They are fragrant and crunchy! There is a slight spicy flavor to it but it is nothing too crazy that would make it unbearable. One of my favorite quick meals to have is canned salmon or tuna mixed with mayo and sriracha on top of steamed rice with furikake. This is very similar to furikake but I have to say that I love this much more. The pieces of seaweed are pretty big and have a great slight spicy, roasted flavor. I love having these in my cabinet. They are easy to eat and add to any dish for an extra dash of flavor. I absolutely love this. I eat sheets of seaweed all the time but this was the first time trying it shredded. Thankfully it was delicious. It has the perfect blend of spices with a nice kick of heat. It wasn’t too spicy either. I ate it various ways, mixed with rice to make rice balls, on top of a poke bowl, on ramen and in a sushi bake. The recipe ideas are endless. It was both sweet, salty and spicy. It is a bit oiler than the sheets. I also found that I had trouble closing the resealable bag all the way so it leaked oil a bit. I will definitely repurchase these often.
