I was skeptical as to what they meant by “horse oil”, being naive enough to think it was perhaps an oil given to horses - no, it is derived from horses. This mask claims to be cruelty free after some research but I still don’t feel 100% comfortable. Regardless of what it’s made from, this isn’t a mask for me. I did like that it was cut into two piece to give you the best fit, I didn’t like that it was slimy and didn’t stay put on my face. It also have me tiny white heads all over my chin and jawline. Here is my review for the Guerisson 24k gold luxury therapy mask. I was really hoping since this was a 2 piece mask that it would have a better fit. The upper half is so much bigger than the lower part. You can see how much extra I have past my forehead but then the lower part barely covers my chin. I also didn't like that there wasn't very much essence in this mask. It was pretty dry when putting it on and just continued to feel that way. I guess it absorbs well because there isn't much to absorb. I also didn't notice a change in my skin after use.

Sheet mask time: We have a two piece hydrogel mask with a bunch of papers between it in the package. Somewhat fussy to get on, but fit was okay. The bottom half fits wonderful while the top half is too big for my forehead and the eyeholes were irritating. This mask claims to moisturize and soften skin as well as combat signs of aging. I think this mask does a nice job of hydrating and left my skin somewhat plump looking, but it also left a sticky finish I don't love. Unfortunately this mask had a pretty strong scent for me that lingered the whole time I used it. 🔷Guerisson's 9 Complex Horse Oil Mask . This is a two piece hydrogel mask. A few posts ago I mentioned I'm not too keen with two piece hydrogel masks because they tend to slip around and not adhere well but this mask stayed put! I assume it's because it's thinner than any other two piece masks I've used so it allowed it to adhere better. . The mask comes sandwiched between a white brand printed plastic sheet and a clear plastic sheet. It has a super subtle fresh scent to it and has a clear and watery essence. It claims to refresh, nourish and restore elasticity to your skin with the formulation of German horse oil. . I wore the mask for 20 minutes. I absolutely loved the results!! My skin was left incredibly soft! I kept rubbing my skin because I was so amazed at how soft it was haha. My skin was also very hydrated. The essence did dry down a little tacky so definitely use it as a night mask. I will for sure purchase this over and over again. . The face mask was a bit small when it comes to how it fits. It kept getting the essence in my eye and part of my lip was covered. When I first opened the package, everything was slipping and sliding, making it hard to separate and the application of it was also hard. The scent is more like a perfume but bearable. After removing it, my skin absorbed what was left pretty fast but it left a gel like residue in a few spots. Over all, it was a different experience.

 Guerisson is well known for their products that feature horse oil. This hydrogel masks star ingredients include horse oil (from Germany) and 24k gold. The gold has anti-aging properties, while the horse oil provides hydration. If you’re concerned with elasticity and dryness, then this mask may be right up your alley. . The gold translucent hydrogel comes with a mesh backing making it easier to apply to your face. Out of the packet, I was able to detect a floral/fruity fragrance that I liked. When i first put the mask on, it had a cooling effect and felt nice against the skin. Usually hydrogels slide down my face unless I’m lying down, but with the Guerisson mask I was able to get some chores done and walk around without it slipping down my face. It fit well and I could have smoothed out the air bubbles easily. .
 OVERALL RATING: 7/10 stars. A solid hydrating hydrogel that actually stays in place while you move around (unbelievable right?! haha) It definitely feels luxurious - from the foil detailing on the packaging to the gold tint of the mask itself. I’d recommend this mask if you’re looking for a special occasion mask that provides some basic hydration.

First, can we talk about how luxe these products look? Considering how nice the packaging is and the materials/ingredients used for these products I was surprised to find out that the cream costs less than $15 and a set of masks cost less than $19 for a pack of 6(available on Amazon). @guerrison9complex star ingredient in their products is 🐴Horse Oil imported from Germany, which made me a bit hesitant to try these because: 1. I have never used a product containing Horse Oil or as far as I know, any animal derived oil for that matter, so I was concerned about how my skin would react to it 2. Because of the Horse Oil I was worried it would smell weird, but I pleasantly surprised that the masks smelled lightly citrusy. This is my first time using a hydrogel mask and while I did like the feel of it, I found it to be a little bit slippery and not as drenched in serum as the masks I usually use. I did like that the mask was in 2 pieces, making it easier to fit to my face shape. WRP? Maybe, but at the moment I have enough sheet masks on rotation. So... Im an iridescent alien now and Ive never been happier. Or... I bought this awesome 6pk of @guerrison9complex horse oil hydrogen gold masks for $3.99 from @0.8l_usa - ok that's the actual truth of the matter. They're still cool. This mask is one of the most fun and interesting masks I've tried. It's a 2 piece gel sheet that has a thin essence on it and a clear printed backing. It claims to moisturize, refresh, calm, tighten, and tone skin while restoring elasticity. The gel mask is a little tricky to put on without a mirror because it has a tendency to stick to itself but it also adheres to the skin really easily. It also leaves a lot of essence in the packaging, but i just slapped it on top as patches dried. The instructions aren't in English so I just left it on half an hour, which seemed perfect. In that 30 minutes, my skin absorbed every bit from the mask and package and the mask removed very easily. The mask has an immediate cooling effect due to the gel material and that was perfect, my skin hasn't loved the recent weather changes. After removal, my pores looked microscopic, just flawless! My face felt relaxed, moist, supple and clear. This may be my absolute favorite mask. The luxury packaging absolutely adds to the pampering experience. I paid $3.99 @0.8l_usa for the opportunity to test the Guerisson 9-Complex Horse 🐴🐎Oil Hydrogel Mask. My thoughts are below: *The mask is a light gold colored hydrogel which comes in two pieces which is covered with plastic backing to protect the product * The aroma is not oily or "animal-like" at all which was my fear with using any product which has horse oil as the star ingredient. The fragrance is a light floral scent which disappears quickly. * The fit was fine and covered most of my face. I have a very high forehead so very few masks give me full coverage. * The adherence of the mask to my face was impressive. I was able to do yoga poses and the mask stayed on without moving 🙆👍. * I kept this mask on for 35 minutes and the results we immediate. I had a red irritated spot which completely recovered and my face stayed soft and plump through the next afternoon. * Super pleased with the Guerisson 9-Complex Horse 🐴🐎Oil Hydrogel Mask which is conveniently available via Amazon prime.

This 2 piece iridescent hydrogel has a clean perfume scent that you can smell when placing on the face and a little bit while masking initially. The fit was a little big on the nose but okay everywhere else. It stayed in place for the most part, except for the upper lip area. This was a comfortable mask and did not causing any discomfort, especially on a growing bump on my chin. 😂 ✨ Effects: I was pleasantly surprised how nice my skin looked after. Complexion was brightened and evened out. Skin also felt super smooth. 👍👍 ✨ This was purchased through at a discounted price for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own.

This is the best face mask for oily skin! I have combination skin and sometimes other products over moisturize my face and make it greasy at all. After using it my skin felt tight and with no residue but not dry or itchy. I like the material way better than normal sheet masks because it stays on nicely. My face is very small and no mask ever fits me well but this one came pretty close. For people with dry skin I suggest they try a moisturizer after using it. The packaging is perfect and it had no harsh smell. One thing I hate about sheet masks is how the package is always filled with dripping liquid that goes on everywhere when you open it but that didn’t happen with this one it was totally clean and mess free!

This luxurious, golden hued hydrogel mask comes in two pieces, to cover the upper & lower halves of the face, & each piece was sandwiched between two plastic backings for easier removal & application. The mask fit my face well although the initial application was a bit tricky due to the mask being so slippery but once it was on my face it adhered nicely without any slipping. The essence was clear & watery, with a silky feel to it, & there was about 1/2 palmful left over in the envelope. 🐴 One of the many things I love about kbeauty is the use of uncommon & interesting ingredients in Asian skincare products which is why I was so excited to try the Guerisson 9 Complex Horse Oil Hydrogel Gold Mask. Horse oil (imported from Germany) is rich in unsaturated fatty acids & is similarly structured to human sebum which allows it to penetrate the skin more effectively. Horse oil also protects the moisture content in the keratinous layer of the skin & strengthens skin’s natural barrier. This mask also contains 24K gold which can slow down the depletion of collagen in the skin to prevent premature aging & the formation of fine lines & wrinkles. 24K gold brightens the complexion & improves blood circulation which increases skin's elasticity & firmness. Since my skin type is dry/mature the benefits of the added horse oil & 24K gold in this mask really appealed to me. 🐴 I wore the mask for about 40 minutes &, after peeling it off my face, my skin appeared somewhat matte but it definitely was not dry. Although this mask sufficiently hydrated my skin I still went ahead & patted in some of the leftover essence since I prefer my skin to be dewy before applying a cream. All in all this mask really plumped up my skin, softened the appearance of fine lines & left my complexion noticeably brighter.
