The MIZON Snail Recovery Gel Cream is one of my Holy Grail products. I love it and have several tubes stashed around my home and office. This product has no scent and is very moisturizing. This is a lightweight gel moisturizer that claims to repair skin by lightening acne scars and dark spots, and reducing fine lines. It is made of 74% snail mucin aka snail goo. The texture was, as it claims, light weight and non greasy, although it had an unusual but non-offending smell. Of the short time I have had the chance to try this product I can't say that I have seen any drastic improvements to my skin, therefore I can not determine if it's something I would repurchase. Mizon snail recovery gel-cream contains 80 percent snail secretion filtrate. Which the snail mucin secretion that repairs damaged skin and make it clear and smooth. It has hyaluronic acid that helps the skin keep moisture and smooth skin. Centella, portulaca, and green tea extract prevent skin troubles and protect skin from the outside harmful factors while soothing skin. Adenosine that helps with wrinkles and firms the skin. I tried the Mizon snail recovery gel-cream before and it has been one of my favorite Korean beauty products. I find it very useful when I have dry skin or sunburn because they cool the face and help bring back moisture to the skin. It also helps when you recently had a breakout. I just dap a little of this gel-cream at night and in the morning it's less red and my skin looks calmer. It has a gel-like an appearance and has kind of musk scent to it similar to the smell of aloe. I really like sometimes putting it in the refrigerator and when I need to use it I can put some of it on my face and neck or spot it on where I problem areas. Mizon's Snail Recovery Gel Cream- Multi Function Formula: My first thoughts on using a product with snail slime in it was GROSS, but hearing how packed with nutrients such as hyaluronic acid, glycoprotein, proteoglycans, and antimicrobial and copper peptides- it has to be good for the skin, I thought why not?! Snail goo is my go to when it comes to repairing and smoothing my skin. It prepares my skin nicely for the next step in my skincare routine which would be in the am followed by a primer and color corrector and foundation etc....And in pm followed by a heavier moisturizer if necessary. During summer months this is all my combination skin needs as far as a moisture seal. By that I mean a barrier to lock in my serums and essences. This review is my honest opinion✨💕 First of all I've been dying to try this for years but never had the drive to purchase it. I have oily to combo skin and I love using gel creams as a daily moisturizer. 💥 This gel cream has 74% snail extract 🐌 which helps promote healing of the skin that means it aides in fading acne scarring, fading dark spots and wrinkles. Don't worry, the snail filtrate is harvested cruelty free!💕 This formulation also includes floral and botanical extracts such as centella, green tea and lotus.⭐️ So far I'm liking it, not holy grail status as I've only been able to use this a few days but it does hydrate my skin and leave it soft. Only downfall is that it does take awhile to dry down, it stays quite tacky on my skin well after it was applied. I highly recommend for oily to combo skin since our skin will drink this up. I received this gel cream from @0.8l_usa to try for testing purposes and to post an honest review. I was not compensated for this post and all opinions are my own. .  BeautyNetKorea MIZON Snail Recovery Gel Cream . This snail recovery gel cream is nice. It made my skin feel soft on my hand. . The issue I had was that the inside of the box smelled awful, it was a rotting smell. Which made the tube smell awful. The cream did not smell bad and the foil seal was still intact. The shipping box did not smell. I threw the box away and took the trash out because we couldn't stand the smell.
