I’ve been using the #AIPPO Mud Deep Cleanser 3x a week for 2-3 weeks, this was provided at a discount from #08liter for review purposes. I have mixed feelings about this clay cleanser, while it’s luxuriously thick and rich and has a light pleasant scent, I find it just a bit too drying for my normal skin, my skin feels squeaky clean when I’m done and that’s generally a sensation I like to avoid! This may work better for oily skin types. Using it 3x/week seems to be the sweet spot for me-my skin is deeply cleansed but it doesn’t feel over-stripped like it might if I used it more often. The consistency is that of a mud mask so you need very little to cleanse your face. This contains red, green and white clays to absorb oils and clean out your pores along with seaweed and nutrient rich ocean water. This brand seems to be pretty natural based which I like, although info about this product wasn’t very easy to find. It has a nice scent, can't figure out what but it's not too overwhelming. I totally love how it can be used as a cleanser or as a mud pack! Shorten my routine to combine cleanser & mask pack (& satisfy my laziness requirement too 😋). It spreads easily though slightly thick & viscous. But after mixing with water, it get pretty foamy and lathers up quickly.  After rinsing my skin didn’t feel dry or tight, instead it felt smooth & sleek. When I use it as mud pack, it felt squeaky clean, and the dry part of my combination skin didn't feel hydrated enough. So I decide that for me, this was not for everyday's use, several times a week might be ok. But for oily skin or those with big pores, everyday use might be ok.

AIPPO’s Mud Deep Cleanser has reminded me how much I use to love mud masks. It seems as though about 85% of facial masks I used these days are sheet masks. Sheet masks seem to be extremely popular right now. Even checking out at my local CVS, i see multiple rows of sheet masks on that last min. (impulsive buy) display area near the the checkout. But... oh, there is just something gratifying about a great quality clay mask as it drys on your skin, & how fresh & new your skin feels as you wash away the “mud.” Yes, it is a little bit more work than a sheet mask, simply because of the messier application & removal of the clay like “mud.” However, there just seems to be a clean-like feeling to my skin that I have yet to discover in a sheet mask. Now, I 💕 l-o-v-e 💕 the ease & convenience of a quick sheet mask, ...but Mmmm, a Deeply Cleansing Mud Mask like this one by AIPPO, is sometimes the perfect treat! The Mud Deep Cleanser is a deep-pore cleansing mud gently and naturally exfoliates while revitalizing your skin and leaving skin clean and glowing. The mud and marine ingredients relieve your skin and leave you feeling refreshed after using. The cleanser comes in a sturdy squeeze tube and contains 150 ml (5.07 oz) and has a powdery scent. It’s kind of hard to squeeze the cleanser out and the texture is very thick. It can be used as a cleanser or as a mud pack. It’s not like a typical mud pack; it spreads easily and becomes slightly viscous. After mixing with water, it does get pretty foamy and lathers up pretty quickly. After using on my skin, it blurred the pores on my hand. Recommended use as a makeup remover is to apply an appropriate amount and rinse off with water, use a bubble maker to lather foam more effectively. As a deep cleansing pack, use 1-2 times a week, mix with toner to lather up and apply to skin for 1-2 minutes, afterward apply warm water to the skin and rinse off. After using, as a cleanser, this product is really nice and gentle and blurs pores as well as leaving the skin soft, it doesn’t dry out my skin whatsoever. As a deep cleansing pack, I found that leaving it on for a while could be kind of uncomfortable and once I rinsed it off, it left my skin with a “squeaky clean” feeling which I’m not a fan of. The scent of the product is very powdery but not overwhelming and I believe this product is ideal for people with sensitive skin and people with enlarged pores and acne problems. It cleanses well and I think it’s comfortable enough to use every day as a basic cleanser. What I like: the ingredients are really nice and you don’t require a lot to get a good lather to use as a basic cleanser. The scent is light and not overwhelming and after using just like a normal cleanser, my skin doesn’t feel dry or tight, instead, it feels smooth and kind of powdery. It also blurs pores and rinses off cleanly. This is great for people with sensitive skin as well as acne prone skin and for enlarged pores. What I don’t like: the fragrance can bother some people and I found it uncomfortable as a deep cleansing pack and didn’t like the squeaky clean feeling as it felt very dry. It’s also not easy to find to buy in many places. Rating: 7.5/10

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to try this Aippo Mud Mask Cleanser, @0.8l_usa! I’m a huge fan of mud masks because they draw all the impurities out of your pores! I was especially intrigued by this mud mask since it is a combo of 3 clays in one! The white clay is formed from ancient volcanic ash deposit and is supposed to help maintain a fresh and natural glow. The green clay, on the other hand, stimulates our skin’s natural defenses and purifies. Finally, the red clay is a mineral rich clay found within the Atlas Mountains and is well-known for its exfoliating and rejuvenating properties 💆‍♀️ • • The overall mask is supposed to absorb sebum from your face leaving your skin soft and smooth. What I like most about the product is that it doubles as a cleanser. When you add water to the product and give it a few rubs, it becomes a foamy consistency and functions like a cleanser so if you don’t have time to do a 20-minute mud mask you have the choice of using this method instead. I haven’t seen that big of a difference in my skin from using the product twice every week for 2 weeks, but I will surely continue to use it because my skin seems to be liking it. No breakouts so far! Also, I love that this cleanser uses all natural ingredients and isn’t too drying like other similar products I’ve used in the past 😊✨

Aippo Seoul mud deep cleanser is a cleanser that can remove residue from the skin, clean pores and prevent sebum. The white clays: Hawaiian clay and powder white clay. The Hawaiian clay has volcanic ash that has a high content of phosphorous and magnesium. Using this over time will give you a fresh and natural glow over time. The clay white powder is great for sensitive and dry skin since it's gentle. The green clay: Argile Verte Du Velay is found in clean areas around Southern France. I do feel like my face feels clean but it's a little dry for my skin but it's okay since I use toner and face creams to balance the little dryness. I think it does a decent job of cleaning my face. I give this a 7.8/10. I do think it does an okay job at cleaning my face but I need a cleanser that is a bit more moisturizing but doesn't make my skin too oily or too dry. AIPPO mud deep cleanser for all skin types is fantastic. When my face gets greasy on a hot day this gives me a clean refreshed face. Very lightly scented once washes off doesn’t stay. Aippo Mud Deep Cleanser (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) This is a deep pore, mud to foam cleanser and has several detox and purifying muds and clays: charcoal, bentonite, kaolin, Moroccan lava clay, volcanic ash, illite and montmorillonite along with some moisturizing ingredients of shea butter, argan oil, beta glucan and hyaluronic acid. This has a light scent to it, not unpleasant and this does remind me a lot of Glamglow's mud to foam cleansers. It comes out thick and grey in the tube and I actually use this as a leave on clay mask for about 5 minutes and then wash off, producing a ton of foamy bubbles which for my oily skin, does not strip or dry out my skin. This is not an everyday cleanser for me, but for when I feel my face needs some extra detox without exfoliation and to remove excess oil and unclog pores. I don't know if this would be good for sensitive or dry skin types as I am sure it has a high pH - most people who have dry or sensitive skin stay away from higher pH levels. . . This isn't a bad mud-foam cleanser - it works but it isn't terribly exciting. It feels like a cream cleanser, not a clay mask, which is nice. I'm not sure if it is a little too drying for me or not. Hard to tell. I think it would work well as the second step of a two step cleanse, if you like your second step more creamy than foamy..

I got to try out AIPPO Mud Deep Cleanser, for review purposes, from 0.8Liter. This cleanser is made up of white, green, and red clays. The bottle boasts the ability to remove residue, clean pores, and prevent oil secretion. Mud also has skin purifying benefits! I was excited to try this cleanser. I have been preferring mud cleansers over creams, oils, etc. This particular cleanser was so so. Strangely, my skin never felt fully rinsed. It always felt greasy/oily. This cleanser definitely is not something I would purchase again. Also, it did not fully remove my makeup!

Red, green, and white clays combine with mineral rich deep sea water and algae (so many questions about sourcing and filtering, seriously) offering a creamy mud mask + cleanser. I appreciate how this stays moist - yes, MOIST - as a mud mask. No tight, dry feeling; the hydration is really there. Now it could be my imagination but I feel like without that “drawing out” feeling, it’s not a true mud mask, but I also imagine this is similar to a cleanser like Ceramic Slip. You only need a tiny bit as a cleanser and it lathers and rinses well, leaving skin soft and not parched. I can’t find a full ingredients list anywhere in English, and that makes me nervous. One review I found reported that there is Shea butter, which might be a no-no for some people (it doesn’t affect me as far as I can tell.) I feel like this is the most lukewarm review ever, and I think that’s because I’m SPOILED by amazing cleansers. This is a good cleanser for rotation a couple times a week when I have the time to leave it on as a ten minute mask. . Would I repurchase at full price? Good for all skintypes. Review: I received this a few days ago, I was able to test it 3 times, once as a mask and twice as a cleanser. Since almost everything on the box was in Korean. I had to guess how to use it, obviously, it's a cleanser, but I wanted to see if I could use it as a mask. The first time I put it on like a mask and left it on for 10 mins. The texture was thick, like dried down Elmhurst glue. So spreading it around the face was hard. It didn't dry down but was easy to wash off. It didn't work as a mud mask. Which is a shame, cause you get such a huge bottle of it. The only thing I didn't like was the scent, very perfumy scent, that is oddly similar. I do not see fragrance in the ingredient list, but I'm not sure how reliable google image translate is. As a cleanser, you only need a pea size amount to get good foams, after rising I noticed my skin smooth and soft again and bright as well and I think my pore was cleaner, however after 1-2 days later. I noticed that I had a few new pimples, my old bumps were inflamed again and I have a huge bump on my deep under the skin on the chin. I checked SC after my breakout and they list 4 pore-clogging(Myristic Acid, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, and Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter) from the full ingredients. Granted, not all these ingredients will clog everyone's skin but some people may not handle them as well, usually oily types) However, I can't say for sure if this breakout was from this mask because I am testing other products and my diet/water intake hasn't been too good this week. I will continue to use this cleanser and stop other products and see if this is the problem, but I am nervous about using this again, cause, to be honest, the ingredient list is long and full of things I don't want in a cleanser.
