This is one of three Klairs products that currently make up the Blue Line--contain an ingredient guaiazulene that is not only known for having a blue hue, but also acts as a soothing antioxidant when used in skincare products. Claiming to protect from sun and from heat, this sun cream is highly sought after not only as a great sunscreen, but also because it helps balance out redness. The Mid Day Blue Sun Lotion is extremely unique because of the product's color--of the sunscreeens I've used, I have never seen one like it. I also appreciate its effectiveness--I was pleasantly surprised I typically avoid products that are unique in this way because, more often than not, quality tends to be sacrificed. That is definitely not the case here! . In regards to formulation, it is a very light product and works great once it is absorbed. It Asiago does a great job of balancing my skin and acts as a wonderful primer if using makeup after. Patting the appropriate amount and letting it absorb before proceeding with makeup is the best route for sun creams and this is no exception. . My only complaint would be in using the cream bare faced. I feel it leans a little too far on the bright end of creams aka its being a blue hued cream helps tone any redness but it also lightens so any one of a medium or darker skin tone may not be fond it's formulation because it will leave a white cast, especially if not absorbed correctly or too much is used at one time. I feel it may not be for everyone because of this, but really only if using alone. . For a sunscreen, I feel it's definitely worth checking out, especially because it's one that differs so much from many available in Western markets--the formulation of Korean and Japanese sunscreens will make most people gain a new appreciation for wearing sunscreen regularly. Also, the fact that this one not only protects from both UVA and UVB damage but also has skincare ingredients is a plus! I love this sun cream by Klairs! Well, I love anything that helps to protect my skin from all those harmful UVA and UVB rays! I've actually tried their toner as well and absolutely loved it! I like how this sun cream is not thick and pasty like others that I've tried before in the past. It blends quite well but I do have to say that it does leave a teeny bit of a white cast if you accidentally put too much on. I also like how lightweight it feels on even though it's a cream product. I'm happy that I got to try out this sun cream for only $3.99! Thank you so much .08liter for all these great products!

Today I'm reviewing the Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion. I am outdoors quite a bit, so I am always applying sunscreen with a high spf to my face and body. First off, I love the scent of this sunscreen, it's very medicinal. If you love the smell of herbs, you'll love this. I think in skincare, this type of scent gives the product a much more natural feel. Another great thing about this product is it's absorbing ability. It has a very thin texture, and so it spreads into the skin easily. It applies great under makeup, and it leaves no white cast whatsoever! I would highly recommend this for any skin type, but especially for oily skin, because it has such a light texture that it's not like adding another moisturizer onto the skin.

The sunscreen smells like florals the first few seconds, then the typical sun screen scent comes through. The lotion has a pale blue tint from guaizulene(extract from chamomile plant; soothes/calms irritated skin), so it kind of neutralizes the redness in my cheeks. It does leave a white cast though...which I don't really mind because I like being pale. The consistency spreads easily, but it is a little on the heavier side, so I'll be saving this for the colder months. It'll especially be good for the dry winter skin since this has soothing properties from guaziulene and centella asiatica extract!

Another case of a fomo driven purchase…I’ve seen Klairs Mi-day Blue Sun Lotion SFP40 PA++ all over the interwebs and had major fomo. When it magically appeared on 0.8L_USA Try it Now, I figured why not! All of the Klairs products I’ve tried thus far have been hits and I love sunscreen so where could it go wrong?  Boy, was I wrong. This lotion contains both physical and chemical filters and provides both UV protection and heat protection.The star of the ingredient is guaiazulene, an ingredient that naturally dyes the cream blue and soothes irritated skin and reduces the redness from UV rays. *Note: Guaiazulene is one of the last ingredients listed, meaning there is probably very low concentrations of it in the formula. . Although everything sounds dandy and I like the idea of something that reduces redness and heat, when I applied the sun lotion it left a horrid blue/white cast. I was eventually able to blend it in so i looked a little less Smurf-like but in certain lighting you could definitely still see a white sheen 👎. The sun lotion is supposed to be fast absorbing but it took a good 10-15 minutes for the visible blue/white cast to somewhat fade. . The first time I tested it, of course, I thought it was a good idea to try it on a work day 🙄. (Note to future self: don’t try new products when you’re short on time!) By the time i saw my Smurf-like complexion, I didn’t have enough time to wash it off and reapply sunscreen and skincare. So in hopes of looking a little less ghostly, I attempted to apply some tinted powder on top. Then came the pilling… . All in all, this sun lotion was a disappointment 😒. I had high hopes for it but it fell short. Unless you’re very light-skinned, then it’ll most likely leave a visible white cast. It doesn’t absorb quickly and didn’t play well with makeup. Another product from @0.8l_usa getting a first impression review! 😆 This is the @Klairs.global Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40/PA++. ~ FIRST IMPRESSIONS REVIEW This is my first product from Klairs, yay! I was super excited when it popped up on 08L and just had to grab it. So I’ve had this sun lotion for a few weeks now and I really like it. It’s a very light blue lotion and smells like a faint floral sunscreen. I’m super pale (porcelain is usually my foundation shade) so the white cast wasn’t really noticeable to me. I like that it tones down my redness, doesn’t clog my pores, and absorbs really quick. I was also happy that it didn’t leave my combo skin oily. Not sure yet if I would buy it in the future, but I will keep using this until it’s empty. I’ll also say that this isn’t for everyone, it leaves a significant white cast. So you either have to be very patient and wait a while for it to absorb in or just add makeup over it. Basically if you are in a rush, it’s prob not the SPF to reach for. I was curious as to just how bad the white cast was, so I asked the bf to be a hand model for 20 minutes. I'm a mutt; Native American & European mixes. Unfortunately, I got mostly light skin genes. Unfortunate because I spend A LOT of time outdoors fishing and I burn like a lobster. That being said, I have tried thousands of different sunscreens from all over the globe. I got to try Klairs Mid-Day Sun Lotion recently and I have to say, it's one of the good ones; especially for use on the face. It has a very light scent and doesn't smell strongly like many American sunscreens. The light blue cream absorbs very well and doesn't leave a greasy film sitting on top of the skin. That is probably my favorite part; because it absorbs so well, it doesn't drip into my eyes if I start to sweat a little. This doesn't burn my sensitive facial skin and provides very good coverage for fair skin. I definitely enjoyed this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a daily facial sunscreen that will not only work well under makeup but will provide hydrating protection to sensitive skin.

When I first tried this I noticed that it was blue (my favorite color 😆) and thought that was interesting... I noticed it left a light blue cast to my skin, but I thought it absorbed away. Upon using this more after the initial use I don't think it actually absorbed ever. This bluish cast is a bummer because otherwise I have no issues with this sunscreen. It is easy to rub in with a texture and scent I enjoy. I am able to wear this under makeup with no issues, but it annoys me to have to restrict a sunscreen to days I will definitely wear makeup. Oh well... this was something I bought at a reduced price ($3.99) on @0.8l_usa but I don't plan to buy this again for full price. So, this is quite possibly my favorite @0.8l_usa purchase through the Try Now feature. Purchased this at the discounted price of $3.99 in exchange for a review. The entire @klairs.global line just appeals to me. The formula was pretty light and absorbs into the skin nicely. There is a slight white cast until it sinks in, which I didn't mind. The scent and color is still that beautiful blue chamomile perfection. 💙 On days where I apply makeup it seems to go on smoother and stay fresher looking longer. Highly appreciated as my skin gets shiny pretty quick. Lol! I applied some today after a morning mask and that's what my skin looked like after I was done. ^_^ This will be a definite repurchase!

Klairs Mid-day Blue Sun Lotion SPF 40 PA++ When 0.8l this as part of their Try Now program for $3.99 USD, I snapped it up. How could I not? I'm a desert dweller and it's summer time - Sun protection is a necessity. The sunscreen itself has a fairly typical scent to it, and it's this easily spreadable light blue lotion type. That blue tint comes from the Guaiazulene in the ingredients, which is featured in other klairs products due to its soothing factors. This would be, and for me has been, good to have in a sun protection or aftercare product. This comes in a 50ml tube with a twist-off top. For myself I prefer the twist-off tops to the flip tops, so this powdery blue tube is safe enough to throw in my bag and not worry about leakage I will say that this is moisturizing enough that I can go without a lotion on the days I decide to reach for this one. There is significant white cast with this, but it does fade over time. That said, if you're hurried and don't feel like dealing with a white cast - you might want to reach for something else. This did protect me fully from a sunburn, but as the day went on I noticed my skin getting a shine to it faster than it would typically. It's a nice enough product, but I don't know if I would really repurchase it at full price. I would prefer something that can help keep my skin more matte through the day

I was really looking forward to trying the Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40/PA++, but unfortunately this sunscreen just did not work for me. It’s a thick baby blue paste that smells faintly herbal. It does not spread easily on my skin and does not absorb well. It somehow made my face feel dryer than normal, even though I changed nothing else in my morning routine. Worst of all, it leaves a terrible white cast! It’s been downgraded to a hand sunscreen and I will continue to use it up as such.

Review: Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF 40 PA++ ● I'm glad I got to try this product, as I've read reviews raving about the product and really like Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream. For $20, you get 1.7 oz of product, so it's more affordable than some other sunscreens out there, but unfortunately, I don't think I would repurchase this at retail price. ● ● I would only wear a PA++ sunscreen when I know I'm going to be indoors all day long, so I don't see myself reaching for this item very often, as I've got other sunscreens with PA+++/PA++++. I don't think it provided a "shine-free finish" as the product claimed. Immediately after application, my combination skin looked rather greasy and I had to blot with a tissue to take off the excess oil. My T-zone usually starts to get shiny by late afternoon, but with this sun lotion, I found myself reaching for a blotting paper by around noon. ● ● The blue tint did seem to help alleviate the slight redness on my cheeks when I applied it, but my foundation already does a pretty great job at covering up my redness anyway. I was disappointed to find out that guaiazulene (the plant extract responsible for the name "Blue Sun Lotion," known for its soothing, anti-inflammatory property) is the second to last ingredient; I would've expected it to the higher up in the ingredient list. The sunscreen does, however, include additional beneficial ingredients such as arginine, sodium hyaluronate, panthenol, ginger root extract, centella extract. ● ● I thought the "waterful texture" would mean I was getting a sunscreen similar to Biore Watery Essence sunscreen, but I was disappointed to find out that it's actually very different: thick, white, and definitely not "fast-absorbing"-- should have realized that one as the product is a "lotion," not essence or gel. I have a light-medium skin tone but I could see some white cast after application, and even after waiting for about twenty minutes, my face still looked too pale. ● ● I received this product at a discounted price from #08L in exchange for my honest review. ● ●

This product is a physical sunscreen, according to the description has a waterful texture, ice blue shade and shine free finish. It comes in a 50 ml (1.7 oz) squeezy tube. The directions say to apply this product at the last step of skincare and wait 15 minutes prior to sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours as needed. After using, I found that it very nicely brightens up my skin and it does have a slight fragrance but it fades after a little bit. The scent is kind of like sunscreen but not really, lol. When I first used this product, I used it after a gel-cream was used and I found that the product kind of flaked off, but after using a different cream moisturizer the product blends in well and doesn't flake off. Over the regular moisturizer, the sun lotion really blends in and absorbs so much easier. The feeling of lotion is really soothing and I felt like it did a good job of protecting my skin from the sun. However, I do think if you have very fair skin, you should really try a product with a higher PA rating. What I like: this sunscreen is very creamy and it doesn't have a super noticeable scent. I like the blue correcting feature of the guaiazulene in the ingredients and this sun block feels pretty long wearing. This product is very high quality and it's not streaky and doesn't really leave a white caste and it has many beneficial ingredients. What I don't like: this does seem to have an issue with certain moisturizers and flakes off. Rating: 7.5/10 ----- really recommend for people with a lot of redness in their skin.

This sunscreen comes housed in a handy little 50ml tube that is easy to dispense from (those a flip-too cap would have been easier than a screw-off cap) and secure enough to toss in your bag. The sunscreen is pale blue in color and has a noticeable scent. It's hard to describe but it's like a mixture of soap and "old school" sunscreen. The lotion itself feels smooth and not too thick, and does spread out easily onto the skin. The issue I have (noticeable in my close-up photos) is that it clings to any patches of skin that aren't perfectly smooth. It also does not absorb well despite being a mixture of chemical and physical sun filters. I chose photos from a day spent at the fair to show that the sunscreen does hold up through a day of walking around in the heat, and it did protect me from sunburn. But the horrible white-cast and the pronounced adhesion to flakes on my skin doesn't make this a winner for me.

⭐Skincare Review⭐ So I have been testing the @klairs.global Mid-day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40/PA++ for about three weeks. This was provided to me at a discount by @0.8l_usa in exchange for a review. ⭐Claims: Provides UV protection, maintains moisture, soothes damaged skin from sun and heat exposure, keeps skin bright due to blue color, and moisturizes without stickiness. ⭐Key Ingredients: Guaiazulene, Titanium Dioxide, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Niacinamide, and Zinc Oxide. ⭐Scent: A fresh scent,  probably due to the oils in the sunscreen. ⭐Use: This is a physical sunscreen that has a blue tint due to the Guaiazulene. Spreads easily and evenly.  Does have a pretty significant white cast but it goes away after about 5-10 minutes. It does keep my skin very moisturized,  so I don't use a lotion when I use this. My skin is combo dry and right now Texas is in the triple digits so after a few hours my skin does look a bit oily. If you have oily or combo skin I think this would work best during the Fall or Winter months.  I did really like this sunscreen, however you must have patience to let the white cast fade.  If you're in a hurry this won't work, lol. It didn't clog my pores and didn't irritate my skin which is great! Would consider repurchasing.

The Mid-day Blue Sun Lotion was a good sunscreen but not a great one. It had a bit of a white cast but spread well. It had a pleasant smell but my face got a little oily. This soothing blue cream will be my sunscreen for drier, cloudier days. It absorbed well, but it made my skin quite oily by my late afternoon blot (and that 4pm blotting only happens if I feel oily.) With this sunscreen, I felt quite oily and was surprised that the blotting sheet pulled away so much. I also did not like how the sunscreen smell came through despite the essential oils. I'd prefer those oils not to be there since they don't even mask the sunscreen smell very well. . I enjoyed the soothing qualities of this cream. It didn't sting my eyes and my skin felt calm and comfortable. I'll use it up during wintertime when the weather is cooler and when I go harder with exfoliating.

Klairs Midday Blue Sun Lotion was amazing. I applied it on my face the past weekend when I went camping. It stayed on my face very well and did not leave any sticky residue. I was very impressed with this product. I would HIGHLY recommend it. Here's my review for Klairs Mid-day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40/PA++ I wanted to try this sun lotion for so long and when 08liter offers it to try for $3.99 I know I have to get it! The first time I used it was good under my primer and bb cream but the second day it might "added to" clogged my pores near my nose area but I still continue to use it because it's so light and never leave a white cast plus it gives me a shine free finish! So I been using this mostly everyday when I'm working and I like it. I also use this for my ears and neck area. I would recommend it, kudos @klairs.global and @wishtrend
