I am always ready for a moment to show off my 🍆🍆🍆 pencil case. Oh, and I should probably talk about this @bonajour_official 🍆🍆🍆 toner. Which isn't just an eggplant toner but also an acid toner 😍 which is always fantastic. . . . Before I begin, a little background on ze toner: 🍆 84.43% Eggplant extract which has real 'LUPEOL' which is an ingredient for anti-trouble 🍆 Salicylic Acid(0.5%) removes dead cells on skin and sebum in pores to make your skin soft and clean. 🍆 pH 5.5 toner provides optimal pH condition for skin - pH 5.5±0.5 Toner sets up pH balance of skin to initiate healthy skin care 🍆 Fragrance Free 🍆 Doesn't contain parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, silicone, petroleum, artificial fragrance, artificial colors, alcohol 🍆Not tested on animals 🐰 . . . Now this toner took like 3 months to get to me after it was sent to another part of the universe so I was quite happy to see it finally arrive since I think quite a few people have had the chance to give it a try. I like the light sweet scent and that it does seem to have that BHA drying effect while not completely dehydrating your skin like a stridex pad. It wasn't strong enough to do a BHA nose mask before I do a pore strip (helps to loosen the blackheads) but as an everyday kind of toner its pretty nice. . . . I would definitely add this to the pile of things @bonajour makes that I like and would recommend trying. I was really curious to see how this toner would work on my skin. I bought the Eggplant Daily BHA Toner by @bonajour_official for a trial fee of $3.99 from @0.8l_usa in exchange for my honest review. I never would have thought to add eggplant into my routing but this product contains eggplant extract and willow bark extract. Its claims: pH 5.5 toner, 84.43% eggplant extract, Salicylic Acid 0.5%. It is supposed to be moisturizing, soothing, exfoliating, and help with acne. It is extremely gentle, I do not feel any tingling or irritation, and after two weeks of use, I am pleasantly surprised and happy to see a reduction in skin texture. I used it in the mornings 4x a week and had no adverse affect. I can't say I felt like it moisturized my skin but it did not dry it out. It absorbed quickly without any left over tackiness. I am excited to keep this for my more gentle skincare days.

I'm especially loving Eggplant extract right now because of the studies I've read about it! In my other eggplant product review I wrote about a few tests I found while researching this ingredient & how scientist have found that eggplant extract contains something in its chemical structure that has been shown TO KILL MALIGNANT CANCER SKIN CELLS , WHILE LEAVING THE NORMAL ONES ALONE, not like EGF which is SHOWN TO CAUSE GOOD & BAD SKIN CELLS TO MULTIPLY-not good for someone who has skin cancer, but THIS specific product containing Eggplant is ok(more on EGF in my next review along with my research findings regarding EGF & skin cancer & why to watch out)! I recommend this product for sure & I will be purchasing more when I'm out! Right now I'm taking it slow with any products containing Salicylic acid in it! I am using a product containing Retinol in it & for me I have to be careful using Retinol & Salicylic acid together because of both their exfoliating properties(BHA) & using both at the same time will cause my skin to purge because of the extra exfoliation! So when using this product, I just have to make sure to use one product containing Retinol in the PM & this product containing Salicylic acid in the AM & my skins ok that way! If your skin's sensitive or not use to these products together just watch out about using them together!! Try using 1 in the morning & 1 in the evening until you can see how your skin reacts! I'm just going by what many dermatologists recommend if your going to use these products at the same time! Everyone's skin's different so while it may bother mine, it may be fine on yours, just test it out first as it MAY cause your skin to purge! I just wish it would of stated it had Salicylic acid in it on the front of the packaging instead on the side of the box in small print! But other than that, I'm loving this toner & so far it's doing its job & has definitely helped my products to absorb & work better because my skin is balanced to its proper pH level! The scent is not strong at all & the liquid is very thin & absorbs quickly into my skin! Anything containing Eggplant in it has been on my radar lately because of the skin benefits!!! This is my review for the Bonajour eggplant daily BHA Toner that I recived from @0.8l_usa for a trial fee in exchange for my honest opinion. This toner claims to help exfoliate dead cells and manage sebum secretion. Main ingredient is eggplant fruit extract 84.43% to be exact which contains real lupeol. Lupeol also known as an ingredient to help anti-trouble skin and will help give you clear and fine skin. My thoughts on this product I been using this toner for about a month now and I love it it's very gentle on my skin and hasn't gave me any skin problems. Also i have notice that my sebum has decreased quite a bit around my nose. When I run the toner in with a cotton pad I can see how much smoother and clean my face looks also so definitely helps remove dead skin cells. i also like that it doesn't leave a sticky or tacky feeling it absorbs nice into the skin and leaving my skin nice and hydrated. overall I been enjoying this toner and when I'm done with this one I will buy another and I would recccomed to anybody.

I have found my holy grail as far as toners go. The @Bonajour Daily BHA toner has replaced all others and has quickly become a favorite. Firstly, it's purple, and who doesn't love that? Then, we have all the benefits of the toner. I have oily skin, and this toner did a fabulous job of keeping the oil at bay. The reason being is that this contains 84.43% Eggplant extract which has real 'LUPEOL' contained inside. Yes, I said eggplant hence the purple color. Let me mention now, this has a pleasant scent and in no way smells of eggplant. The Lupeol has clinically proven benefits of clearing and refining skin. Other ingredients are Salicylic Acid(0.5%) which removes dead cells on skin and sebum in pores, pH 5.5, for optimal pH condition for skin. I applied after washing with a cotton ball and it absorbs quickly like water would. The website states that there is 0 oils in this toner and I believe it. There is sometimes a slight tingling, which I am sure comes from the salicylic acid. At any rate, it dries down incredibly fast. Since I began use, I have had zero acne, oil has been controlled and my pores are visibly smaller. The website states this is for all skintypes, but I would say in my opinion if you have sensitive or very dry skin, then this may be to much for you. But, for my skin, I sing it's praises. A little pricey at $38 a bottle, but luckily I received mine at a trial fee from @0.8L_usa in exchange for my review.

Amazing egg plant toner that smooths and clears my skin. It smells slightly sweet, dries fast and leaves my skin feeling refreshed without the burning like other toners. Very happy I got to try this for 0.8L.

I have a lot of sun damage from too many years on the beach & was amazed to see areas of textured & freckled skin rapidly repair itself to reveal smoother, clearer skin. Results plateaued after a couple months of twice daily usage but I couldn’t be more pleased. These areas had been fairly resistant to other treatments over the years so it was the first real progress I’d had in a long time. I continue to use this toner regularly and it inspired me to look further into other eggplant-based skincare products. It’s moderately priced at $13 for a 7.2oz bottle on Amazon. Bonajour has been one of my favorite brands so far and this toner hasn’t disappointed either. It has the same lavender fragrance as the night cream and is very light, refreshing, and clarifying. I would buy this just on the basis of its fragrance!

I just received this a few days ago and my review is due, so I won't be able to tell you my thoughts but my initial impressions are good. I've never used a product with eggplant and I'm excited to try this out!

[What it Claims] This product claims to tone, clarify pores, controls sebum, smooth out uneven skin tone and gently exfoliates.  This product has a pH level of 5.5 which claims to be suitable for daily usage and all skin types.  This product contains 84.43% of eggplant extract and the full ingredient list is not too shabby. . [Scent] It's faintly floral but fresh. Not offensive at all and I kind of like it despite the fact that it is scented.  . [My Thoughts] I was actually a little hesitant to try this product because the last eggplant based toner I tried gave me an reaction.  But after reading stellar review I had to give it a try.  I have been using this product as my very first step to skincare routine.  After cleansing my face, I used a generous amount of this toner to soak onto a cotton pad.  I gently swipe across my face.  It absorbs nicely.  It seemed to smoothed out my skin because my face felt soft to touch...I followed this step with additional layers of hydrating toners.   . I have only been testing this product for about a week or so but I am pretty impressed with the results.  I love how soft my skin felt after application and it really seem to absorb the rest of my skin care steps nicely.  Thankfully I did not have a negative reaction to this product so I will be using this product continuously.  I am looking forward to the results after prolong usage.  . There are just a handful of brands that I always jump at the opportunity to test whenever new products become available through @0.8l_usa . The Bonajour Company has quickly become one of those favorite brands that I love & can not wait to try most any product they offer. Here are a few of the reasons why I’ve grown to love the Bonajour brand and their products:They do not test on animals, which is a huge, HUGE must for me! It is my belief that NO animal should be made to suffer through often extremely horrific testing procedures - just so I can have Waterproof Mascara or whatever beauty related product it may be. So, I am extremely grateful to companies like🙏🏼 Bonajour that refuse to experiment on animals in the creation of their goods. Additionally, not only does Bonajour refuses to test on animals, but they are also a company that makes an active choice to not use harsh & harmful, often toxic chemicals in their products, unlike many MANY other brands, unfortunately. On to my review, my most recent Bonajour product to test was their Eggplant BHA Toner, which is said to wash away impurities, dead skin cells, and sebum with a pH of 5.5 (<—— which is great! Not too acidic). I wasn’t certain what BHA was when I received this product, which I did purchase at an incredible discount thanks to @0.8l_usa for testing purposes. So, I wanted to do some research about BHA before using the toner, and I found that “BHA works on skin’s surface AND INSIDE the pore; it’s oil soluble, so it’s most often preferred for normal to oily skin prone to bumps, clogs, blemishes, and enlarged pores. BHA also has natural skin-calming properties, so it’s gentle enough for sensitive skin prone to redness and/or rosacea.” I found the toner to be mild, perhaps slightly moderately gentle to my skin. Realizing of course that the BHA is suppose to act as an exfoliation toner, I was completely expect it to sting my skin the first time I used it, because I had just used a fine granular exfoliating scrub on my face just prior to applying this toner. However, I was surprised that I felt only the slightest burn type sensation, despite the fact that my skin was a little more raw and that the toner did have a slight astringent type scent to it upon initial use. After using the toner about 5 additional nights & abstaining from any harsh exfoliating before use, I found that the addition of this toner has given my skin a really deeply clean feel. I also feel that because the toner is also designed to clean or exfoliate my pores at a deeper level, it seems that all of my lush rich moisturizers, especially the ones I apply at nighttime - seem to be working SO much better. It is as if the toner has added a newer cell level clean, which allows the products that follow to work at their best too! Thank you to both companies @0.8l_usa and @bonajour !!!! PS Full disclosure: I positioned a light to shine through the base of the bottle of toner, because the pretty purple color of the Eggplant toner was getting lost with regular lighting. much better than my other toner, doesn't have an alchohol smell and moisturizes my skin better. absorbs easily. wish the bottle was bigger since without the discount it can be pricey.

The Bonajour Eggplant Daily BHA Toner is a toner that has eggplant extract and white willow Bark extract. There is 84.43% eggplant extract which contains an ingredient called 'LUPEOL'. This special ingredient is supposed to help give you clear skin while the PH 5.5 is supposed to wash away impurities, dead skin cells, and sebum. It's also great for fighting acne since it contains salicylic acid. This product is fragrant free, although it does have a slight herbal scent due to all its natural ingredients. It's also free of toxic chemicals and parabens. To use, simply pour some out onto your hands and tap gently onto your skin to absorb. You can also use it with a cotton pad to wipe out impurities and help absorb other products more effectively. I've tried both ways and found that using it with a cotton pad was more effective for me. I didn't have any issues with this product. I love that it has natural ingredients and can be used morning or night. It doesn't dry out my skin and is soothing. Overall, it was a winner for me. Would I purchase in the future? Yes! 😄

I really don’t like doing this, but it’s the only way to not get a warning or get suspended when I have other reviews to post too. Not sure why so many people are getting “unsuccessful delivery” but a lot of us haven’t received the item. Hopefully this will resolve soon. For now, here’s a lovely picture of the timer.

I meant it’s purple, there’s a magical feeling it gonna work :3 . 🌿 First of all, I have a hilarious problem with the shipping process, some how they messed up my zip code and it ended up going back and forth between 2 places for about 6 times before it arrives. Anyway, still have enough time to test this out. . 🌿 It claims to be moisturizing, exfoliating, anti-acne and perfectly suitable for my oily troubles skin. Contains 84% Eggplant extract and 0.5% Salicylic Acid helps clear away any dead skin cells, impurities and sebum (which is a plus for me). . 🌿 I usually use this in my morning routine, if I want an intense exfoliation, I would use a cotton pad, otherwise, I’ll just dap the product into my skin, allowing a milder exfoliation. It does has a light fragrant to it, I’m not sure if it’s eggplant because I don’t know how eggplant smell like 😂 . 🌿 Sink nicely and quickly into my skin due to it watery texture. My skin definitely looks clearer and softer after a few uses, I really enjoy using this product.
