They had me with just the sparkly bits of gold leaf foil suspended in the glycerin formula then I saw it also included ginseng & honey and was targeted to "aging skin" and there was no holding me back. I had to have it!! It's an awesome set including a super soap dish & a cleansing sponge. So cool!! I love tiny details. The soap is a pretty fantastic glycerin formula. The gold in it is purported to have a rejuvenating effect on skin as well as act as an antibacterial & healing agent. Similarly, ginseng promotes anti-aging with its potent antioxidant properties & phytonutrients including brightening & improving skin tone. Honey in the mix adds further moisturizing, soothing, healing & antibacterial properties. I was definitely attracted to this potent mix of ingredients. While it is too preliminary to see long term results, I was very pleased with the overall initial performance of this soap. It's extremely gentle, foams up with a rich thick lather & rinses super easily. I haven't experienced any sensitivity to it and it always leaves my skin feeling soft, never drawn or tight. While this soap is targeted to aging skin types, I think sensitive & dry skin types would benefit from this formula as well. I have to say, I never tire of seeing the beautiful pieces of suspended gold leaf - so pretty, so inviting. It makes me feel like a queen 👸🏻 every time I use it. It is expensive at $50 for the set so this is a very high end soap. I don't have many $50 soaps. Lol!! I can't say I would repurchase at that price. I just don't have the budget for that. I wish I did though and I recommend it to those who do. I haven't seen enough results yet to justify it but I'm not counting it out. After rinsing, my skin felt really clean but surprisingly not stripped. My skin had smaller pores, felt lifted and had a tight feeling. Some dry unexfoliated on my face stood out too but a toner quickly solved that issue. 💆 The sponge that came with the bar is super gentle and great for sensitive skin! It's only been 5 days so I haven't noticed any antiaging or skin renewal yet but I'm sure the Red Ginseng in it will give me good results. . I received this medime gold bar cleanser for the trial price. this is actually my second bar I bought...also, when I first got it I opened up and could smell the ginseng right away. I like the way it smells. it has gold flakes inside the bar. the bar itself is very foaming and lathers really good. it is supposed to be for anti-aging but I haven't notice any anti-aging effects. i bought it again because it cleans well. I would give it 5 stars. it is a little high though, it's 50 bucks. I would say if this bar did give me anti-aging effects I would pay that price. but I haven't had it long enough to notice anything yet. I do like it and will continue to use it!!!

Medime Gold Care Cleansing Bar (courtesy of @0.8L_USA) has been sold in pharmacies in Korea for over 20 years! It contains 24K (99% pure) find gold particles, red ginseng, honey, silk, olive oil and squalane (they show a shark fin, so I do not know if it is shark derived or they use the common symbol for squalane). This soap has some claims that I don't know if are true or not .. "The gold fine particles contained in the MediMi Gold Care cleansing bar penetrate deeply into the skin as it touches the skin, creating a low current between the cells to promote energy conversion and thus make the skin young and beautiful." I do know ginseng is good for aging skin and contain ginsenosides ~ numerous studies that show this is effective as a anti-wrinkle, anti-aging, anti inflammatory and brightening ingredient and can aid in the production of collagen. It helps increase elasticity, improves blood circulation to your skin and also is a superb moisturizer. Ginsenosides are compounds only found in ginseng and are an excellence source of anti-oxidants. Honey is not only moisturizing, but an antibacterial whereas olive oil and squalane are highly moisturizing. I do not have the full list of ingredients as they do not disclosure that. . . The soap is beautiful ~ it is a golden translucent bar of soap that smells strongly of ginseng, which I love. You can see the gold flakes in it, but they do not scratch or tear at my skin. This came with a plastic holder and pink facial sponge, but I didn't need to use the sponge as the soap lathers up beautifully ~ I just wet it and rub between my hands and a thick lather appears. I have oily skin and this actually is very moisturizing ~ I can feel a film on my skin even after I rinse it off, so I make sure to go over with my Foreo to remove that moisturizing film as it is too much for my skin type. However, I love how soft and supple my skin is ~ this does have a high pH of 9, but my skin doesn't feel stripped or dry, but the exact opposite. I received the MEDIME Gold Care Cleansing Bar at a trial fee from 0.8L and MEDIME in exchange for my honest opinion. The MEDIME Gold Care Cleansing Bar is made with 99% gold, red ginseng, honey and squalene (derived from olives and shark liver oil). It is recommended to help with the reduction of wrinkles and the improvement of elasticity of the skin as well as giving the skin a youthful appearance. The gold flakes help to massage and gently exfoliate the skin as well. The soap came with a handy soap stand with holes for drainage in the bottom and a special sponge to help massage the skin. The soap is a transulcent gold which showcases the 24K gold flakes. I could smell the red ginseng scent through the box it came in even though the soap was wrapped in plastic. It is a very strong scent which I personally love. It has a soft lather which feels luxurious on the skin. I used the sponge a couple of times but I prefer to just use my hands. I have even used it to remove make up. It did a great job except for the fact it stung my eyes so I won't be doing that again. Besides that I really enjoy using this bar from the scent to the lather to how clean, glowy and soft it leaves my skin. I would definitely recommend this product!! I have purchased it twice.

Hey, guys! Here's another super cool product courtesy of 0.8L and Medime. I love this soap! It comes with its own soap holder and sponge. Now I don't have to worry about my good soap dissolving in 3 days! This soap is 99% gold. It whisked away all my makeup with no hard scrubbing. It left my face feeling very clean and soft. Brighter too! 😃 No fragrance that I could detect. Hooray! I can't recommend this soap enough. It's very effective and gentle. This product smells amazing! Like honey and ginseng. Visually it's stunning as it has flakes of gold mixed into it. It comes with its own soap dish and facial sponge. It feels really nice when washing your face. It dried out my skin and left it flaky. This product is better suited for oily skin.

I was so excited to try #MEDIMEcleansingbar! I received this product at a discount from #0.8L This facial cleansing bar has high ratings and contains natural ingredients (honey, ginseng, gold flakes). This bar is supposed to act as an anti-aging product but I wasn't able to substantiate these claims as I have only used it for 4 days. The scent of ginseng is very strong, almost overwhelming, and it honestly overpowers my bathroom (which could be good or bad, depending how you look at it). The packaging was good and I like both the soap dish and sponge that comes with it. I feel like the sponge adds a luxurious touch to washing my face. The gold bar is supposed to be great for makeup removal, unfortunately I found the product works well on removing foundation but not on eye makeup. Another con for me was the dryness I feel after cleansing. It most definitely leaves your skin "squeaky clean" and tight. As a sufferer of dry skin, this is not optimal condition. Overall, if you like the scent of Ginseng and have oily/combination skin then I would recommend this bar. if you have dry skin, I'd avoid this.

The first time I used the bar, I felt a stinging sensation, like my face was being pricked by a ton of needles when I was washing the soap off. My face felt very clean but not over drying or stripped. I’ve been using the bar for the past few days for my morning and nighttime routine, and my skin seems a tad bit dry. I also feel that my fine lines seem to be more pronounced. I wouldn’t recommend this bar for dry skin. Maybe oily skin would benefit from this bar. Some ingredients: It has 99% gold, which you can see, red ginseng, could smell this from outside the packaging, honey and silk. Results: this cleansing bar was a surprise. I'm not usually a fan but this one won me over. It lathers up smoothly, the sponge is soft and felt wet but really wasn't. I used half my face straight hands, bar and hands while the other side with the sponge. Both created the same lather, while washing my face I felt that squeaky clean feeling which usually means my skin will be super dry, but nope! I don't know how much this is helping my skin, it looks and feels about the same but with continued use I'm sure my break outs won't be nearly as often. The smell is very strong and make sure not to get it in your eyes. Thank you 08 liter for the great opportunity to try this product out at the special price of 3.99, I'd recommend it to anyone who has trouble with acne. It came with a sponge and a tray so you can put it in to dry off instead of melting as it is a glycerin type of soap.

I cannot have enough face cleanser, so was super excited to tried this bar. Honestly I do not notice any different after couple uses of this product. And it has this very strong herbs smell that I cannot stand. So if you are someone who is sensitive to smell, this product is not for you.

I love this cleansing bar. I use it on my face daily to wash away impurities. This bar cleans the face leaving it white and glossy. This bar did not irritate my skin so it’s a good product in my book. It has anti-aging ingredients which I need since I’m not getting younger. I like that it comes with a holding plate and it’s own sponge. The sponge is soft and help with removing any dirt on the face. No bad comments on this bar. Thanks to @0.8l_usa & @medimeplus I was able to try the 24k Gold Cleansing Bar for a trial fee of $3.99. This bar is said to be 99% gold also infused with red ginseng, honey & silk. You can clearly see the gold flecks throughout the bar. This is advertised as an anti-aging bar. I have been using this product before bed and in the AM. There is a really intense ginseng scent when you use the soap. It personally doesnt bother me. But i think it could be a little overwhelming for some. When washing with this bar, my face is left extremely clean. Like squicky clean. I personally like this feeling as I have very oily skin. But it makes me curious to its anti-aging abilities because usually those products are super moisturizing. I personally didn't find that to be the case here. Even with my oily skin I needed to use my toner, essence, serum after using the soap. Over all I think this is fantastic, and it is accompanied with a holder do avoid undue wasting of the soap and there is a pink cleansing pad that really helps to get that extra scrub in. The price tag is a little hefty. The site has it on sale for $35. Reg $50. To me thats a little steep for a bar of soap. But if by the time I have used it up I look a couple yrs younger, i will definitely repurchase.
