Review for : Multi Function Formula Snail Recovery Gel Cream (has become somewhat of a cult fav) Primary Ingredients: Snail Secretion Filtrate (74% or 80% I've seen both listed), hyaluronic & glycolic acid, botanical extracts, panthenol, olive oil, allantoin, centella and green tea *additional ingredients below. For all skin types but ideally oily & combination *see warning below No artificial color/fragrance No parabens This formula is non- sticky, light, clear and refreshing. How to use: Apply an appropriate amount on face after cleansing, dabbing until absorbed. Can also be used as a night cream or soothing get. (Store it fridge) **I was only able to use this product for a few days(mail delay) so I'm not sure of the longer term benefits yet. My initial opinion is that it is very mild and soothing. It is a great product to use when you are feeling a little puffiness in the face. I haven't really decided where to use this in my skincare routine yet but I've applied it under moisturizer and primer and it did well. Overall it is a nice and inexpensive addition to any skincare routine that can be purchased from various retailers. Yes! I would purchase again and recommend to a friend.  Warnings:   Acids can be strong irritants depending on pH levels. This means when you layer it on other products, there is a chance you can have a reaction if the pH levels are off. Because of this, I strongly suggest you test snail mucin on a patch of skin to check for allergies. Also try using it alone after a pH balancing cleanser. . "First" Impressions of the famous Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream! 🐌 I actually tried this quite a few years ago when I was just getting into skincare/AB, so I bought this from 0.8liter to try again and compare with my trusty Cosrx Snail Essence! ⠀⠀ I honestly don't have much of an opinion on this so far because I find that it takes a while to see any effects from snail products. I actually never saw any results from this gel years ago, so I switched to the Cosrx essence and never looked back. ⠀⠀ This is a very light gel cream that absorbs into the skin very quickly. It does have a very faint scent of some sort, but there's no added fragrance in the ingredients. ⠀⠀ It features 80% snail secretion filtrate, but doesn't feel sticky at all. It also doesn't have that trademark gooeyness (lol) of the Cosrx Snail Essence. I also find it's not that moisturizing, so it would be great as a layering product for most skin types. ⠀⠀ I'm planning on doing extended split face testing with this and the Cosrx Snail Essence, so look forward to that! I know lots of people consider the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel as their HG, so it'll be great to compare!

I've been using the #mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream for a little over a week. I like the gel texture. It sinks into the skin but if I use too much it feel sticky until it fully dries. The "MIZON snail recovery gel cream" is a nice gel cream if you need a lightweight moisturizer. It absorbs fairly quickly and has a nice texture. My skin is kind of dry right now because I am using Accutane, but normally this would be enough for me. I have heard of snail gel cream for some time now and I can see why it is such a hit. I love it for my oily skin because it doesn't leave any residue. This is NOT a moisturizer but it does leave the skin feeling nice, silky and moisturized. If you have dry skin maybe you will need an actual moisturizer after using it. After using it my face didn’t have redness left and my blemishes diminished. It doesn’t have a harsh smell, I was worried it would smell like chemicals but you can barely smell anything. My other fear was of it being too sticky but its doesn’t leave the skin tacky at all. With just a few uses I can’t believe how good my face looks I will definitely keep using it! This can be used daily and I really recommend it.

This gel cream contains 45 ml (1.52 oz) and has a light cream feel that becomes tacky after a little bit. It comes in squeeze tube packaging. The cream smooths out and almost feels watery before it becomes tacky. There is a slight scent of alcohol, but not too overwhelming. It has the snail scent however, which if you use snail products you'll know what scent I mean. It smooths out and really penetrates the skin, the tacky base it leaves I think is a great attribute if you intend to apply makeup afterwards. Recommended use is to apply an appropriate amount on face after cleansing and dab into skin until fully absorbed. After using, it really moisturizes my skin deeply, which is great for people who really suffer with dry skin. It's very soothing as well and the scent dissipates quickly. I feel like after a while it tones down the read in my skin and really keeps my skin feeling dewy and hydrated for hours and hours. The ingredients include 80% snail secretion filtrate which is awesome for skin nourishment. I'd recommend this to anyone with dry and/or sensitive skin. What I like: the texture is really nice and light and it doesn't feel like it weighing down your skin. The moisture factor really lasts a long time and not a lot of the product is needed to cover your face. The ingredients are nourishing and I love how it evens out my skintone and takes away any irritation almost immediately. What I don't like: the slight alcohol scent is my favorite and this product can also be expensive and it comes in quite a small size of 45 ml (1.52 oz) so it doesn't last very long. Rating: 9/10 ------ recommended for dry and sensitive skin.

You guys!!! This is my new must have item! It is light weight and effective. I know, I know, I was grossed out by the thought of snail mucin, but it turns out this stuff is pretty amazing. I had a brutal stress breakout and I was researching this product for my review and came across several reviews speaking to its success with acne so I gave it a shot that night and when I woke up, minimal redness and almost no inflammation. I was amazed and have put it on my face twice a day, every day since.

This is a quite literal first impression. I just got this product yesterday and have only gotten to use it twice, so I really cannot say if I am going to have any issues with this product. I have not broken out yet, but that can happen up to two weeks into using a new product for my skin. I picked up the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream for $3.99 on @0.8l_usa in exchange for my review. I do like the texture of this, I love gel creams. This went on my skin easily and absorbed fairly quickly. No irritation as of yet, but I will need to use it longer to see the real effects on my skin. I can use this as a day moisturizer or I did use it once under a sleeping pack and it worked well. I think this will be something that will work out for me, I'll be sure to give a full report in the future since I only got one day and one night use.

🐌Mizon Multi Function Formual Snail Recovery Gel Cream 🐌 . Alright let's just dive straight into this review. This was the first real product I've used from mizon. I used one of their sheet masks before that I really liked so I was excited about this one. . The texture is not thick but not thin, definitely in the middle. It's definitely a gel and not a watery cream even though it may look that way. I find it works better when I pat it into my skin rather than spreading it. Also you're not getting that weird snail mucin texture that most snail products have!! . The moisture level is very low, very nice for hot summer days, just wish I had this handy during this summer. Now that we're approaching winter I don't think I'll be grabbing this too often but I do find myself reaching for it in the mornings right now. . I like to layer this with a semi moisturizing anti wrinkle cream and I feel that duo works the best for me and I'm getting the most moisture and then I usually slap on a sleeping pack as well. . I definitely think this might be a good a moisturizer for those people who have oily-to combo skin as it's not too mattifying and also not too hydrating at the same time. . As a person with sensitive skin, I didn't feel any irritants which I really enjoyed. . Overall I really liked this product and I will continue to enjoy it.

I didn't have much time to test this product from @0.8l_usa, @beautynetkorea and @mizon_official, but I love it so far. Snail Recovery Gel Cream seems to be one of Mizon's best sellers. It's a very lightweight gel that is chock-full of amazing ingredients such as 74% snail mucin, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, allantoin and a lot of botanical extracts (Centella Asiatica Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Camellias Sinensis Leaf Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract, Betula Platylphylla Japonica Juice, Olive Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil) for repairing skin and reducing redness, acne scars, fine lines and dark spots. I love that it's not greasy or sticky and doesn't leave any residue. I'd recommend storing it in the fridge for extra cooling effect. Another trick is using it as a sleeping pack - I wake up with replenished, beautiful skin. Also, it's probably good to know that it's not really a moisturizer, it's more of a treatment for different skin issues, so you might still need a moisturizer after using this, especially if you have a dry skin type. My only issue with this product is that it doesn't have any scent which is a plus for a lot of people, but I prefer a little bit of fragrance in products. All in all, I love this Gel and will consider repurchasing. I had the opportunity to try a snail sheet mask a few months ago and it was great for my skin so I had to give this gel cream a try. I was not disappointed, I have sensitive skin and a lot of products irritate my skin but this was perfect. It left my skin feeling super soft and moisturized, the formula is so light that it did not cause any breakouts or irritation. I highly recommend this for anyone that has acne prone or sensitive skin, it's amazing.

I never thought that I would have to deal with PIH from acne in my late 30's :( These are some new zits that I picked up on my recent travels. They popped a week ago and that's about the same time I started applying Mizon Snail Recovery Gel to my skin. It contains 80% snail secretion filtrate. It is a clear gel that absorbs into my skin easily and it doesn't feel sticky. It has a pleasant scent. I have been using it for almost a week and it has improved my PIH...but my popped zit looks a bit inflamed. It has softened the fine lines under my eyes, hydrated and made the skin appear brighter. Snail mucus and snail filtrate are majorly hyped ingredients in skin care industry specially for damaged skin. Here I am reviewing Mizon snail recovery gel to test this fact. It claims its a gel cream with snail mucus filtrate that revitalizes skin. 🤗 Here are my thoughts 💭 .. 🔸 Hygenic tube packaging 🔸 No fragrance 🔸 Gel type consistency 🔸 Absorbs quickly 🔸 Slight tacky feeling upon application 🔸 Contains snail filtrate, centella asiatica, lotus extract, peptides, silicones, olive oil, sunflower oil I liked sweet and simple packaging. have combo skin so it felt light weight onto my skin. It did not reduce acne breakouts or fade acbe scars. Also this didn't cause any breakouts. It might be less in moisture for dry skin. Overall nice lightweight snail gel for maintaining the skin. I was pleased to finally try a snail gel Cream! I've been intrigued by this concept for a while. It arrived and the pink packaging with the snail is really cute. I applied it to my arm right away to test consistency. It's a thin watery gel but not runny or sticky. It has a pleasant scent too. It's cool on the skin and once you start to rub it in it liquifies and absorbs quickly into the skin. Once dried down the skin feels soft, almost powdery, but not dry. It's just so soft and smooth its a powdery silkiness. I've used it on my face now and I like the hydration. I'm definately keeping this in my skin regime to watch for long term results.
