I got @wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water from @0.8l_usa for the trial price of $3.99. When I first got this I wasn't sure how to use it so I looked it up for more info. I found that this should be used after washing my face and before using toner. This water is a gentle exfoliator that prepares the skin for the rest of your skincare routine. This is a very gentle product. I use it about 3 times a week by applying to a cotton pad and then wiping my entire face and neck. The directions say for less exfoliation to dispense the liquid into your hands and then pat it onto your face. I have had no adverse reactions to this product and it's recommend for people who are looking for a quick, gentle exfoliating prep water. I plan to purchase this again because I like using this on nights that I do sheet masks and sleep packs. My face has also become brighter and clearer with continued use! Next up in my set of Very Late 08L reviews is the By Wishtrend 5% Mandelic Acid Skin Prep Water. I was expecting this to be a mediocre replacement for Pixi Glow Tonic, but it surprised me! Not only do I really enjoy the feel and scent of this, but I can honestly say that I've noticed a difference in my skin with consistent use. I'm usually a "go big or go home" kinda girl when it comes to acids, so I thought this would just be more like a slightly astringent toner to swipe on my face when I felt grimy. However, I ended up sticking it in my routine right after cleansing, and I noticed that my skin felt softer and looked clearer the more I used it. I like dabbing it onto a cotton pad and swiping it over my face to clean up any residual cleanser mess, then flipping the cotton and swiping once more for a gentle combo exfoliation. I plan to RP this soon, because I'm almost out and I don't want to go without it! I'm not usually a big fan of most Wishtrend products, but this is a pleasant surprise and definite exception. It's incredibly gentle but still obviously effective. It's also affordable and lasts awhile, which I love.

I then squeezed harder which made the little shaker top pop out and skin prep water went EVERYWHERE. My dog was trying g to lick it, my daughter was playing in it - it was a nightmare. After the explosion, though, I was able to get some product out! (I really wanted to share this story, so thanks for reading, lol) I will say that I never felt any tingling or stinging when patting on my face. I do get a little tingle on my nose and chin when applied with a cotton pad. I do like the way my skin feels after use (I use at night), it just feels clean. The Skin Prep water is a exfoliant that will help improve your skin tone, texture, and hydrate your skin. I have combo skin thats more dry, and this is a product that if someone tried to take away from me id attack them. I love it so so so so much! I use it and wait 20 minutes before I use anything else, and by that time I notice an immediate difference. My skin is sooo soft and so hydrated it looks like I just did the 7 skin method with only I layer. The next morning I have the glowest skin ever. I use 3 times a week in my night routine and I find that this is enough. This is really mild and doesn't make my skin flare up. This is the best exfoliator ever, and it really helps with acne and the scarring too, even with the little bumps you get after you have an acne mark, as soon as you use this it will almost to completely disappear. Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from almonds, that can be used daily due to its larger molecular structure which makes it less irritating and suitable for all skin types including sensitive. It is supposed to improve complexion, and also it has anti-aging and antibacterial properties. Other beneficial ingredients are: * Beta-Glucan (moisturizing, redness reduction, anti-inflammatory, and soothing effects), * Panthenol or vitamin B5 (moisturizing, improving the skin’s abilities to regenerate and to maintain hydration, anti-inflammatory effect), * Centella Asiatica Extract (regenerating damaged skin), * Sodium Hyaluronate (attracting and helping retain moisture inside skin), * Arginine (anti-aging effect, restoring and rejuvenating skin, healing wounds), * Licorice Root Extract (evens skin tone), * Chameleon plant extract (antibacterial effect). Guess I should mention that it's not a toner, it should be used after cleansing and BEFORE using toner. You can apply this product on your palm and lightly pat into your skin or use it on a cotton pad for more intense exfoliation. I like the packaging, it's simple but looks classy. It's easy to dispense the right amount. Using it for the first time I could feel the tingling, but it never happened after that. Today I am going to be reviewing the #Wishtrend #Mandelicacid 5% product I received from @0.8l_usa for the trial price of 3.99 in exchange for my honest opinions. This is advertised as a gentle, hydrating chemical exfoliator formulated for non-irritating, daily use. Mandelic acid allows for gentle exfoliation of skin, evens skin tone and texture. Additionally, this prep water is suitable for acne prone skin due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. The packaging is minimalistic but easily recognizable within the Asian beauty community due to its cult status. The mandelic acid is itself very lightweight, a clear, light golden brown color, and was rather liquidy in texture. It has a strong scent that is noticeable to those with a sensitive nose and can be described as unpleasantly abrasive however I like the scent. I have been using this product for more than two weeks and can attest to it being a great chemical exfoliator for sensitive skin because I didn’t experience any irritation to my sensitive skin while using this product. I will say that when I used this gentle chemical exfoliator that each time I used it I didn’t notice much difference or improvement in skin texture or tone. I also notice that my skin did not feel particularly hydrated after using this product but rather it felt tight, sticky, and a bit dry as o waited for the product to absorb into my skin. It’s possible that I didn’t notice much results from this product due to my previous use of a stronger, more effective Aha/Bha toner product. For the first month of testing, it would sting like little pin pricks on my skin but for this past month (second month testing) it has been fine. I pour a little on a cotton pad and gently wipe / dab it on my face as a first step after cleansing. This says it can be used daily and that’s what I had tried, however it’s to much for my skin. I found that 2-3 times a week is best and to not use it after exfoliating. I have seen some of my sunspots fade out a bit while using this, so that’s great, however my skin is also quite red after I use it. I do like that it does leave my skin feeling smoother.
