I was very excited to try this trendy metal wand mascara. Even when I showed it to my husband he said “Dang that’s an innovative design!” I love the aesthetics of the wand and the mascara. It came in a brown color but the brown had a red hue to it so it was almost copper. In the name it states Extra Volume Curl. If you consider volume to look clumpy. Also I did not notice any curl in my lashes what so ever. It also seemed to dry very fast and when I used an eyelash separator it was very flakey. I have a photo of no mascara, two layers of mascara, and then what it looks like after using an eyelash separator. Personally this is not the mascara for me. But that doesn’t not mean it won’t work for you! Everyone’s eyelashes are very different and so are there preferences! I really appreciate NeoGen and 0.8L for giving me the opportunity to test out such a trendy product!

I never had a clue that this metal wand will actually work but definitely I am pretty surprised 🙀 🤗Although It feels little heavy on eyelashes but gives the feel of doll-like lashes and indeed gives a great volume after two strokes only! Definitely lasts all day long (even upto 33 hours 😮)! Waterproof too. ✨In addition, the metal can be cleansed after each use. You can use a clean mascara on a daily basis, without irritating your eyes! 😔Only difficulty I felt it sticks together my eyelashes a little and hard to Wash off too💕 Nevertheless life is all about experimenting, definitely enjoyed it!

This is a beautiful, heavy metal mascara packaging with a metal wand that looks like the end of a screw. I thought this might be gimmicky but it actually really provided quite a nice length and volume to my lashes. The biggest downside I saw was it has a learning curve. It gets clumpy towards the end of the wand and I had trouble un-clumping lashes with the wand once they were stuck together. The brown color is super natural looking on me and I really enjoy it. It’s long lasting and take a bit of effort to remove at the end of the day- just make sure you have a good makeup remover.

This is perhaps one of the strangest mascaras I've ever tried. 💕It's hard to say anything about the texture, it won't be harsh because the stick is tiny and requires less formula than regular brushes. 💕I'm not sure this mascara will stay in my use. It is heavy for my eyelashes. After application, I feel the heaviness of the eyelids and it sticks together my eyelashes a little. Washes off well with a hydrophilic agent. 💕I still prefer using mascara with a fluffy brush, but it was an interesting experience. 💕Have you tried this mascara?

Neogen Dermalogy Extra Volume Curl Metal Mascara Brown - I saw the viral Tik Tok for this mascara and was excited to try it for myself. First impression of the packaging was that the shape of the mascara and metal “brush” was unique and had some weight to it. It was easy to apply, but I just wasn’t getting that curl that I’m used to with normal mascaras. It coated my lashes nicely. I imagine you can get the curl and lift by using an eyelash curler before, but I don’t want to add another step. I will use this mascara when I want a natural look.

It looked very royal. It was heavy. It broke my misconception of a typical mascara of having the right bristles to work, but i guess it's the wand that actually work. Though I didn't like wearing a brown mascara because I have brown skin so it kinda was a bland. I would rather have a darker color for my eyes to pop.
