#sponsored and i took this campaign because I previously took a campaign for an Overlaps cleanser, and I truly enjoyed it. I don't know a lot about ectoin, but I have been trying more on skin barrier repair products, a thing the brand touts as their main focus, and am also trying to make a "cooling/cryo" skin routine. The cooling sensation of this product is very mild, so I don't think it would feel bothersome to most people, and I wish it had actually been more cooling. The only real issue I had with the product is that is has an extremely watery consistency. I would definitely recommend you apply it with a cotton round or something, because using just your hands could be wasteful. But it definitely makes me wonder where they put all these great ingredients! Because it's obviously very lightweight on the skin, and doesn't leave any annoying residue. But much like the cleanser, it left my skin baby soft and completely hydrated. Like very impressively soft! I am more of a toner pads girl, but I do try to keep a bottle of toner for my travel bag, along with some "DIY" toner pads/face towels because they fit so much better in a travel bag than a bulky jar of toner pads. This worked perfectly for me, because I had the "DIY" sheets and love doing the "mask method" with my toner pads. I did so and felt the immediate "baby soft results" after leaving them on for maybe 15 minutes, literally after just the first use, and they absorbed quite well and quickly. The bottle is also extremely large, so the price is very reasonable for the product amount. I was able to save more space in my overnight bag by pouring it into a smaller bottle. I'm not sure if this toner specifically will earn a permanent spot in my skincare collection, but I am very impressed overall by the brand, and hope they will do campaigns for the serums! I am becoming a big fan of Overlaps.

This is a great calming toner! I have hyper sensitive, dry skin and this is a really nice addition to my skin care routine. I like to keep this in my skin care fridge so it’s extra calming and soothing on my skin. I drench this on a very thin, non-abrasive cotton pad and set it on my skin in the morning before putting make up on. This calms down my redness and keeps my skin hydrated for my makeup to sit nicely on top. Recommended!

Okay this one surprised me in the best way. The Overlaps Natrun Oasis Ectoin Submarine Toner feels like a tall glass of water for your face. It’s super lightweight but somehow still deeply hydrating—like it actually sinks in instead of just sitting there doing nothing. My skin drinks it up. I’ve noticed my skin feels calmer and less irritated, especially on days when it’s acting a little dramatic. It gives that soft, bouncy look without any heaviness or stickiness, which I love because I cannot deal with thick toners. If your skin is dry, sensitive, or just tired and needs a reset, this is a solid go-to. It’s giving hydration, it’s giving soothing, it’s doing its job without trying too hard.

I’ve been using this facial toner daily (morning and night) as part of my skin flooding routine, and I’m honestly obsessed. It gives my skin such a nice, healthy glow every time and keeps it feeling super hydrated. Since adding it in, my skin just looks clearer, smoother, and overall more refreshed. Definitely keeping it in my routine.

The texture is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and layers well with the rest of my skincare without feeling sticky or heavy. My skin feels refreshed and hydrated after using it, and it seems to help calm down redness and dryness, especially after cleansing. I also like that it feels gentle and doesn’t irritate my skin, which is really important to me. The packaging is nice and easy to use, and a little product goes a long way. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the hydration lasted a bit longer throughout the day, and I’d love if it had a little more brightening effect. But overall, it’s a solid toner that I would keep in my routine and recommend if you want something soothing and lightweight.
