I love the smell of this sunscreen. I've used it a few times when it wasn't raining and it's good and helps protect against sunburn and redness from sun, however I'm a red head and usually burn first few times I'm in sun during spring but using Laporhicell sunblock I just turned a little red I took a photo with no make up so you can see it's not a burn just red! I look forward to using again!

This is a great sun protecting product. It did not feel like my skin was suffocating, and it blended in smoothly. The smell is soft and light, unlike other products that smell like a chemical. This mineral-based sun cream has a slight floral sweet scent that is similar to the Lapothicell Tone Up Cushion. The sunscreen is white but once on the skin, blends in well, leaving no white cast.My skin felt soft and with a matte-like finish, once the cream had dried down. Most importantly, I didn't experience any suburn on my face, on areas that I ALWAYS get sunburnt, no matter what, when, or how much I apply! When I then applied any face makeup, my face was smooth and application was easier (quicker, too). The sunscreen didn't pill or smudge but helped to create a nice, smooth canvas for my makeup, while protecting my pale, sunburn prone face. It also helped bring out the dewy, moistness of a cushion that is normally matte/drying on me, so I am pleased.

Highly recommend this sunblock! high SPF (50) and smells really good for a sunblock. When i applied it, my skin absorbed it quickly, and it was not oily at all. I am currently only going to use it on my face, because thats the most prone to sunburn, even during minor sunny days, versus the rest of your body, especially if you are caucuasian. I hope i see good results going into the summer!

Lapothicell Natural Mineral Sun Protection is a SPF50+ PA+++ suncreen. It's a very easy product to apply, it absorbs very quickly into the skin. This sun screen does have a white cast to it and that does take a while to fade so I reccomend waiting at least 10 minutes before applying any other products to your face. I think the product for the most part holds up well but after an hour or so I did begin to get a bit oily. I am a huge fan of sunscreens, especially from Asian brands. For me, this is one of the secrets to aging gracefully and ensure that those pesky acne scars don't get darker than they already are. I have extremely sensitive and acne-prone skin-- anything can cause my face to be angry. I'm glad to report that this sunscreen has not broken me out or cause any other allergic reactions. Like other Asian sunscreens, it is not greasy/oily and spreads and dries beautifully. Like others say, it does smell quite strongly. Surprisingly not a problem for my sensitive skin. There's a tiny bit of white cast at first, but after 10 minutes or so it dries clear. I've been using only SPF35, so this SPF50+ PA+++ is a nice upgrade! Lastly, it might not be suitable for dry skin. When I used it as a moisturizer as well, my skin is way too dry. Moisturize well under this sunscreen! Then it'd be very nice under makeup.

Thanks to @0.8liter and @Lapothicellsg for letting me try out the Sun Protection Sunscreen! The last time I spent the day at the beach, I used a spray-on sunscreen but didn’t realize that I had to rub it into my skin. In the end, my legs ended up looking like beef jerky with a white streak in the middle, and it took me over a year for my skin to return to its normal color. Nowadays, I prefer to cover up as much as possible, but it still leaves my hands and face exposed to the sun. Since this sunscreen leaves on a matte finish, anyone with dry skin must moisturize before putting this sunscreen on. If you skip this step and proceed to put the sunscreen on your bare face, you’ll end up with white dry patches. Aside from this, what stood out about this sunscreen was its non-greasy formula. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave that white ghoulish effect on one’s face. It has a pleasant scent that reminds me of the Cotton line from Bath and Body works. Overall, it provides thorough protection with its SPF 50+ formula and it further brings relief with ingredients like chamomile extract and aloe vera leaf. Much appreciated!

Yes! Sunscreen that doesn't cause breakouts, makes skin look smooth rather than greasy, and works as well on face as on body...even with makeup! And it smells heavenly rather than medicinal...

Texture and Fragrance: This is a white cream that I found this to be slightly thicker and heavier than some of the “essence” sunscreens that I’ve encountered, but still quite liquid and spreadable. It has an extremely sweet fragrance, to the point that I find it slightly off putting. This isn’t helped by the fact that the scent lingers aggressively, meaning I could still smell it on my skin after application, like thirty minutes or more. The smell does fade eventually but it takes time. This is a sunscreen that requires some extra patting and work to get it to absorb, and I did find it left a very slight white cast on my pale skin. It was minimal and hard to detect, and the effect lessened as the sunscreen seemed to settle into my skin, but if you’re darker toned this sunscreen might not be your best match. Since it’s more dense than some of the more watery sunscreens I’ve used in the past, I find you only need to apply a small amount to get a good amount of coverage. ➖ Results: Despite the minor white cast issues, I LOVE the finish of this sunscreen. It dries down completely matte -- a rarity amongst Asian sunscreens, which seem to prefer a dewier finish -- and helps moderate the stickiness of moisturizers applied beneath it, which is a quality I always appreciate in a sunscreen. It offers broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection and I had no issues while wearing it, even while out in the Florida sun. ➖ Notable Ingredients: Zinc Oxide (3rd listed) and Titanium Dioxide (5th) provide UVA and UVB protection; propanediol (4th) helps provide hydration; the early ingredients also include a variety of silicones, like cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, and cyclomethicone to impart a silky texture; Salvia hispanica seed extract (12th), aka chia, an emollient with plentiful fatty acids for the skin; Centella asiatica extract (13th), a skin-soothing ingredient; plant extracts make up the majority of the latter half of the ingredients, and fragrance is listed last. Unfortunately the ingredients were not included in English on the packaging, but you can find them on the Lapothicell site. ➖ Packaging: A standard 50ml tube. Nothing remarkable, but it’s sturdy enough to survive being tossed around in my purse! ➖ Another really excellent product that is tripped up by being overly fragranced. How many in a row is that now? Maybe I’m just becoming overly sensitive to perfumes? Anyway, as far as the actual sunscreen goes, I actually think it’s a winner texturally. If you’re looking for a quality mineral sunscreen with great protection that also applies relatively easily then I would wholeheartedly recommend it, provided you can stomach the fragrance. I would hesitate to recommend it to people who have issues with white cast however, as this sunscreen is certainly guilty of that -- even if it’s to a lesser degree than some other sunscreens I’ve used. It’s not a huge issue for me so I intend to continue using this sunscreen, as I’ve been in the market for one with mineral ingredients!

This sunblock is ammmmmmaazing!! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼It's not sticky at all, it feels more like a light moisturizer than sunscreen. My skin absorbs it fast and it dries matte. It has SPF 50+PA+++ and has very nice scent too. I use it before I apply my foundation and it went on smoothly and no white cast. It's available on Amazon for about $21 for 50ml. Definitely not cheap but I think it's worth it, but I'll use it just for my face because I'll probably finish it in one using if I use it for my body too.

This is a great smelling sun block moisturizer for your face! Lapothicell has made a very nice quality product. My face is very pail at the end of winter and i am always afraid if that first nose/cheek burn. With this on my face i havent had any burns and my dry spots are looking good too. I love the unique smell. It comes in a pretty blue box and a lotion tube looking container. I an seriously blown away by the earthy flowery smell. No complaints thus far. Has a light pleasant scent unlike most sun protection products. Even if scents make you sick, this one fades within a short time. Doesn't leave my face looking pale or greasy. Had to rub it in a bit, but ultimately it absorbs really well. I have combination & sensitive skin and this product has not caused me to breakout. Can't say how it holds up under makeup since I only wear makeup for special occasions. Overall it's a keeper and I'm really pleased to add it to my routine.

Finally a sunblock that doesn't smell like sunblock! 😂It smells like something floral with a mixture of ocean breeze and sunshine which is nice,subtle and not too overpowering.It's a physical spf which means it deflects/block sun rays vs the chemical spf that absorb/scatter sun rays anyway,it got Spf 50,PA +++ it's not as thick as I thought it would be, blends well/ easily and doesn't leave a white cast once applied.On my face (left side of this pic) looks a lil bit brighter on camera #nofilter just #naturalsunlight but in real life there is not much of a difference.It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry ,not sticky at all and it doesn't make my makeup look blotchy.Spf like skin! So I received Lapothicell Natural Mineral Sun Protection and I've been using it for a few days. Unfortunatelly I can't say that I'm satisfied with it. The fragrance is nice but way too strong and it does not go away.
