I was able to try this product out and I have to say I am very suprised about how it made my skin feel like it was hydrated and clean. There was only a little clean up afterwards but that is okay it was to be expected.

Let's talk about the #aprilskin #mummymudmask shall we? I received a package of five of these in exchange for an honest review from #08L. I love doing masks of all kinds and one of the most effective types of masks for me are mud or clay masks, they really clean out my pores, remove oil and just clean my skin so well, however the worst part of mud/clay type masks is the removal. A quick and easier way to remove it to use a cheap sheet mask to kind of soak the mud off your face, wiping it after you've worn the sheet mask for a few minutes but you've STILL got to rinse. Which is messy! In comes this ingenious #sheetmask and #mudmask in one. The sheet has made d embedded in it giving you the best of both worlds. There's not much scent and the mud is wet enough to do the job but not drippy or messy which I appreciated. My skin was left clear, pores were cleaned out and smaller looking and my skin felt really soft and not dried out after using this. I've used it twice and really love this mask for a once a week de-gunking! Some thoughts a week in the making... When I received this Mummy Mud Mask, I was excited. I love @aprilskin_us and I've wanted to venture further into the brand! The second photo is from my first attempt last week, and the third is from tonight. I left it on too little last week, but much longer tonight. I'm feeling pretty meh about this. It's a great tightening mask, but the residue is both not cute and a bit dirty feeling. I've never tried a clay sheet mask, but normal clay masks, and I don't know if I'd venture further into clay sheet masks. I probably wouldn't repurchase this.

This is the only mask that I truly felt cleaned out my pores. As the mask dried I felt my skin get tight but not where it's uncomfortable. My skin looked healthy and clean. Super easy to use. I allowed the mask to dry completely and when I took it off it didn't pull my skin off. My skin was very soft. My skin felt clean of all impurities. Amazing.

Absolutely LOVE this mask! I'm a maskaholic, so I know a great mask when I try one. It didn't dry out my skin. It was VERY easy to use and not messy like lots of other mud masks. I didn't have to smear it on with my fingers like lots of other mud masks so I didn't feel like I was wasting product. It's the most evenly appliable mud mask I've ever seen. I will definitely be purchasing this mask!

I really love mud masks, and was excited about winning the April Skin Mummy Mud Mask from @0.8l_usa to review. My skin is a bit acne prone because I am a stressaholic and worry my skin to blemishes😐 This mask has ingredients like volcanic ash, green tea extract and witch hazel that helps remove excess sebum, dead skin, as well as fighting off blemishes. The mask is easy to apply and you wear it for about 30 minutes, or until the mask is dry. I have a pretty round face, but felt the mask has good coverage...there was even extra material around the nose and on my forehead. It leaves behind some mud to rinse off, but you are left with soft, hydrated and clean feeling skin. I also love that it's very gentle to my skin so I feel comfortable using it even on my most irritated skin days. I really think this is a wonderful mask and highly recommend it

I loved the APRIL SKIN Mummy Mud Mask! It's my new favorite! It was easy to apply. It dried completely in about 45 minutes and when I pulled it off it didn't feel like it was taking my skin with it, only the impurities. It left very little mess after I peeled it off. My first mud mask! I also have never tried a 2 piece mask! I love the packaging for the mask and that it came with 5! The top part of the mask was a little big for my face. The bottom half fit better, but I feel like it didn't stay on as good. The smell wasn't the best. I noticed that the top half was drying a lot more than the bottom. I'm not sure if I didn't put it on the best way or something. I had it on for the 30 minutes and it didn't really dry up that much for me. The most was on my nose and forehead. I'm going to try again since I have more masks and hopefully it works out better!

This is the first two part mask that I have ever used. It's a bit messy and somewhat complicated to use at first. You have to remember to peel the white part and the clear plastic part off too. Despite all that, I do think it helped clear my pores. There was a slight tingling sensation while I waited. After removing the mask, my skin felt so soft. The only thing I wish was different is the size which might only be an issue for me considering I have a smaller face. While our relatives were with us visiting, I needed to review the April Skin Mummy Mud Mask. To my delight, they wanted to try it with me! Scroll to see all of us rocking the mummy mask and some before and after shots of my niece and nephew too! The box set contains 5 mud masks. I love being sent a box of masks when I'm chosen to review because it's nice to be able to use the same mask multiple times, or simply to share the experience with others for a spa night. We had such a nice time doing this together as a family! So back to the review, the packaging makes it very easy to use. This two part mask comes in several protective sleeves which is important because the mask itself has kaolin (clay) and sticky substances that you want to get directly on your skin without making too much of a mess on your fingers as you apply it. It seemed to go on everyone's face pretty effortlessly, adopting a near custom fit whether it be on a 12 year old face or *ahem* let's just say an older face as well. Directions say to leave it alone for 30 minutes but leaving it on beyond that would only be more beneficial to pore care. The kids lasted 30 min. I didn't time myself but I was around there too. My sister in law did 45-60 minutes. The mask dries while you're wearing it and gets stiff, but not uncomfortable. Certainly way MORE comfortable than when you apply a straight up clay mask from the jar. When it's time to remove, the mask is peeled off gently and residue is rinsed away with water leaving sparkly smooth skin! We all enjoyed this mask so much and can definitely give it a thumbs up! Mini review. Thank you @0.8L_usa for letting me try this out. April Skin Mummy Mud Mask. It's a sheet mask soaked in a volcanic ash clay mud. Opening the package, I was a bit confused, I've never put on a mud sheet mask before.The sheet mask has two liners, front and back, one thick matte liner and the other a thin plastic. The mask comes in two pieces, top and bottom. You peel off the transparent film, place on the face, then peel off the matte film. It's not super messy, taking it out the package I thought I was going to get it all over but it didn't leak or anything. The film allowed for a clean and simple placement on the face. The fit is nice, hangs a bit over the nose but overall it sticks to the face well. The opaque look and the stiffness as it dries gives it the "mummy" look. To me, it smells like any clay mask, doesn't really have any fragrance to it. Rinsing my face I could feel how soft it left my skin. Hooray! For another great travel friendly option for a well loved product type. This did some amazing deep cleaning of my skin and lifted some flaky patches. Most mud masks leave me with dry and tight skin. I was impressed with how well it cleansed my skin, didn't irritate, soothed, and didn't have that tight feeling. I still followed up with some hydration in my routine anyway.

I really enjoyed using this mask, the mud felt cool and was very relaxing. I left it on until it completely dried and my pores definitely felt like they were getting tighter. It was easy and painless to take off but it really reminded me of nose pore strips, it feels exactly the same when taking off and as it tightens. I have sensitive skin and it didn't give me a bad reaction, my skin was left smooth and less oily.

I received the AprilSkin Mummy Mud Mask for review. It came with 5 sheet masks in the box. It has Hawaiian clay, calendula flower extract, kaolin, green tea extract, witch hazel. It removes sebum and cleans your pores. I personally loved it. Each mask has 2 pieces that are very easy to put on. It took about 45 mins. to dry completely during the process it tightened on my face and felt cool. It was very easy to remove with no pain. 🌚Scent: earthy, fresh scent 🌚Fitting: The two piece mask came with two protective layers and it adheres wonderfully on my face. As for the fitting, I had to fold up the nose flaps as they were a bit too long. 🌚The opaque clay mixture liquid from the cotton mask actually stains wherever it touches. The application was quite messy, to be honest. 😑 I waited 30 minutes per instruction and the mask dried down making it easy to peel off 🌚After I washed the excess clay mixture residue off my face, the result was a clean, smooth and radiant face✨ The mask did a great job absorbing impurities without drying out my skin. I noticed the unclogged pores ( which was also less apparent) with blackheads peeking out ready for extraction. In addition to the pore care function is the noticeable brightening effect which I was very pleased with 🌚Although I'm not a fan of the application at all, I'm very impressed with its effective pore care and sebum control👍🏻Gotta love the unique idea of clay sheet mask. I also love the brightening effect ✨plus the clear English instruction was super helpful🙏🏻! .

[Review]...I received a box of 5 Aprilskin Mummy Mud masks free for review from @0.8l_usa 💜 This was my first time using this mask or a mask like this..this mask is like having a mud mask but in a sheet mask form. The mud seems to be in the mask already. This mask is supposed to be great for clearing and purifying your pores. I don't really have blackhead issues but I do seem to have sebum buildup at times in the summer. This mask does work for that purpose. I left the mask on for about 30mins it was completely dry and easy to peel off, I face felt extremely tight and was a little bit red, so I usually follow up with a moisturizer to rehydrate. The fit was ok, I have a full round face so it didn't fit great around the face but it covered important areas like nose cheeks and forehead where most people have blackhead issues. The mask I'm sure does what it says, but for me I'd probably only use it once a month and only in summer.

I've never tried a mud sheet mask before. Applying it requires you to peel off plastic layers (that keep the mud from drying out or smearing too much). I find this more wasteful and messy than a traditional mud mask. But removing the sheet mask left little residue and was a quicker clean-up than a traditional mask, and left my skin feeling just as smooth and purified. It was considerate that instructions were in English and the mask comes in two pieces for a better fit (even if the nose flaps were way too long and actually interfered with my breathing). Plus, it's good for scaring children and the elderly. :)
