This Klairs sunscreen was exciting for me because it claims to moisturize without stickiness (perfect for my #dehydratedskin) and also cools and calms redness. It contains ingredients like sodium hyaluronate, ferments, lavender, ginseng, eucalyptus, and citrus peel oils, The things I liked about this lotion were that the product is creamy and does seem to moisturize nicely. It was easily spreadable and felt cool on the skin. What I disliked about the product is that it has a strong blue hue that leads to an unusual type of whitecast. It will absorb eventually, but it takes some time. It doesn't have a strong scent. I tested this during work days as well as on vacation at the beach. I always wore makeup over this sunscreen, and it played nicely with a variety of bases (stick foundation, BB cream, concealer). Even on hot days at the beach, it held up well. It doesn't claim to be a sport formula, and I didn't test it as such, but was a fine choice for a summer day. I'll continue to use this to test it further before deciding if I'll repurchase. I'd prefer an everyday sun cream without the whitecast (although this does go away eventually - I rarely have extra time in my mornings!) Otherwise, it checks a lot of the boxes I look for in a sunscreen.

This is the Klairs MID-DAY BLUE SUN LOTION. It has SPF 40 Pa++. I have gotten accustomed to Asian sunscreens mainly because of the consistency and smell. My favorite is the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence. This is my Holy Grail and I like it because it's thin, absorbs well and has a very subtle scent. Therefore the Biore sunscreen really doesn't feel like a sunscreen. With this being said the Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion is not for me. I don't like the scent I feel like it is too pungent and herbal for my liking. I also don't like the thick consistency because it doesn't really absorb into the skin. This really just lays on top of the skin. I also don't like the white cast it gives my skin. However, this does a the job at protecting your skin. It's not a bad product compared to many American brands of sunscreen. It didn't really clog up my pores or break me out. Overall I wouldn't call this my favorite but I do appreciate the opportunity to try this product because I'm in LOVE with so many other Klairs products. I am super picky with my sunscreen. I want the texture to be right, the color to be nonexistent, have high protection, and not irritate my skin. Very few sunscreens meet my standards. Unfortunately, this sunscreen does not sink in very well and leaves an odd color on the skin if you do not rub it in really well. For me this sunscreen takes way too much work to get it to sink in and make the color disappear. I really wanted to like this product, but I have found since receiving it, I avoid it because I have so many better ones to use. In order to not be wasteful, I have been using it on my arms and hands. If you are not as picky about sunscreens this could be a good one for you. It’s not too expensive, and the ingredients are great! I wouldn’t write it off completely.

I did my first 5K a few days ago, and this #klairs #BlueSunLotion with SPF 40 #SunBlock was perfect for it! I applied the light #MiddayBlue #SunScreen just before I left my house; about 7:00am, and left back home around 12:30pm. I was outdoors for approximately 5 hours, and it protected my skin perfectly. I know the importance of wearing sunscreen all year round, and it's important to me for the product to contain natural ingredients on top of working. Some of klairs Mid-day Blue Sun Lotion ingredients include; Arginine, Lactobacillus Ferment, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Lavender Oil, Lemon Oil Peel, and Orange Peel Oil. It's good for all skin types, and can be applied to face and body. It did absorb quickly into my skin, is non-greasy, leaves a shine-free finish, and is great for protecting skin from both UVA and UVB rays.

🔷Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF 40/PA++ 🔷This everyday sun lotion was made to protect skin from harsh UVA/UVB rays that may contribute to skin damage and premature aging. Made with SPF 40 to shield skin & fortified with Gualazulene, a natural chamomile extract that gives this lotion an ice blue color, to soothe and even out skin tone. 🔷The lotion itself is lightweight, and I notice no oily feeling, no greasiness after applying and the blue tint is fabulous at correcting any redness in my skin tone. My skin does feel a bit moisturized and hydrated due to the added sodium hyaluronate in the formula. 🔷What I also notice is a visible white cast left when the lotion absorbs into my skin. It is hard to spread on to my face because it tends to dry very quickly so I'm getting an uneven look. I've read previous reviews saying that it seems to spread out better in a humid climate and I live in a very dry climate so that might have something to do with it. With makeup the white cast will blend away and my foundation seemed to stay in place longer, so it does act really nice as a primer/base before makeup, and that is how I will be using the rest of this product. 🔷Overall, it is a good sun lotion with notable ingredients such as lactobacillus ferment, panax ginseng root extract, and various botanical oils to brighten and smooth skin. Unfortunately, I don't think that I would purchase this though because it's too hard to achieve an even application and I sometimes like to wear just sunscreen without my makeup on. Once I saw that @0.8l_usa offered the Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion, I knew that I absolutely had to get it!! I have been trying out other Klairs products for the past month and I have to say I absolutely love this brand! This is the first product I have been trying from their blue line, therefore I am very excited to continue using this! I have been applying the sun lotion for the past few days and here are my results! Absorbability: The sun lotion absorbed well into my skin! I do recommend making sure to blend the sun lotion well before applying any products afterwards. For me, it was very light weight, non oily, and did not cause any irritations. Staying Power: The sun lotion continued to stay on my face and I did not have any problems in regards to its staying power. Functionality: The sun lotion did its job in protecting me from the sun! Since the sun lotion contains guaiazulene, I do feel that it helped with reducing the redness of my acne prone skin. I did notice that my skin felt hydrated and it had overall brightened my skin tone. Overall, I enjoyed using this product and will continue to use it in my skin care routine!!

First of all, the sun screen is a cool icy blue color, and I think that that is super cool in its self! The packaging is super cute and matches the color of the sunscreen itself! Absorbability: The sunscreen had a bit of trouble getting blended and absorbed into my skin, but this is most likely becuase I put it on after my whole skin care routine. I had to rub it around a long time in order for it to finally soak in. As you see in the pictures, I put quite a bit on my face, so that might also have something to do with the difficulty I had getting it all to soak into my face. I would not put so much on again next time I use it. Staying Power: It did a good job staying on my face, there was a little bit of clumping in my eye crease, but again, excess product will do that to you. Functionality: It blocks the sun from hurting my skin, so I would call its functionality great~
