I love ginger and these chews tasted really delicious! I am always on the hunt for a great ginger product. What makes a great ginger product for me is the heat. Most ginger candies hold back and emphasize sweet too much. I don't know if I just missed the description or what, but I was surprised to find a chewy candy instead of a hard one. They are chewy like a gummy and powdered just a bit to keep them from sticking to the wrappers. Chewy isn't bad, I had just hoped for hard. My other issue is the use of sucrose (blend of cane and beet sugar: glucose and fructose) as I really prefer cane sugar for everything, and know that most beet sugars are gmo. I was disappointed to discover that AFTER I made my purchase. Again, this is my fault as I didn't read the description well. Other then that, it's a great tasting ginger chews and the taste is strong and slightly sweet unlike other brands that are too sweet. So if you love ginger, I think you will not be disappointed in this candy!

These were pretty good, it may just be that I dont like the taste of this ginger very much, but they were too spicy for my liking and not sweet enough. I love crystallised ginger, but these left kind of an unpleasant taste in my mouth, and the ginger was too strong. However, they make good snacks, and my kids loved them, so I would recommend! May not be for people who arent big fans of ginger, but as a whole a good quality product with a strong flavour.

The Price of Peace Orginal Ginger Chews are delicious and refreshing. The ginger taste is mild, the sweetness is just right and complements the spiciness, and the chewy texture is very toothsome. This is great. I received this for free and I want more. I started out with one and before I knew it I was chewing it all the time. They are individually wrapped chews so you can take them with you. It's taste is a blend of spice and sweetness. It has a bite to it that's perfect for the taste. There's only 4 ingredients in. It's a jelly that's great for after eating. I recommend this to anyone who wants a great taste that isn't too sweet or sour. Just good.

I've tried the original ginger chews. When I first started chewing it, it was gooey. Then I started to taste the ginger, it was minty. Not bad tasting at all. I liked it. It's not overbearing, it didn't get stuck in my teeth. The chews were very pleasing to eat. Since receiving my full size sample, I eat 2 day and 1 in my tea. Delicious and they taste like fresh ginger! They are very strong and spicy, but I love that! Chewy and not hard, but soft enough to eat like a soft Taffy. I normally don't buy ginger chews or candies. i only buy it when i'm not feeling well (for example, have a cold or feeling nausea). I like that these are individually wrapped so it's easy to share and to put in purses; no need to bring the entire bag or box. I tried one and to my surprise this was pretty good! Perfect chewiness with very strong ginger flavor but was not spicy nor bitter. Instead there was a hint of sweetness to it. My parents love gingers and i offered them some and they too thought these chews were tasty! I would definitely recommend these chews for those who likes ginger candies and chews. However they may not be best for elderly people especially if they have fake teeth. The chewiness might not be suitable for them to chew on; that would be my only concern. Otherwise i'm many elderly asians would enjoy this product! this candy is also great when you pair with tea -- the taste of ginger will compliment a warm honey tea very well and will help soothe your throat!
