A little too excited to try this pure #vitamincserum by #brooklynbotany! 😱😄☺️ I actually wasn't sure how to go about applying this at first because I've never used a #vitaminc #serum before. But the other #productreviewers came to my rescue & broke it down for me! After cleansing my face thoroughly, I then applied the serum throughout my face & neck. It absorbed very quickly & did leave my skin a little bit sticky-icky but not so much to be a bother. I think it's best to absorb overnight anyway without anything else touching the skin. I have also tried using it with another #facialoil as well as #facemoisturizer #lotion (2 different times) & found the serum paired with the lotion works best when applied in the morning. But the serum paired with another oil just made my skin way too oily 🙅🏽🤷🏽‍♀️ #shouldveknown 🙈 I also like the yellow-orange color but not really feelin' the scent (which is surprisingly not citrusy). CLAIMS: Made with 3 different vitamin C derivatives, the product claims to brighten the skin, helps formation of collagen, and diminish appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. USAGE: I use about 4-5 drops for my entire face after cleansing and toning. I let it sit for about 15 minutes before using serums/moisturizer. PROS: I find this to be quite gentle, maybe because of the lower percentage of L ascorbic acid. It spreads easy, doesn't sting any irritated or wounded skin, and sinks in pretty fast. It doesn't completely dry out my face like others, probably because of the blend of various oils and vitamin E. So my skin actually feels quite smooth and bouncy. I do notice a very nice glow in the morning that lasts throughout the day, even after washing. I can't say much for fine lines, dark spots, and overall skin health because 10 days isn't really enough to see results yet. CONS: The dropper itself leaves something to be desired. The bulb is kind of hard and it doesn't seem to stick on to the dropper very well for suction. The next part is not quite a con, but some of you might notice the serum is awfully orange. From pictures I've seen online, both the official ones and the ones taken by customers, I noticed the serum should look whiter/clearer. I contacted both 08L and Brooklyn Botany, and was told different batches of ingredients and storage conditions might affect the color, but it's otherwise safe and effective to use. Although my bottle works pretty nicely, I worry I might not be getting the full effects if it is indeed already oxidizing. I was provided a replacement, and although it is not as dark, it is still yellow. Despite that last bit though, I'm liking it so far, so I would definitely continue using this to see how this turns out in another month or two.

I'd never tried a Vitamin C Serum before, but this one from @brooklynbotany is wonderful! Just a few drops under my moisturizer tightened my skin and made my wrinkles and pores appear smaller! It even has a light orange-ginger scent while you apply it but it doesn't linger!

Got to try out this cool new product! The pros it definitely does what it said it would leaves a brighter and tighter feeling to the skin! Unfortunately the only draw back was that some of my already dry and red skin didn't get along with the serum. Ilove this vitamin C serum because is a much more potent, powerful version of Vitamin C than what is typically found in most Vitamin C serums. It is not a Vitamin C derivative, it is pure C, and as such, it can lose its’ freshness and potency quickly, which is why it is not found in many serums due to its’ limited shelf life. This serum has a special blend to preserve the L-Ascorbic for twelve months. Once I opened it, I chose to keep it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh. When I received the product it had spilled inside of the box and made a mess. The product smelled really werid and that turned me away from wanting to use the product. I received this Brooklyn Botany ultra pure vitamin C serum from 0.8l. I have been using this product twice a day to help my skin which has gotten worse with age and diabetes. You can have the dropper or put the regular cap on it. The smell does have a orange fragrance that has a medical smell mixed in but it does not bother me but could bother others. I would put a few drops on my hands and rubb it on my face and it absorbed quickly and the smell went away. My skin felt great and tightened but it's only been 3 days so I don't noticed anything else. The price is comparable to other serums at Walgreens or target.

Brooklyn Botany Vitamin C serum was truly nice. I have tried other vitamin serums in the past and this one was not as oily as others I had tried. I really thought that this product is better than the others. A little bit of the serum went a long way, and covered a my whole face. I have tried my fair share of facial serums and vitamin C serums and Brooklyn Botany had a pleasent smell and texture. This is a product that I plan on adding to my beauty regime. I can not wait to see all of the benefits this product will manifest. My complexion cleared up in the first week of trying it and I swear my dark spots are lighter...GREAT PRODUCT. I recently got the opportunity to try Brooklyn Botany Vitamin C serum. I enjoyed using this product, and used it after my shower. This serum comes it a glass bottle with an easy to use dropper. You simply take out desired amount and apply to your face using your hands. This serum is not super thick and would be great if it were a bit thicker and had a better smell. After a few days I noticed if I used more of the serum it seemed to work better. My face felt slightly better and a little less dry. I wrote a review earlier but   unfortunately it disappeared while I was uploading pics . I'm hoping I didn't miss any important points.

So far I have only been using this for about a week and half. It's pretty gentle. Seems pretty nice so far, hasn't caused any breakouts. Mine has a pretty heavy scent. Smells natury and woodsy. Also, I've never used a vitamin c serum that was yellow. So I'm wondering if this has oxidized.

I'm a fan! The smell is a little strong; the soybean oil really sticks out to me. But overall, I like this product quite a bit. I have combination skin and it absorbed quickly without looking greasy, and also made my skin look brighter in the morning. My first time using a Vitamin C serum! This has replaced my dark spot corrector product in my daily routine. The dropper makes this product easy to use. It's nicely fluid without being runny, and smells something like synthetic bitter oranges. I use 3-4 drops for my face, and it dries down stickily. I think it has helped with discoloration. It's also supposed to help with anti-aging; I don't have any of those issues yet, but I don't mind using this as prevention. I think this comes out as a solid "meh" for me. Product review: Brooklyn Botany Ultra Pure Vitamin C Serum I recieved this product complimentart from @0.8l_usa in exchange for my honest review. I have never heard of this brand but I was really excited to try this serum. It claims to brighten the skin, help the formulation of collagen and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I have been using this for about a week. I cant say I have noticed any difference in my fine lines but my skin does look brighter while wearing this serum. The directions say to apply to clean face with or without another moisturizer. I applied to by itself and it left my face feeling smooth but sort of tight like it just dried on my face instead of absorbing into my skin. But it did not feel oily so thats good. But I have really dry skin so I need to use another moisturizer with this because its not as hydrating as I need it to be so I also tried it with another product and it left my face feeling sticky and tacky. I think this would work well with people whose skin is more on the oily side.This product also does have a sort of chemical smell to it but it goes away. I have stopped using it for now though because my face started to break out, not intirely sure it was from this product though so I might use it again. I like this product. it makes your skin feel relief if you happen to have a redness. when I first tried it my cheeks were pelling off, they were too dry. Since I have been using this product I don't have this last problem. I have onily skin and what bothers me a little is the sticky part and how after applying my moisturizing if feels a bit thick in my face and neck. So I try to use just a bit of each one. But most of the time I'd rather wear the Serum ONLY. Also this serum does have a smell but it goes away as you wear it. Not bad for my taste. Woody essence. It lasts all day long and helps your skin to start the production of collagen. To prove the anti-aging effect I might have to give it some time so I might be changing my review if I happen to see any good improvement.
