scrapes, or skin irritation following. He did state the oil based balm felt a little waxy until it warmed up. In the photos, you can see little balls of the product in his beard. However, he thought the shaving cream he applied did a better job. Overall, a good product.

🚿This balm is amazing. I know it's marketed towards men but I use it and I'm a woman. I chose the charcoal. This helps exfoliate and deep clean my oily skin. It also helped eliminate breakouts everywhere, like the back, and it also eliminated razor burn. I absolutely love this. This comes in a variety of different ingredients for different reasons. So depending on what your looking for they have something for everyone. This is incredibly affordable. A 2.2oz tube costs only $14. I had originally bought this product for my husband for when he shaves his beard, however it’s so cool how it works I may keep this little gem for myself. I may have to order him his own bottle. This shaving balm is amazing. Seriously. It is very thick and almost greasy like when first applied. And then the magic happens and it somehow tames and raises your hair that needs to be shaved so you can get the closest shave possible. And when you are finished the gel like substance leaves your skin so smooth and soft. The softness on my skin lasted for days. I have never had a shave last this long without having to touch up or redo the whole thing. To say I am impressed is an understatement. I was totally wowed with how soft and smooth my skin felt. My husband will love this for his beard. I may have just found the best shaving booster balm out there. This is definitely a keeper for me. I know with how moisturizing this is for your skin it will also help or even eliminate any shave bumps that may naturally occur as well. I will definitely buy this again for me and for my husband. My husband loves that when you rub it on the skin, the balm softly transforms to oil texture to build an oil protective layer which protects against any irritation (cuts, razor burn and dryness). The best is that it's paraben free, fragrance free and not tested on animals.

I got to try barber 501 shaving booster balm in charcoal. Its lightly scented and not over bearing. It absorbs into the skin nicely. I used it on both my legs and bikini line because they are my areas most prone to razor burn/bumps. It made my skin feel soothed before shaving. Afterwards my skin was super smooth which I loved. My husband also tried it out on his facial hair & it left his skin super smooth as well. It's a great product and we both would recommend it.

this product is very good. it goes on smooth doesn't leave a greasey feeling on your skin and does pull out imperfections and cleans pores when you shave. I used on my peachfuzz on my lip and it removes everything it is supposed to. my daughter used on her leg and she said it is very soothing and smoothing.she has very course hair and it took it all off in one swipe. it's a very impressive balm for shaving. I would highly recommend especially if you have course hair it works very well. great product will recommend to others

I suffer from razor burn and when I used this afterwards there was no razor burn! Using this, a little goes along way. It doesn’t take much to get complete coverage. I didn’t have to reapply either. It gave off almost a cooling sensation to me. Over all I would definitely buy this again

I really enjoyed trying this product I was pleasantly surprised. it has a really nice consistency and really moisturized my skin very nicely It had a pleasant scent and very good protection from nicks and cuts! Definitely recommend this! Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

👋 Okey dokey. I know this product is made for men and their facial hair but I wanted to try it for myself too! I ended up using it while shaving my legs and underarms. I first have to say that I have Eczema on my legs and shaving usually inflames it really bad. I've tried so many different Razors, Creams, Oils and even waxing but nothing really helped fully. 🔹️This Shaving Balm is actually quite incredible. It lathers on fairly well and easily. It's a thick balm so a little goes a long way. 🔹️It's an Oil based product so I CAN'T really say it's Non-Greasy. It is super moisturizing and hydrating. It's also very soothing too. 🔹️It has a light citrus scent that actually smells really refreshing. 🔹️I wet my leg a tiny bit and spread the balm around my leg. I only used enough to put a really thin layer on. I used my 5 blade Razor which usually leaves my legs covered in red itchy bumps. 🔹️The Razor glides over my skin very easily with this stuff on so there isn't much friction going on. My Razor still cuts all the way down to my skin but doesn't irritate my skin. 🔹️This balm pretty much creates a super thin barrier protecting my skin from the blades. My Eczema doesn't get inflamed as much which is fantastic. That means less bumps and Itchiness to. 🔹️I don't get any cuts or Razor burn either when I use this product. 👎My only issues with this product are that with it being Oil based it's much harder to rinse from my razor and it doesn't completely stop the irritation from my Eczema. Other than that this is an excellent product to use for anyone that shaves. Men and women. ✅ So I definitely recommend it for men and women! It's affordable and reliable.
