I've been into propolis skincare lately and so excited to try The YEON Jeju Canola Honey Water Balm Cream which contains 30% Propolis Extract & 10% canola honey extract, for healing and anti-wrinkle properties. Rather than cream, it is more like a very solid balm inside a jar. It includes a tiny scooper to help scooping the solid balm. I only need a tiny size for my whole face. What a saving! The scent is very faint and once applied to the skin the balm melt into droplets of water. Feels awesome & refreshing! It's not oily, not sticky, and even lighter than most balm. I like how it gives my face a dewy & hydrated look.

So all of that makes me happy, I’m just not happy about a few of the chemical ingredients but at least they aren’t at the very top. The consistency is a balm paste when cold but after warming it up on your fingers, it turns watery and melts into your skin. It’s encapsulated watery goodness. It's kinda fun watching it melt. But if you use to much, you can be left with a slight sheen on your face. It’s very hydrating and a little really goes a long way. The smell is a light floral perfume, it dissipates after a few minutes. So far I have liked usingthis cream and will continue to use it. It feels like I'm drowning myself in propolis this winter, and I'm totally okay with that. Bee glue, bee barf, and snail slime are basically my life right now so I don't become a dried out husk. This Jeju Canola Honey Water Balm Cream from The Yeon fits in perfectly. The fragrance is light and sweet (no, I did not lick the moisturiser, but I wanted to), and the texture is surprising. What starts out as being a solid, similar to a sherbet cleanser, it starts to melt as soon as it hits the skin and warms a bit. It's beautifully smooth, and feels great on the skin without feeling too heavy, but I do recommend using it at night. While it seems quite occlusive, it also remains tacky to the touch. I was extremely excited to try this cream when the campaign went up on @0.8l_usa .This product contains 30% propolis from Jeju and 10% canola honey. It claims to provide an instant boost of hydration and help with skin healing and anti-wrinkling. . 🌟The defining feature of the product, in my opinion, is the texture. It comes as a balm - sort of looks like room temperature butter. I haven't tried a product that felt quite like this one. You can use the spatula to scoop out the product and apply liberally on the face. Because of the texture, it can be very hard get the amount just right. I found that I only need a really small amount to cover my entire face. It melts and sinks in right away upon skin contact. It smells a little bit like honey, but is not overpowering. . 🌟 I've been using this for a couple of weeks now, and have enjoyed it quite a bit. I like that it's very very easy to apply and is pretty spreadable. I think that it is quite moisturizing especially for the winter time. However, I do think that it gives a strong glossy finish, which might be a problem if you have oily skin or if you just don't like the glowy look. For that reason, I mostly use this at night. I know I like haggard af in this photo, but I took the picture after night of not sleeping very well and heavy drinking. I wanted to try the product out on fresh skin. My skin was desperately craving some serious hydration, and this cream promises to have anti-aging properties. Aside from the obvious honey extracts, this cream also contains algae extract, strawberry extract blackberry extract and cranberry extract. My skin was quite soft after use, however I have not used it enough yet to speak to the antiaging properties. This cream was quite thick and perfect for winter. Despite its consistency, it sunk into my skin well and it definitely worked on hydrating my tired skin. I would definitely repurchase, and thank you 08l for allowing me to try this product at a reduced rate in exchange for my honest review.

The cream has a very thick consistency that melts to a soft and watery balm when on the skin. It glides on easily and absorbs very well and fast without any film. Feels very good on the skin, instantly giving burst of hydration. Cream leaves skin very soft and smooth, helps with any redness making skin look more even toned. It improves elasticity when used for prolonged time and reduces visibility of fine lines. Work well with makeup, keeping it in place. Overall, very nice cream/balm, hydrating, soothing and providing nice anti-aging results.

Ive been trying @theyeon Jeju Canola Honey Water Balm 🐝 It is supposed hydrate your skin, with 30% Propolis Extract from Jeju, and 10% canola honey extract for healing and anti-wrinkle properties 🐝 The packaging is beautiful, and instantly says luxury 😍 I love the rose gold cover 🐝 It comes out of the jar, as a hard, thick, white texture and after applying it on your face it gets softer 🐝 It did absorb quickly on my skin, and had a brightening effect as well ( you can see in the first picture) 🐝 It didn’t diminish the redness, but this wasnt the point of the cream 🐝 It also made a great primer for my makeup afterwards 🐝 The balm has some nice, quality ingredients in it: • Jeju 30% propolis extract - which protects skin from the environment, and helps firm the skin. • Extract of Ecklonia Cava, Hizikia Fusiforme, Codium Tomentosum, and Gelidium Cartilagineum grown in Jeju and cranberry, blackberry, blueberry, and strawberry extracts - which help keep your skin healthy, and vibrant. It's not oily or sticky and feels very refreshing like a mist on the skin. It does absorb into the skin but might take some time for it to fully absorb so I would suggest patting it in. The scent is very different it doesn't smell like honey but isn't a chemical scent. I would say a sweet blackberry scent. Once absorbed, this leaves your skin with a dewy finish. I am in love with this moisturizer and this has been my primary moisturizer. I use the @stratiaskin Liquid Gold as an emulsion followed by this and my skin is super happy. This retails for $35 on Amazon and I would love to repurchase when on sale. I like to hoard products which all of you know by now and I refuse to pay full prize on any skincare product. I have 10+ moisturizers to use up but this is on my wishlist to be repurchased.

Some key ingredients: Jeju propolis extract 30%, canola honey extract, jeju sea weed complex and extracts from various berries... . 🍯Texture/Color/Details: The texture is so weird for a cream/moisturizer. It reminds me more of a cleansing balm or butter…lol. Using a spatula is highly recommend. It has slight yellowish tint to the product and upon touch it melts. It has slight sweet scent to me but also smells artificial (maybe my nose is weird…lol) it almost smells like it is trying to smell like honey but has lingering scent I cannot pin point. Haha. . My Thoughts: I scooped out about dime size amount and I initially tested on back of my hand. I started to pat it in, it immediately melted and I noticed tiny water drops appeared. I personally never used a product like this and I was pretty amused by it (to be honest). . 🍯 I have only used it for few days and for both day and evening routines. When I applied this product my skin immediately reacted, slightly felt tingling sensation (not painful…very bearable). The product applied nice and evenly but felt slightly slippery. Almost feel like a dewy finish foundation primer, skin feel smooth but looks dewy. I definitely give that it gives my skin a smooth feel but it leaves a slight film that is not pleasant. I am not sure if it is the combination of other products that this balm does not settle in well. It was also an issue when using foundation/BB/Cushion because it doesn’t grab makeup at all. I will continue to use the product and test it out but i do think this has a great potential. 🍯

The name describes this perfectly, though. Once you rub the balm between your fingers, it melts quickly and has a watery feel on the skin. But it has a the feel of a nourishing cream on the skin. This would make a good sleeping pack because of how heavy it is. I have layered a sleeping pack over it, and it doesn’t pill.
