I think for me personally, I would stick to dry shampoo and a more cost-effective serum for greasy days, however, who I think these swabs would be really useful for is people with curly hair. The swab would fight greasy-ness without needing to be brushed through and without looking powdery on an already generally dry texture, and the serum is creamy and nice.

Unfortunately, this is the most disappointing thing I’ve gotten to review. The swab comes with lots of cleaning fluid that smells very strongly of alcohol. Despite all that alcohol, it doesn’t seem to freshen my scalp. I rubbed it all over (not just on my part) and I think the alcohol made my scalp feel itchy within an hour. My scalp does tend towards irritation and flakiness, and this product didn’t help either. In fact, it seemed to exacerbate the problems that it claimed it would fix. . The leave-in conditioner weighed down my short hair. I could only imagine it working well for long hair. Even drier hair types might want to avoid it because of the of alcohol it also contains.

This review is hard because I really liked half of the product but didn't like the other half. The first section is a cotton swab to help fight dandruff and reduce scalp itchiness. This part I loved! I dont' have a ton of dandruff but I do have a dry scalp that itches a lot and the swab relieved my itchy dry scalp quickly and effectively! The other side of the product is a hair serum to help tame frizz. I found this to be thick and made my hair feel greasy. I may have used too much but I feel like since this product is in a foil packet a lot of this product would be wasted (since it's meant for on-the-go). I also didn't care for the smell. everyone knows @0.8l_usa has opportunities to try amazing products free to review but did you know they also have a buy category? i purchased this Dr.ForHair folligen easy swab & styling serum at a discounted price of $3.99 to review. there is a great bonus that comes along with this & i just couldn't pass it up. . pros: i like that this pair of the swab & serum are individually wrapped so you can travel with them easily & take them on-the-go. i like the size of the swab, it's very big which allows you to coat your hair quickly. i also like the scent of the serum, it's a very subtle clean smell that is not overpowering at all. the styling serum at first made my hair appear slightly greasy but once it dried it made my hair look & feel super smooth & straight with zero fly aways. . cons: i do not like the smell of the swab, it's very potent & unpleasant. at first it smells like apple cider vinegar but that quickly dissipates and then it just smells very chemically & a lot like rubbing alcohol as well. i also felt like there was too much product on the swab. while i was trying to apply it to my scalp it was running down my hand & my arm. i also found that it kind of burnt a little bit and i don't know if it's because there was too much product or what but i did not like that. because the swab was so drenched in product it also made my roots appear wet & greasy which is a big negative for me. i honestly don't know if this helped remove dandruff or not because i don't really have that issue but it did help with dry, itchy scalp. . overall to me this product is just eh. it may work great for others but i wasn't very impressed with it. #drforhair #folligeneasyswabandhairserum #easyswab #haircare #kbeauty #08L

When trying the Folligen Easy Swab & Hair Serum by Dr for hair I wasn't sure if it was a thumbs up or a thumbs down and here it is why... the smell.... when I opened the swab part i was excepting to smell like apple vinegar at worse... but no it smells like rubbing alcohol... and I personally don't want to put something that smells like that in my hair... but I give it a try. It feels really cooling and did relief my itchy scalp. I don't have dandruff more than average people so I can't tell about this part. The serum has a herbs kinda scent and is thick but once dry we can't tell there is something in my hair, it does reduce the frizzy ugly hair that dress on my head through the day. I wouldn't recommend to use this product daily... and don't think that $11.80 for 5 uses is a good value. I have not notice any differences with the hair swab yet but the hair serum is a plus. The serum give my hair this healthy glow and silky beautiful look. If you have curly hairs, GET THIS SERUM! Use in the morning without any touch up by night time it is still straight. Will repurchase again.

I received this product for my honest opinion so here it goes! I was excited to read that Dr For Hair help with frizzy hair. All though I don't suffer from dandruff or itchy scalp, but I have very frizzy hair so I was willing to give it a try. First step was The swab felt nice and had a cooling sensation. I hated the scent! It smelled like medicine for sore muscles. Second step serum, this was a generous amount even thou I have long and abundant hair, it was enough. The serum felt light and non greasy. It felt good but did nothing to tame my frizzy curls and once again the scent was over whelming. This product is not for me. My husband dose has a little dandruff and he really enjoyed the swab. But thought the same about the scent.

I love how this two part system works. I do suffer from itchy scalp and dandruff once in a while. At first I didn't think it worked too well but after it fully absorbs into the scalp I can feel that it work. When you apply it into your scalp it has a nice cooling effect and the step 2 makes your hair very soft. The instructions are a bit lacking but I would do it in the morning when you haven't washed your hair. Application probably every other day or once a week since it only for five times use. It would help to get someone to do the back of your scalp too.

This is a cool concept! It has a two part process. It comes with a swab for the scalp. The swab helps calm the scalp, and it also helps with dandruff. Then it has a cream to aid the rest of the hair. I noticed a difference in frizz. It automatically controlled my frizz. My hair gets so frizzy. You can see in my photo that my frizz is under control. The packaging was super interesting it has the Q tip on one side with a substance that feels like alcohol and it burns when applied on the scalp but the serum on the other side does make the hair kind of clean but not really I made sure to use this product with dirty and unwashed hair so I can see the actually results but when I woke up my hair was still dirty and disgusting that I had to wash it I was not impressed by this product at all

I did not care for this product at all. Despite the ease of use, it irritated my scalp and made it itchy, which is what it is supposedly to resolve. I tried it with dirty 3rd day hair, 2nd day hair and clean hair. No matter the circumstances, it irritated my scalp and the serum was too heavy with all the silicone no matter how sparingly I used it. Attempted to load the video I made of me using it, but I was unable to. Please see my Instagram for video @soskindalous. I think the swab has too much alcohol which tends to be drying on any skin. The silicone creates smooth and shiny finish but it's a coating that doesn't actually soothe the scalp or the dryness of my hair. While it didn't work for me , it may work for you.

Dr. For Hair Easy Swab and Hair Serum is a solid product. It delivered on its promises for the most part. I was especially excited to try this product after learning about the benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar for hair. The product comes with five packets of single use satchets, making them perfect for traveling and on the go. Each packet includes a swab for scalp care and a styling serum. The swab was great for natural cleansing and soothing my dry, itchy scalp. It felt similar to using salicylic acid for dandruff but with the added benefit of ACV and botanical natural ingredients. The styling serum is more the consistency of a lightweight hair cream than a serum. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it did adequately moisturize my hair, despite its lightweight formulation and helped tame the frizz. This product is a great way to incorporate ACV in your hair care routine without the weird smell.

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this product. I like the idea of it but I don't think it really worked. This swab smelled highly of alcohol. I don't wanna out something that smells like alcohol on my dry scalp. The serum was nice and made my hair feel smoother, but the swab didn't do it's purpose.

This is a two step scalp relief system. The first step is the swab (swipe) which you run along the hairline and your scalp. While I enjoyed the tingle it leaves behind, I wish there was an easier way for it to be dispersed on my scalp. Maybe a mist or something? The swab has a strong scent; almost like Vicks. The second step is the serum that you work into your hair, concentrating on the ends. It felt like a watery cream to me and was easy to spread. In the end I'm not sure this really did anything for my hair, but I like to think I'm giving it as much care and my skin 😂. Also just a note-no idea where the gift card is suppose to be.

I have been testing this product for about two weeks now and I'm pretty pleased with everything. First of all the packaging is simply genius , it's small enough to fit in the back pocket of my jeans or even a small coin purse but it has enough product to cover your entire scalp and hair even if your hair is super long like mine. My hair is super brittle and thin and curly so it's very hard to find a product that is light enough that won't increase my terrible hair fall and breakage . But I'm please to say this product is so light and thin it doesn't feel like it leaves any residues and my hair fall did not increase . My dandruff has actually decreased a noticible amount and my scalp itchiness has gone from 10 to a 2 in a matter of days . This product relieves the itchiness almost instantaneously and leaves your scalp feeling minty fresh , which is a pretty good feeling mostly when you have been wanting to tear out your scalp . I recommend this product to any person suffering from dandruff or flakes on their scalp, it has been a life saver for me.

I received a five piece set of Dr.For Hair Folligin swab and hair serum for free from @08l_usa in exchange for my reviewing the product. The swab is for itching to the scalp and can treat a variety of issues causing itchiness to the scalp such as eczema psoriasis, dermatitis from allergies, dry scalp, dandruff to name a few, as well as hair loss. Folligin is a product used for baldness and hair loss and stimulates hair growth. As for myself, I have dermatitis sometimes from an allergic reaction to hair products and if I can treat the allergic reaction right away it doesn't progress. I never had a treatment I could take with me until now and this product is a swab that is applied on the scalp and can be carried in my makeup bag or purse. The swab is saturated with fermented apple cider vinegar and plant extracts and All I do is touch the swab to the places on the scalp that itch and the relief is soothing and immediate. The packet also contains a hair serum for frizzy hair and it did treat the ends of my hair and the new growth so that they weren't frizzy. The smell of both the swab and the serum is light and pleasant and a great product to have on hand.
