This product is basically a #DeepConditioner that's supposed to repair #DamagedHair, and leave it looking healthy and shiny. I have fine, wavy, naturally dark brown #AsianHair, which is professionally colored every 4 months. When I let my hair air dry, and I've truly brushed or combed it out, it still looks a bit messy or tangled. That's the texture I work with daily. Since I have oily skin, my scalp is also oily. I love hair products! I spend a lot of money on my #BalayageHighlights, because I live for that #SunKissedHair. But I don't want my hair to look and feel like straw. Doing deep conditioning hair treatments is key to ensuring my color stays fresh longer, and my strands get much needed love. This product is like a thick, creamy lotion. A little goes such a long way! My pathetic dry ends greedily sucked up all the moisture. I don't use this product anywhere near my scalp, as it can easily clog up my pores, as it's super rich. I'd definitely recommend this product! It made my hair feel so soft. I had less tangles to deal with too. When my hair air-dried, it actually looked as though I had a great blow-out, with a flat iron finish. It wasn't just a one-time deal either. We had an excruciating heat wave here in SoCal, so I washed my hair more often than I'd like. My hair still felt silky-smooth even after a few washes. I will be deep conditioning more often now. After burning my hair due to dying it too much and straightening it daily, it became very dry and coarse. Using "Calm down nourishing hair butter" after I shampoo and deep condition my hair has improved the dryness and helps my hair to not puff after air drying. I can feel how soft it is as soon as I put it on my damped hair. Definitely recommend this for people who have dry hair that tends to puff after drying.

This hair butter is amazing! I had my doubts. I have tried many things for my damaged hair and nothing works. That is until I tried this. I could see and feel a difference in my hair after the very first use. I washed my hair and put this hair butter on my hair. I made sure every strand was covered. I waited 5 minutes and rinsed it out. Then I used my conditioner. I dried my hair and noticed a difference right away. My hair looked so good. It wasn't dull. It was moisturized and soft. Simple packaging. It's a thick consistency. Reminds me of glue mixed in putty. It has a strong citrus herbal scent. Not too fond of the smell but it does subside. I used this as a hair mask. I air dried my hair and was surprised to notice that my hair wasn't drying into a huge frizz ball. I can actually just leave my hair natrually because it looks that good! My hair looks healthy and it didn't weigh down my hair. It has volume and a nice bounce to it. I'm speechless and I'm able to get past the scent because the results are astonishing!♡

Planist Calm Down Nourishing Hair Butter is a naturally derived leave-in-conditioner for repairing and nourishing damaged hair. 22 of 27 ingredients of this product are naturally derived such as Peruvian Quinoa, South African Marula Oil, Iclandic Moss, South African Rooibos Leaf Oil, and Tibetan Goji Berry Extract for moisturizing and strengthening hair. Also, 97% of ingredients of this product are EWG 1-2 grade which is a big plus. I naturally have wavy thick hair and I always straighten it because my curls usually turn to frizz. It is really easy to use this Planist product, I usually apply a dollop of this thick creamy leave in conditioner to my towel dried hair and let my hair to air-dry. This product did not make my hair feel heavy and did not leave any gross residue. I have only used Planist Calm Down Nourishing Hair Butter a couple of times but it helped to restore my hair's softness and shine. The container is pretty large and I think it will last at least for six months. This product has a strong smell but it doesn't last long. I believe this Planist product really helps keep my hair moisturized and tightens up my curls. Also, this condition leaves my hair silky soft and nourished shiny and I have no more frizz. I am so thrilled I was selected to try Planist Calm down nourishing hair butter. I have used other "butter" products in the past, but the texture and feel of this one were different. I really liked the consistency, and it absorbed extremely well. I noticed when I was massaging into my hair how thick and rich the product itself felt, and the scent was intoxicating....very natural, very calming. This product contains 27 ingredients of these 22 are natural ingredients!! How awesome is that. Its rich in ingredients like goji berry, rooibos leaves, Iceland moss, Peruvian quinoa, chamomile oil, bergamot oil, orange and mandarin oils. The scent of this hair butter is a bit strong, but since is a conditioner you rinse off it wasn't a problem for me. I also enjoyed the texture of these treatment. It felt almost like rubber. After shampooing I leave it on for a good 20 minutes and rinse. It leaves my hair soft, detangle and with a lot less frizz. I was happily impressed. I would definitely buy it! Thumbs up

The ingredient list makes it look like a face cream by including quinoa, marula oil, icelandic moss, rooibos tea and goji berry. I don't think these food items do as much as the oils included, but it's kinda fun to have them join the hair party. It also has a "skin friendly" pH of 5-6 and the fragrance is minimal and is a light essential oil blend to avoid irritation. . . . This has a slighly chewey texture but sticks well to wet or dry hair. I find using outside of the shower as a long mask seems more moisturizing that when I use it as a 3min mask in the shower. . . . I wouldn't say this is an HG hair mask, but it is easy to use, has a light planty odor and softens the hair without weighing it down.

This product smells very refreshing, a herbal?/citrus scent, and it has a very buttery feel just like it's name! I applied it to my hair after shampooing and left it for 3 minutes or so and rinsed off. I applied my usual hair treatment/conditioner afterwards but my hair feels softer a lot longer than usual using the hair butter!

Planist Calm Down Nourishing Hair Butter is what I needed for my color treated hair. This thick white cream like a super whipped conditioner smells fresh and light. Marula seed oil, peruvian quinoa, olive fruit oil, bergamot peel oil are the two noticeable ingredients that caught my eyes. I've been using this as my normal hair conditioner in the shower (let it on for 3mins before rinsing it) and as a leave on conditioner as well and both works well on me. It added shine and my hair feels so soft and tames it from being frizzy. Overall all I use this product like 4-5 a week and I like it.

You need to apply this butter after you shampoo for 3 mins and then wash off. The fragrance is very good, it smells like lemon. I really liked the fact that it is made up of natural ingredients. The texture is very thick just like butter, but very smooth to apply on hair. I have dry and frizzy hair, it did calm down the hair upto some extent but i still feel my hair lacked moisture. I have super thick and frizzy hair so I was super excited to try out the Calm Down Nourishing Hair Butter from Planist. I also live in an area of high humidity so I also like products that can help with the effects of humidity on my hair. I wasn't a huge fan of the smell but I did like that it was made with natural ingredients. The consistency was super thick but I was able to work it into my hair easily. The hair butter left my hair soft and less frizzy than normal after it dried. This product was great in adding moisture to my hair but didn't leave it feeling greasy. I would not use this product everytime I wash my hair but I've been using it about once a week and love the results! I received this Planist Calm Down nourishing hair butter free from #08Liter for testing purposes. After shampooing, I massaged this into my hair from about halfway to the ends. Once it had been left on for about 3 minutes, I rinsed. I let my hair dry naturally, periodically running my comb through. Once dry, I took a tiny bit more of the product (less than a pea sized amount) and smoothed into my dry hair to help relive some frizz. First, the product smells awesome - very herbal and relaxing. Second, I really felt a difference in the texture of my. It was definitely softer and more smooth. I also felt like my dry ends were hydrated. The packaging design of this hair butter is really nice and has a minimalist feel to it. The texture of this hair butter is luxurious and yes, it does feel like butter. It's a bit hard to get out of the jar, because the product coagulates together, and you have to sort of pinch it out. Applying it is simple: you just shampoo, apply the hair butter and leave it on for 3 minutes while you wash the rest of your body, then rinse it out. I have very dry curly hair that hasn't reached its full curly power because nothing deeply moisturizes it enough. I was very hopeful that this would do the trick, but as you can see, it didn't make enough of a difference. My hair feels a bit less coarse, but in terms of appearance, it looks just as dry and unnourished as it did before. Only a few extra curls seem defined in the back, but those were really already formed before. Key ingredients: Icelandic moss, south African rooibos, Tibetan goji berry, Peruvian quinoa First impressions: the texture is like cottage cheese and it does not have a scent. I usually like my hair products to have a scent, so I was not expecting this. I left it in my hair for 2-3 min and then rinsed, and immediately my hair was silky smooth. I blow dry my hair daily, so I know my hair gets some heat damage which I like to combat with conditioner and a heat protectant spray, so this hair butter was perfect for me! Although it didn’t have a scent, it was highly effective and left my hair silky smooth without being weighed down. Planist Calm Down Nourishing Hair Butter is great! My hair from damaging of coloring and stylings sometimes feels like straw. This hair butter is super moisturizing for my dry and brittle hair. Has a unique texture and an earthy scent, my hair has healthy hydration and noticeably softer. There's less breakage. Tamed my frizzy hair. Apply to scalp if you have dry scalp. This hair butter left my hair feeling super soft. I unfortunately could not find any directions in English, so after shampooing and conditioning my hair I applied the butter and let it sit for five minutes before rinsing it out. A little bit goes a long way, and I will get many uses out of the container. It has a natural, light scent.

Thank you 0.8Liter for letting me be apart of another campaign! So I got to try this planist hair butter and review it for you guys. I have no idea if it's my hair or the product but my hair is color treated and it just made my hair dry and very hard to brush. My hair is not very damaged but I'm still trying to get it back to perfect health and this didn't help very much. The smell is very nice and it's a very thick cream, goes onto hair wonderfully. After your hair drys, it's very soft and silky. Over all it's not something I'd use everyday.
