I absolutely loved the smell of the cranberry serum. Wasn't to fond of the sticky feel it had when first applying to my skin but the after effect is awesome!! I highly recommend this product!

I recieved this product for free for reviewing purposes from 0.08liter. This product is a light pinky/purple tinted serum with a very faint kinda sugary fruity scent. Not overpowering at all. I've been using this for awhile now and I think I like it. I honestly can't visibilly tell what it is doing to my skin but I can say it is definitely not irritating it. My skin has been behaving nicely since using this product but I have also incorporated a couple other products around the same time. This product claims to moisturizer the skin, dries matte, and is great to use as a makeup primer. I don't feel that it moisturizes my skin all to much but I have really dry skin this winter so I am having to layer a couple moisturizers. I still wouldn't use this alone in the summer though. Maybe someone with more oily skin would benefit from just this alone. It does dry matte and it works ok as a primer, but I have other primer products I prefer. I do feel like this product helps to make my skin feel smoother overall so that is a plus. I will definitely continue to use this product until it is empty. This lightweight serum added an extra layer of moisture to my dry skin. I added it to my daily skincare regimen. I put it on right after cleansing my face, before moisturizer. I've also used it as a primer before applying makeup. It starts out tacky, then it absorbs nicely into my skin. It doesn't effect the way my makeup applies, which is a great thing for a primer. Bonus, it has a nice, matte finish. The cranberry scent is pleasant and fresh and the product doesn't contain any parabens. According to the Skin Actives website, this serum is "great for providing antioxidants and moisture to the skin," is "perfect for those who have oilier skin types and can't handle a heavier cream," and "provides a very nice matte finish before you apply makeup." . As a pleasant surprise, the ingredients list is rather short: Water, Sea Kelp (Lactobacillus/kelp ferment filtrate) Bioferment, Glycerin, Sodium PCA, Vaccinium macrocarpon (Cranberry) Juice, Ferulic acid, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hyaluronic acid, Porphyridium extract, Fucoxanthin, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid. . The serum itself is a thin, slightly sticky clear liquid with a sweet, fruity fragrance. A little goes a long way as it's very easy to spread on the skin. . It's very smooth and moisturizing, but does leave a bit of a tacky film on the skin before it completely absorbs, so when doing makeup, wait a few minutes. After it absorbs, the skin really is left hydrated and not oily at all - the skin feels perfectly matte. It also provides a nice satin feel, which I quite like. . Overall I found this product held up to its claims, and I do think it would be a great moisturizing agent for those with oilier skin because of how it dries matte without leaving a thick layer on the skin. . It's also super affordable, at $10.50 for 30ml on the Skin Actives website. Remember, because of its slippery texture a little goes a long way.

The first time I used this serum, I was definitely on the fence. It left a kind of sticky feeling on my face, but as with any product, it's usually best to try it out more than once. So I have been using this twice a day for a week. This serum claims to be moisturizing and have a matte finish. I haven't really felt that it has a matte finish though I am using this serum on top of other products so that could be why. I do like this serum for its smell. It really does smell lightly of cranberries. The scent also isn't heavy, which is great. The scent disappears after you apply the product. I like the way this serum makes my face feel after it's set. It only takes a few seconds for this to be absorbed by the skin, and the sticky feeling does go away. It has a bit of a cooling feeling as you massage it into the skin. Overall, I would recommend this as a serum step in your skincare routine. I think it would work best for those who need extra moisture but I would avoid using it if you don't use any products after a serum.

What luck! I was once again select by 0.8l to try another wonderful product! This time it was the Skin Actives Cranberry Serum. When I hear the word serum, I automatically think of radiant, glowy, luminous skin! Imagine my surprise when I saw it had a matte finish! I was somewhat intimated because I have dry/combination skin and most matte products tend to dry my skin out even further. The serum has a sweet and light cranberry aroma. It is thin and very easily absorbed by the skin. It was actually very moisturizing and not at all drying . I used it with and without makeup it gave me a very nice natural finish both times. I loved how it kept my dry spots moisturized and it controlled my oily spots ! It also worked great as a primer!! I am definitely keeping this in my daily regimen! I am definitely going to see what other products skin actives has! I was excited to try this Skin Actives Scientific Cranberry Moisturizing Serum because I have very oily skin. The serum is absorbed very fast, and I felt that it did prevent my skin from becoming overly oily throughout the day. The product claims that it works as a great makeup primer and I have to agree. It leaves a nice matte finish on the skin without overly drying at the same time. I personally will use this more of a primer than for moisturizing purposes. It's very light, slight pink in color and does not smell strongly at all.

I loved the radiant glow that the Cranberry Moisturizing Serum gave my skin, and how it looks so refreshed. I washed my face as usual and applied the serum in a circular motion. I notice that it had a very light, non greasy texture that absorbed quickly but still gave my face a balancing type of moisture that felt healthy and fresh on my skin. Finally!! A new product to review for you guys! This is the Cranberry Moisturizing Serum from @skin_actives . At first I was a bit skeptical about the smell. I am not a huge fan of cranberries and it seemed like a hard scent to achieve. However, I was pleasantly surprised! It smelled amazing - probably my favorite part about this product! The packaging is super tiny and cute. But onto the important stuff - the product itself. I use this as a makeup primer. It leaves my skin with a matte, but still hydrated, finish. Perfect for my dry skin! This is a really nice moisturizer and I defiantly recommend!

Observations. Doesn't dry matte. Dries shinny. Great sample size. It will give many applications. Pros. My skin feels super hydrated! Visibly more clear Nice smell, not too strong. Natural, cruelty free product. Cons. Took more than 15 min to dry. When finally dries, it still feels a lil sticky. Leaves a lil bit of residue, like tiny little black dots. Conclusion. Even with the cons, would definitely purchase when finish with sample.
