How’s your skin barrier doing? I tend to over exfoliate and when I do, I reach for products that help protect and restore my barrier like the @realbarrier Extreme Cream. . I didn’t understand and why I was suddenly starting to break out again and why for the first time in my life I was getting cystic acne. When I didn’t bother much with my skin it was always perfectly clear. Here I was treating my skin better than ever and I kept breaking out. Finally I started hearing about the skin barrier and how it protects our skin from impurities. Remove that barrier and you have no protection, hence the breaking out. Wow!. . It was through 0.8L that I was able to try some @realbarrier products and was amazed at how much they helped. Unfortunately, sometimes I am reactive instead of proactive, but more and more I am seeking out products that are intended for the purpose of protecting my skin barrier and what a difference they have made for me! This time they have sent over their Extreme Cream. It has a thick creamy texture that amazingly glides on and smoothes in easily with no greasy residue or drag. It has the usual hint of lavender that I find calming and pleasant. . If you live where the weathers is extreme, this is definitely the product for you. More importantly, if you tend to breakout a lot and don’t know why, check out their full line of products. The mist (pictured) is one of my favorites and I’ve repurchased it a few times now. This cold weather has really taken a toll on my skin. It’s been super dry and flakey. I have been using Real Barrier’s Extreme Cream to help keep my skin moisturized. Even though this is for the face, I’ve used it on a few of my eczema spots on my shoulders and it really helped those too. . . . . It has a very faint scent. It contains hyaluronic acid and dual ceramides which I enjoy so much for my skin. This cream provides 72 hours of moisture. It’s formulated specifically for dry and sensitive skin. All of these are a total plus in my book! Also included with this cream is a cute little spatula to get the product out of the jar. . . . This is a thicker cream so I recommend using in the evening before bed. Trust me, you’ll wake up with nice, hydrated and smooth skin in the morning. . . . Scent-wise, it's nice and light and I LOVE the texture! This cream is specially formulated for dry, sensitive skin. It's meant to strengthen the weakened skin barrier with the MLE skin formula. It contains dual ceramides and it's meant to keep skin moist for 72 hours. The blend of panthenol, madecassoside, allatoin are meant to effectively soothe sensitive skin. Idealift, which is a skin firmness-boosting compound, is meant to firm sagging skin and restore elasticity. Leaves the skim smooth and silky-soft without leaving a sticky or greasy feel. I thought that this cream did a great job of moisturizing my skin and it absorbed into my skin easily as well. Also, I didn't notice any scent to it. I received Real Barrier Extreme Cream for free in exchange for my honest review. Works great if you have extremely dry skin. It is a thick cream that is easy to apply. Went on smoothly without leaving my feeling greasy. My face definitely felt more hydrated after use. I also tried on some dry cracked spots that I have on my feet and it really helped. I would recommend the product.

What I love about this moisturizer is that it contains creamides and hyaluronic acid to help keep your skin well hydrated especially dry winter skin. It is formulated with a three calming complex that consists of panthenol, madecassoside and allantoin to help soothe irritated skin while repairing and strengthening your skin’s barrier. It has a very faint herbal scent but the texture is super rich and it just melts into the skin . I love that they included a tiny spatula to get the product out to prevent contamination which I love I wish more brands would do that. Atopalm Real Barrier Extreme Cream 💧Claims: helps moisturize skin deep without leaving a sticky or greasy feeling. It will support and fortify weak skin barrier. 💧Key ingredients: panthenol, madecassoside and allantoin that help soothe skin and MLE that recreates the cross structure found inside healthy skin with patented ceramide complex. 💧Texture: light weight cream that dries matte without stickiness. 💧Results: first of all the cream is rich, looks very thick but is so smooth and lightweight. I have been using it day and night, goes well with makeup for someone that has visible pores and combination skin. I really dislike creams that are thick and greasy, but this one goes on smooth, dries matte but very hydrating. During the day my skin feels plump, not tight and under makeup my skin doesn’t look or feel greasy  but hydrated. Overall is a 5/5, Atopalm never disappoints.

This moisturizer is a very gentle yet hydrating moisturizer that soaks very well into the skin. I decided to try it out once I checked the ingredients and saw that there were no skin-irritating ingredients in the product. I have dry and sensitive skin and this is a perfect night-time moisturizer as well as a good day-time moisturizer. For the day-time, I apply a different cream and then apply this on top and my skin is free from dry patches for the entire day!

The Real Barrier extreme cream is a really thick moisturizer - think like Greek yogurt or even cream cheese like consistency. It comes with a scoop to help get the product out of the jar. But it does a great job at moisturizing dry skin, especially in the Winter time, when skin tends to be even drier due to constant heat. Since it is really thick, I would say this is more suitable to use in the evening. I’ve been using it daily for the past week and my skin feels better, less dry and more hydrated.

If you are looking for extra hydration during these cold months, this cream is definitely for you. Real Barrier Extreme Cream has helped with dry and sensitive skin. I have eczema so my skin is VERY sensitive at times so I have to be careful with products. I love the texture. It is thick and very moisturizing. I hardly notice a scent ( if there is one) so that is a plus for me. I love the packaging. It is easy to open and store. The scooper makes it easy to get the product out so you do not over use. You can get out just the right amount. I can honestly say this is a cream I will purchase for the future. It has helped my skin so much.

Texture Tuesday and Review Time! I received this @atopalmusa Real Barrier Extreme Cream in exchange for my honest review from @0.8l_usa. It has such a beautiful texture that I had to share. This cream is supposed to protect, strengthen, and moisturizer your skin barrier with patented, dual ceramides and Hyaluronic acid to bind water to the skin. It contains a blend of panthenol, madecasdoside, and allantoin to soothe and provide comfort to irritated skin while delivering deep hydration to the inner layers of the skin. I used this cream in the morning and evening as the last step in my skincare routine. I have combination-oily skin, so unfortunately it was too much hydration for my skin. For someone that has dry skin, I think this product would be perfect for them. I have read online that this cream can also be used as a moisture mask that you leave on for 15 minutes then remove, so I may try that for just the dry parts of my face. The answer to my winter skin blues. Real Barrier Extreme Cream! ⁣ ⁣ A thick cream formulated with dual ceramides and MLE to improve the skin barrier after two weeks of use. Active ingredients: Panthenol, Madecassoside, and Allantoin. ⁣ ⁣ I like it so far as a heavy winter moisturizer, and winter just hit my area hard. It leaves my skin soft and hydrated. So far I recommend this, but as with all skin care I need to use this longer to truly know for sure. It reminds me a lot of a cream I used to use from the drug store, but with far better ingredients.
