Seems like a great product. The consistency was strange for me, but I found it covered my skin smoothly. I'm not sure if I noticed any tightening, but I know it made my skin feel nice. A little sticky at times, but not unpleasant.

When i first received this product, for review from the Awesome 0.8Liter.com, I was like what in the duck is SYN-AKE??@!@? Why would i want something like snake venom on my face??!!@? Well let me tell ya!! I am in LOVE with this product. I will definetly be adding it to my beauty routine permanetly!! But, before i tried it i had to make sure it was safe and all that good stuff. Here is what i found out... Syn-ake is a topical anti-aging treatment developed by the Swedish company Pentapharm Ltd., and is marketed as a topical alternative to Botox injections and other types of synthetic treatments that are formulated to get rid of wrinkles, crow’s feet, and many other signs of aging. Syn-ake replicates the effects of a peptide that is known as Waglerin 1, a peptide only found in the venom of the poisonous Temple Viper snake, hence the name Syn-ake. Since snake venom causes muscular paralysis, this synthetic derivative works in the same manner, it temporarily deadens the muscles in the face and reduces muscular contractions & cell movement; thereby keeping the skin smooth and preventing new wrinkles or the deepening of existing wrinkles. Sounds Great, Right?? I was afraid that my face was going to like go numb or that i was going to be stuck looking & sounding like Sylvester Stallone...Yo, Adrienne..I cant feel my face, Adrienne(as i drool)!! But no, this stuff didnt make my face tingle or feel weird or anything. It felt just like any of my other serums except it is really light and soft. It didnt leave my face feeling sticky or oily either. TThe best part happens in the morning when i wake up, my face feels sooooo supple, hydrated and soft like a baby's bum!! I recommend this stuff to everyone!!! It ROCKS! I did find some things to watch for & Warnings; Many users who have sensitive skin have found that using Syn-ake caused swelling, redness of the skin, itching, and stinging when the product was applied. While not all consumers will experience negative side effects, extreme care should be taken during the first application and the results carefully monitored before applying the product again. This is important because the ingredient doesn’t work like olive oil or other ingredients that boost skin health. I would highly recommend this product. It is true to its word. It is tightening upon application, it also moisturizes very well. The scent is pleasant, with a hint of citrus. I use this product before bed and find that it has helped my skin to feel moisturized, firm and has also helped to clear some of my acne and redness. I absolutely love the packaging. It's clean and simple. The cream is a gel texture, and is translucent orange. I would definitely recommend this product to others, even those with oily skin. I have combination skin and this product has helped me a lot, with both dryness and oiliness. I would repurchase.

This feels more like a gel than a true cream. I love that it's in a pump which prevents it from being too messy. I did feel a slight tingling on my skin, I'm guessing that's where the tightening comes in. I'm not sure how to describe the smell. It's not pungent but it is noticeable, which might put some people off. I would like this better if the scent was a bit softer. I do like the product and have a few others that are similar. It is a serum. I love the smell. It's wonderful. I would caution those who may have sensitive skin because I had breakouts off and on. I didn't feel a tightening effect of this. It made my skin feel smoother, despite the breakouts. I will continue to use it, just not as often. Hopefully, the breakouts will diminish. This product does have snake venom in it. Again, I advise those of you who have sensitive skin or allergies, to use with care. I love the silky-smooth feel and texture and the smell is great! *I took my time testing this product because of the breakouts. I have other products that are new as well and I did a process of elimination to make sure what was the cause of my breakouts. *

I like this product very much. It smells really nice and doesn't leave you feeling greasy or anything which is great. All you do is put it on and your good to go. No need having to wash it off or anything else. The texture is really nice as well. It also doesn't take much to cover your face so the bottle will last you a long time.

Yet another product from 1960NY line. I'm on the fence about this product. Since it hasn't been long enough for me to see the results that it claims to have. 😐 It claims to be skin brightening also anti- wrinkle properties. 😯The cream itself comes in a vacuum pump like the aqua intensive serum. Even though the product is suppose to be a cream. To me it's more of a light weight gel that a cream. It does moisturizer fairly well. 👍 up for the packaging. It is said that the venom mimics a temple viper with strong muscle relaxing effects. Syn-Ake is an anti-wrinkle chemical similar to botox and this cream also contains adenosine, which is also an anti-wrinkle functional ingredient. This tightening cream comes in a pump bottle, which I absolutely love. I would rather be able to dispense the cream than stick my fingers in a jar-- it just feels more sanitary that way. The cream is a bit light yellow in color and gel-like. Once rubbed in, it has this scent to it that I'm unsure of. You don't love it, but you don't hate it either. It feels greasy at first and a bit tacky, but not too sticky. But it actually absorbs quite quickly, the skin just soaks it right up. I've been using this regularly for a good week now. Twice a day, morning and night. Three pump is a perfect amount for my face and usually, three is like an automatic amount of pumps I push from a dispenser, and it just so happens to be a good amount. All I can say is that this product is really amazing. The skin on my face looks tighter and it left my skin feeling smoother. It made my face more softer and radiant, compared to how it use to look.

After a week of trying out the 1960NY Syn-Ake Tightening Cream, I really like how my skin looks after using it. The product itself is a good size to travel with. I like how its light weight and it also has a nice smell to it. I only need two pump of the product and I put it directly onto my face. So no product goes to waste. After a few days of using it, I can see the product was working and there was glow to my face. Which made me like the product even more. I really like this product and I'm going to keep using it.

This is an anti-wrinkle cream, and while I'm one year shy of 30 and some might ask why I would need such a product, I'm very into preventative maintenance. I do have a few creases showing up around my eyes as well as expression lines in my forehead and around my mouth. The 1960ny Syn-Ake Tightening Cream is LOVELY. It smells somewhat citrus-y but isn't too strong. It has a gel-like consistency and goes on smoothly, giving your skin a very hydrated feel, but once it dries, you can absolutely feel that 'tightening' effect it boasts in the name. It does tighten the skin but don't confuse that with stiffness, it is very comfortable on the skin. I am in love with this stuff. Great firming feeling almost immediately after application. Does not over dry or feel too tight. May feel slightly tacky/sticky but that feeling doesn't last long. Soaks in fairly quickly and is hydrating as well. I love the aloe/citrus scent and it didn't cause any irritation or break outs to my combination/sensitive skin. Would definitely recommend.

I tried the tightening cream and I must say that I'm really enjoying it. It's a light weight cream that you apply add the last step in your routine. It absorbs quickly and it's not sticky.
