I really liked this Bha toner, it has a faint smell, my skin feels soft and good after I use it, I incorporated into my skin routine before my exfoliator, it has worked good. It absorbs very good on to the skin.

This is not the strongest exfoliant I have in a toner. It’s at a ph of 5.5. What makes this an exfoliating toner? The BHA - beta hydroxy acid - salicylic acid - is an exfoliant. It helps to removes dead skin cells and impurities from the skin. It’s so important to do this to your face at least a few times a week. This toner also contains lots of eggplant extract and white willow bark extract, both being great for your skin. Using a toner with an acid, (or any type of skin care containing acid) will help to maintain a healthier complexion and a youthful glow to your skin. When using any type of acid you should always read and educate yourself on how to use. I won’t go into detail but there can be a wrong way to use any type of acid. Toners are the first step to your routine after cleansing and it’s prob one of the most important because your preparing your skin for absorption. You can also use a toner without an acid and that’s something I do all the time. But if you are applying any type of skin care after washing your face toner should be something you always do. This toner is free of artificial fragrance, free of toxic chemicals, free of parabens, silicone, artificial colors, and alcohol!!!! I love this, the more natural the better! But this is also why I love BONAJOUR! This company is also cruelty free. I love this toner, I would recommend and I would recommend repurchase! You'd never guess from my feed, but purple is my favorite color! 💜💜 By chance, this is the second Eggplant Toner I've tested out in the past month! I'll likely do a write up and compare the two directly in a future blog post! For the time being- this toner is aimed at exfoliating and refreshing the skin, both of which claims I agree upon. The texture is light and watery, and the finish is mild and non-drying, but not particularly hydrating either. Just nice and fresh. With continued usage, I noticed that it did contribute to exfoliating my skin. It was never directly irritating, I just noticed that I needed to cut back slightly on my normal chemical exfoliators when I was also using this. I’m having bad luck with not receiving my packages from Korea these days. 😡 . My Bonajour BHA Toner is being returned to Korea 😿USPS says the address was wrong, so even though it made it all the way to my hometown, they decided to ship it back 😩. It left the US though Chicago couple of days ago. . I'm usually on top of these tracking/packages/situation, as my local post office has the worst reputation ever for lazy, slacker employees and missing/lost/delayed/stolen packages. (The other day, I was reading some Google reviews on my local post office location and people are so annoyed, they want to burn the building down and close down our branch! 🤣) Anyway, I try to do everything I can do to receive my packages, but this one was too late to intercept as the tracking status abruptly went from "In transit" to "Departed Chicago International Distribution Center." . What I like: this product is hydrating and light and soothing to use. It has great beneficial ingredients and it’s also pH balanced which is great. The packaging is sturdy and I don’t have to worry that’s going to spill everywhere. It draws out impurities and works to make skin look better.

I have been using this toner recently and i really like it. I chose to try it at the very first place because it has BHA (salicylic acid) to deal with acne problems and also lightly exfoliate dead skin. Beside that, this toner also gives my skin hydration as known as brings my skin back to its ph level of 5.5 after being washed. Highly recommend oily or acne-prone skin to try this one!!!

Eggplant contains Lupeol which helps you clear your skin. BHA Beta Hydroxy Acid is used to clear clogged pores. BHA’s have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties along with salicylic acid in the toner this toner is perfect for acne prone skin and combo skin. I have used it for a about two weeks. It works well without being over drying. The color of the toner is pretty noticeable doing one of the ingredients being eggplant. In terms of how well it works I really notice that my skin texture is better.
