This can be used as a spot treatment or all over the face! The pump container is a plus!!! I've been using it nightly as an all over treatment. It also absorbs super easily, with a gel like texture. The smell is a strong citrus fragrance that goes away very quickly. There haven't been much difference yet but it has made my skin feel alot smoother and firmer.

The clarifying treatment by Apothederm was sent to me for review and I am enjoying testing it out. This is a new company, American, which is a rarity from 0.8l (most are Korean). This serum can be used as a spot treatment or all over the face as a preventive, containing mainly salicylic acid as the active ingredient among other acids. I enjoy the pump container and the amount that is dispensed in one pump. I've been using it nightly as an all over treatment. It absorbs very easily, has a gel like texture and pretty strong citrus fragrance which dissipates very quickly. I've noticed it plays well with all lotions/creams/oils I've applied afterwards. I have to be honest and say I haven't noticed much difference yet however I've been lucky recently without having any blemishes to battle. APOTHEDERM ACNE CLARIFYING TREATMENT is simply amazing! It is gentle enough to not over dry your skin out and did not leave me looking like a crocodile, which is a huge plus once you have the acne under control! I was able to use the product every day, which is a huge plus compared to drug store brands, and by being able to do so, I was able to get me face cleared up and was to keep it that way! Normally, drug store brands dry my skin out and I can only use their product every other day at the most and it leaves my skin flaky and dry. This is gentle enough for everyday wear! Cleared my skin up within a week and has kept it that way! I am amazed!

I received a sample of the @Apothederm Skin Clarifying Treatment for free from @08.L in exchange for my honest opinions. I was skeptical about this treatment at first. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I was afraid that I would either swell up/break out, or that I would just see no effect. I was so happy with the results, even after just the first application. The package says that it can dry the skin out, so start with one application per day, and build up tolerance. I usually apply this a few hours before bed, let it sink in for a while, and then apply my nightly moisturizer to prevent my skin from drying out. As I have combination skin, I decided to just leave it at once a day, but I'm still very happy with the results. Though my acne isn't completely gone (if I were to apply multiple times, I'm sure it would clear up faster), I have definitely seen an improvement! I would HIGHLY recommend this product. My acne is stubborn - not much works to get rid of it, but this DOES. I'm amazed and will definitely be repurchasing. Apothederm Acne Clarifying Treatment is a "two-in-one problem solver to help eliminate breakouts and minimize pore size." It also claims to "help reduce the appearance of blemishes and future breakouts." It has 3 key ingredients: * Oligopeptide-10, a patented Smartpeptide that has anti-inflammatory properties. *Salicylic Acid, anti-inflammatory, exfoliate and helps reduce pore size. * Glycerin, a humectanr that draws moisture to skin. I've been using it every night and have found it to work with combating the breakouts that I did have on the side of my jaws/face. I noticed a difference after one night. The directions are to apply a thin layer on the areas in need, and then gradually increase to 2 or 3 times daily if needed. I find that once at night worked fine for me. Thanks to 08Liter, I was able to try the Acne Clarifying Treatment by the brand Apothederm. Now, I've been always suffering from acne since I was a teenager. Some medications works other do not. This treatment is a light clear cream that when apply it to the skin, absorbs easy and leaves my skin super soft. This lotion doesn't have any scent which is great for people who don't like things with scent. I've been only using this cream for a couples of days and I've already seeing results. It can blend easily with other products. I use it with a sunscreen twice a day and it works fantástic. I would recommend this product to anyone who suffers from acne. Brand name: Apothederm . . Product: Acne clarifying treatment . . What's it for? This product helps eliminate breakouts and minimizes pores. The formula contains hydroxy acid and smart peptides to help reduce the appearance of blemishes and future breakouts. It's oil and fragrance free . . The good: The formula is really light and doesn't feel like it clogs my pores. The box warned of potential over drying but I didn't experience that and I was using this twice a day. I can't for certain how much this helped my acne because my skin is finicky and breakout prone but it definitely reduced the noticeability of the pores on my nose. The formula is also super refreshing and made my skin feel glowy. . . The bad: I didn't notice any improvements with my acne. Maybe I haven't been using it long enough? I'll keep this updated if I note a change in the future. .
