These 3 handcrafted soaps are great! A bit small but it's only a sample. The (yellow) lemon + yuzu juice bar is known to be a great source of anti inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The (beige) citrus beer bar contains yuzu beer which helps it lather nicely and keep your skin moisturized. The (black) activated charcoal + tea tree bar helps remove toxics and has natural healing properties. All 4 bars smell nice and can help in various ways for your skin. Very happy to have made this purchase.

I was super excited to get & try this product (Yuzu Specialty Soap Set) and I must say I wasn’t disappointed the overall packaging is divine & the look and scents of the trio of soaps was pleasant...Each soap has its own different and unique scent and color....The Trio Soaps are Handcrafted Yellow Color=Lemon scent Beige Color= Citrus Beer Black Color= Activated Charcoal I loved each smell...I used all three for about a week straight...The lemon left my skin feeling & smelling invigorated....The Citrus Beer is more unique in smell & texture, it left my skin feeling & smelling squeaky clean & soft... My true favorite is the Activated Charcoal it also has a unique smell but its my fav because I always have breakouts on my skin from time to time & this soap cleared it up after 1 day of usage...It says to help clear up bodh toxins & I’m a believer.... I recommend this product!!!

The Yuzu Soap set came with 3 types of soap, lemon + real yuzu juice (yellow, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant), citrus beer (beige, moisturizing) and activated charcoal + tea tree (black, removes toxins). The yellow soap has a lovely lemon scent and is brightens the skin, the beige soap has a nice light scent with a citrusy twist and is moisturizing and the black soap doesn't have a really strong scent and is good for purifying the skin. Recommended use is to use like soap and work up into a lather and cleanse skin as normal. After using, I found that the yellow soap really brightened my skin, the beige soap was extremely moisturizing and the black soap is really great for targeting blemishes and removing redness from the skin. What I like: all the soaps smell nice and I haven't noticed any drying out of my skin or irritation. They don't leave behind any weird film that soaps can sometimes leave behind and the ingredients are really nice and the products are high quality and come in a nice gift box. What I don't like: this may be problematic for super sensitive skin so keep the ingredients and scent in mind. Rating: 8.5/10

These handcrafted soaps from @yuzusoap smell amazing!!! When I opened the brown box it shipped in I could already smell the delicious citrus scents even before opening the white box they were packaged in. Inside were 3 small bars that were about the size of a tic-tac container but a bit thicker. The black bar is activated charcoal and tea tree. The yellow bar is lemon and yuzu juice and Lastly, the white bar is citrus beer. The first bar I tried was the Citrus Beer(white) because it intrigued me the most. It lathered up well in the shower, but left me feeling a bit squeaky clean in spite the claim that it’s a moisturizing bar due to the hops. Not a big deal though because I always apply body lotion after I shower. All in all, I really liked the soap I tried and I look forward to trying the others. I got this YUZU Specialty Soap Set from @0.8L try now campaign at a discount price of $3.99. I love the packaging is so delicate and unique. This is definitely a great gift idea for any occasion or gift to yourself. I love pampering myself so this is perfect. The only problem I have is that I don’t want to use it too often because I don’t want to run out of them, they smell so good. My favorite one is the lemongrass one, I just love how it smells and it left my skin supper moist and clean . I would probably use it when congested too because of the benefits of the lemongrass. I totally recommend these soaps and can’t wait to try more soaps from YUZU. I love that they are hand crafted too.

Love these little mini soaps. The charcoal is my favorite, i can actually feel the exfoliation with that one. Next the Lemon leaves me feeling really refreshed and awake. Citrus beer is nice and cleamy feeling makes my skin feel like milk!!! Thanks for the try campaign

I hopped on the $3.99 Try Now feature on @0.8l_usa to grab this soap gift set from Yuzu Soap. It's a trio of soaps, each featuring different ingredients that are good for your skin. It did come beautifully packaged and the information card actually contained useful information and ingredient lists for each soap. I only used these soaps on my body. To ensure no irritation on my face, especially with the brutal cold here in NY, I decided to use each to only wash my body. As long as you spot test, these seem like they could be used on the face. That is a decision that's personal. I'm glad to just clean my body with them. The clear yellow bar is Yuzu and lemon. This one has the best scent and the scent is very strong. Good larger, cleaned my body well without leaving it stripped. The charcoal and tea tree soap was very effective in cleansing my skin as well and helped to clear a couple small pimples I had on my hip. However, this one did have a tendency to dry out my back and upper arms to the point where I needed to apply extra lotion. It dried my skin, but was effective in clearing problem areas. I think this soap would be helpful in the summer. The middle bar is Yuzu beer. The hops from the beer are meant to create a larger natural lather and help moisturize the skin. I really enjoyed the lather on this soap and I also loved the way my skin felt after each use as well. As a note, this soap also contains goat milk, which has always done well on my skin. This was the most nourishing soap and my favorite of the three. This set retails for $22. While I love the packaging and have enjoyed using the soaps, is never pay that much for this set. I do thank @0.8l_usa for the opportunity to try this new to me brand!

Yuzu soap came frozen. Granted it was very cold in my location, but better packagingwould have helped. As they thawed, the oils and moisture oozed out which made the bars sticky and tacky. The dark charcoal one smells absolutely horrible and actually made me sick to my stomach. I threw that one out. The middle white one was nice a smooth feeling and made my skin feel very moisturized. My skin did feel a bit tacky afterwards but that went away. The yellow translucent one smells incredible but has a very strange silicone type feeling to it. It made my skin feel slippery but only until I dried off. The packaging is very pretty but not exactly practical. I’d buy these again if I could choose the scent/type.

My experience with the @yuzusoap i received from has been good so far. These soaps are handmade from some great natural ingredients and essential oils Lemon + Real Yuzu (Yellow) Citrus Beer (Beige) Activated Charcoal + Tea Tree (Black) These soaps are highly scented and because the skin on face is super sensitive, I chose to use them on my body. The Lemon +Real Yuzu bar smells amazing and lathers great. Didn't irritate my skin at all. My skin is really soft and smooth. This is my second favorite of the soaps. I have not tried the Citrus Beer bar, but my husband has. He said it was nothing special to him, but my husband don't really think any soap is special lol so I'm going to have to try it myself. The Activated Charcoal + Tea Tree is the first one I've tried. I do get breakouts on my chest and back and figured this one may help with that. Love love love, It has a really strong tea tree smell and I was afraid it was going to dry my skin out, but it didn't! I was left with soft skin and no irritation. Once rinsed off, the Tea Tree scent doesn't linger..glad of that. Only complaint about it is that it's stained my washcloth black. I'm okay with that because I like this bar so much! These soaps smells divine! I am in love with them, not only because of how clean the ingredients are, but the benefits of them as well! The soap bars lather up easily and leaves the skin squeaky clean, but doesn’t dry or irritate the skin at all. This is definitely a plus for me because it is the winter time right now and even my oily skin gets pretty dehydrated. I personally love all three bars. However, if I had to choose my favorite, it would have to be the lemon one. The scent is so clean and refreshing. The overall packaging is also super duper cute and perfect if you’re looking to gift this to someone. These have exceeded my expectations! The only thing I didn’t like about them is how small they were.

They all appear to be glycerin soaps and each one highlights special essential oils like hemp and tea tree to address different aspects of skin care. All of the soaps lathered up beautifully - a lovely rich lather that felt so soothing to my skin. Generally I have a hard time with foaming cleansers and particularly BAR SOAPS. I've burned my face many times trying to use charcoal soaps in the past but had no issues with these soaps. I could even use them with a Clarisonic brush which will tell me immediately if a cleanser is too harsh and these were fantastic and smelled so amazing!!!! As is typical for glycerin soaps, they rinsed off effortlessly, really a great experience. LOWDOWN: Total 👍!! For $22 for the set, I think they're a fantastic value for such a high quality handcrafted product. The ingredient list is impressive, containing time tested and proven ingredients. This three bar specialty soap set was sent to me from Yuzu Soap and 0.8L in exchange for my honest review. It arrives in a pretty gift box that would be perfect as a small present. Inside the beautiful box are three bars of handcrafted soap made by the Yuzu Soap Company in San Francisco, California, USA. My first impression after opening the box was the strong fragrance of lemon. I am not overly sensitive to smell, but this scent is very strong and would bother many people. The first soap is a clear golden yellow color and it is their “Lemon + Real Yuzu Juice”soap. Other than the fragrance drawback it is a mild moisturizing soap. The beige soap is called “Citrus Beer”. It is reported to be made with real Yuzu beer. I like how It produces a nice lather and is also Moisturizing. The third soap is called “Activated charcoal + Tea Tree” and it is an opaque black bar. It is reported to have the positive properties of activated charcoal in helping to remove toxins. My experience with the soaps were that they were nice to have beside the sink as a decorative hand soap. I did not notice any marked improvement in my skin or any negative irritation. The only negative factor that I found was the strong lemon fragrance.

Yuzu Soaps are an indie brand from San Fransciso and they make beautiful organic, eco-friendly soaps and bath products, only using quality ingredients such as plant based oils, clays and aloe ~ and they make them in small batches, so that they are freshly made! This specialty set features 3 brand new soaps from Yuzu ~ Activated Charcoal + Tea Tree (black) will help detox your skin, while heal it and is made with charcoal, tea tree, hemp oil, and bentonite clay. This has a nice bracing scent of tea tree ~ I have been using this as a facial soap and I like to leave it on my skin for a few minutes for an extra purifying effect. . The creamy white soap is Citrus Beer ~ made with goat's milk, yuzu BEER, oat protein and lots of saponified oils, this soap is really has some lather and is quite moisturizing. This is due to the amino acids in the hops! This has a light citrus scent and is very creamy ~ I've been using this as a body soap and it is very moisturizing. The autumn yellow glycerin soap is Lemon + Real Yuzu Juice ~ Yuzu juice is an anti-inflammatory and has brightening properties. This also has vitamin-rich hemp seed oil, full of essential fatty acids and will help soothe, calm and moisturize your skin. This really has a lemon/citrus scent and it really wakes me up in the morning! I use this on my face as well. These soaps are handcrafted and as such, they do have a higher pH level of around an 8 to 9. I have no issues using a higher pH and also, these are produced via the saponification process (all of them have saponified oils). The higher pH level doesn't mean that it automatically is harsh and stripping. I am not an expert, but I have researched and used cold processed and handcrafted soaps for years, and what makes a high pH soap harsh is something called “free alkali”, which is a leftover alkali solution that was used during the saponification process ~ excess alkaline that didn’t get removed after the soap making process. Mass manufactured soap has this problem, but quality handcrafted soaps do not. None of these soaps make my skin feel dry or stripped! That said, YMMV and always listen to your skin's own needs!! If you can use higher pH soaps, check out Yuzu Soap ~ really lovely scents and bath product there.

I love secented soap and was thrilled when it arrived. Yuzu soaps are all made with plant based oils too, essential oils too! You automatically smell Lemon when taking the box out and unwrapping it. The citrus soap smells so good too upon opening the box. The benefits are as follows for each soap: Lemon - made with essential oils - Yuzu juice is a anti-inflammatory - lots of antioxidants - Hemp seed oil is rich in fatty acids & vitamins A&E Citrus - fragrance is from tangy citrus oils - real Yuzu beer for extra lather & moisturization properties - hops is good for skin softening Charcoal - naturally scented with Tea Tree essential oils - helps remove toxins - Hemp seed oil is rich in fatty acids & Vitamin A&E When washing, the lemon soap lingers and smells so good. It really smells up the bathroom too when using it. The citrus one is the same way. My hands felt so soft after using it (all due to the hops in it). When using the Charcoal soap, it's different, due to it will get your sink a little dark when washing, but it washes away when rinsing your hands off. I love the tea tree smell of this soap (even tho the word charcoal makes you think it's not clean), but we know so many things are coming out with charcoal for cleaning purposes. I'm amazed with soap having essential oils in it and highly recommend buying it.

I received it very quickly, even during the holiday season. There is basically a soap for any specific issue that you may have with your skin. The first soap contains some notable ingredients of lemon, yuzu juice, olive oil, hemp seed oil, palm coconut and safflower, oat protein and essential oils. This soap is especially useful for anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, it absolutely helped to calm my inflammation associated with acne, redness, irritation from dryness and not to mention smells heavenly. The second soap in the gift set contains some notable ingredients of citrus beer, goat's milk, palm and safflower, yuzu beer, oat protein, and essential oils. This soap is absolutely perfect for dry skin! During the winter my hands are always extremely dry, cracked and bleeding. I have been washing my hands with only this soap since I have received it and they have gotten significantly better since I started using it! The last and final soap in the gift set contains some notable ingredients of activated charcoal, tea tree, saponified oils of olive, palm, coconut and safflower, hemp seed oil, oat protein and bentonite clay. This soap has been amazing for keeping my oily complexion matte, blemishes minimal, pores smaller, and less new break outs all together. I am absolutely loving this entire gift set of this trio of soaps and I don't think I know anyone that couldn't use every soap in this set and love them.
