This handcrafted wash-off mask contains a plethora of natural ingredients, so much so that it looks good enough to eat. Heck, I don't even eat this well. Key ingredients: honey, kelp, matcha, bamboo exfoliant, and activated charcoal. Just like honey, this mask has a goopy consistency. But unlike honey, it is in a very deep shade of green. Within it suspends ultra-fine bits of sand-like particles, I'm guessing these are the bamboo exfoliants. With a spatula, I scooped some product out of the jar and smeared it haphazardly on parts of my face before spreading it out with my fingers. It is recommended to only use a very thin layer of product. It was tough to get a thin layer as the product is highly highly sticky. The process of spreading the product involved pulling and tugging at my skin. Patting the product on will only result in a stringy mess. This was when I accidentally tasted the product and I'm happy to report that it tasted earthy sweet, just like its scent. I let the mask sit for 40 mins, then splashed my face to wet the mask before lightly massaging it for a gentle exfoliating effect. My skin felt very smooth and baby soft. Hydration was minimal but it did not claim to do that anyway. I also noticed my skin giving off a subtle glow, thanks to the removal of dead skin cells. Pores looked smaller and my skin felt balanced. I followed up with my regular skincare. My skin looked great throughout the entire day! I'm loving how natural yet effective this mask is! This will be a great one for double masking (follow up with a hydrating sheet mask) or multi-masking (apply this only to selected areas).

It reminds me a lot Live Botanical Luna Mask but in more thick version. No dripping at all! Mask stays on my face all time without trying to leak over the neck and clothes. The smell is nice and light, very natural with some honey, medicinal herbs and seaweed notes. However then I wash it off the seaweed part becomes much more pronounced. Almost like on the beach! It doesn't spread well because of its thick texture, so I use slightly wet fingers or spatula to apply it evenly on my face and neck. Then leave the product for 30 or even 40 minutes (I love honey masks on my face for longer time!) and wash it off with very light massage movements. Fine bamboo powder and French clay helps to exfoliate skin surface in very gentle manner. . . 💠Results: voila! My skin is very smooth, even-toned, and all my redresses looks much more pale. I didn't notice any tightening effect but probably to get it I should use this mask much longer. Today I'm reviewing Lenus No57 Honey Kelp face mask in Rejuvinating type. It claims to be nourishing, toning skin tightening. It claims to contain a herb blend to gently detoxify skin. Lets start the review:. 🔸 Goopy honey like texture 🔸 Honey and green tea fragrance 🔸 No breakouts(Combo skin) 🔸 Contains honey, matcha, bladderwrack, green clay , bamboo extract, spirulina, charcoal, mix of various essential oils . Its a dark green color mask and easy to apply with a brush. I would not recommend to use hands as its really sticky. It did make my skin smooth and soft. Honey masks are good for dry winters to nourish my skin. Only one gripe its drippy and sticky and can be mess if not used in shower. You can see from my application demo photo it had started accumulating and dripping. You can tell Laura, aka @lenus_handcrafted_skincare, is a SERIOUS health nut, and I thank her blessed soul for being one because this mask is f***ing good I'm not even kidding please stop me now before I go on. @0.8l_usa, y'all need to connect me more to companies like this (not like a certain one [you know who I be talking about @beauty.andseoul.of.texas]). 1) Normally I start talking about the ingredients, but I'm not even going to this time. I respect, admire, love this Lenus so much because they do one thing that MANY companies don't do. They literally write out every ingredient that's in their product AND the benefits or use of each ingredient. ANDDDDD each ingredient is something that (I believe) everyone is familiar with. SO fabulous. SO first-rate. SO fantastic. It describes me perfectly lawl. 2) THE EFFECTS ARE UNREAL. I've tried these types of masks: honey, seaweed, wash off masks, overnight masks, and long term gauze masks. I'm not saying this is the holy grail, but it's pretty up there tbh. My face felt ridiculous plump and "rejuvenated" as per the mask's goal. And those itty bits of fine bamboo exfoliants (seriously so fine) at the end that you gently rub on your face makes your skin feeling so fine. I've felt smooth skin before, but I've never felt plump and smooth skin from just one product without ANY sort of irritation. 3) The smell is absolutely wonderful. It doesn't smell like skin care scented whatever bougie Prada spritz spritz. It jsut smells like Nature. I don't know how else to explain it. Not like pine or woodsy, but like... a mix of herbs and ocean and Captain Planet and honey all mixed in. And just as a quickie, yes I did taste it. No it did not taste like honey. No I would not recommend you to taste it either. All in all, I r8 this 8/8 m8. Since they're located in San Diego, CA, I definitely gotta make a trip down there to visit!

It’s extremely nourishing and once you wash it off your pores are minimized and you skin looks smooth and radiant. The smell is lovely, it smells just like honey and matcha, it’s very natural. I love that this mask is so great for oily skin. It literally wipes out any oil I have on my face, leaving it glowing but not shiny.

The glass jar feels really substantial and I appreciate that the mask is packaged in amber glass— with this many raw and natural ingredients it’s important to keep it shielded from light and in a container that won’t leech into the ingredients!! But enough about packaging. Here’s my experience using this mask: * the texture is grainy (from bamboo exfoliant and the kelp I assume) and very goopy. It is honey based so I expect the goopiness! * it’s a gorgeous deep greenish black color. I stirred it well to re-combine everything before applying to because when it sits for a while some of the kelp particles float to the top. * I used a little skin product spatula to apply it. It’s so sticky, if I used my hands I would have wasted a lot of product. * I let the mask sit for 30 mins, then massaged it in a bit for the exfoliating effect, then rinsed off with a warm washcloth. * my skin felt clean, energized and moisturized! * I think this mask would also be perfect for multi-masking. That’s probably how I will use it next time, using this mask on my cheeks and chin and a pore refining mask on nose and forehead.

The arrival of this product was surprising and alarming to me.  The product itself was wrapped in a thin foam (bubble wrap would be more secure), followed by multiple layers of brown paper.  Since this company is located in So. Cal, it didn’t have to travel far to reach me.  I would imagine the survival rate of the packaging won’t be high if it has to travel across the country!  LENUS please invest in a small box along with bubble wrap for shipment.  It’s ashamed to see this handmade product goes to waste.  It’ll be more costly than the investment of packaging!   When 08L was offering this product, I was pretty excited because it contains Kelp & Honey.  Kelp helps Detoxifying, Purifying, Omega 3 & DHA Rich, Anti-Aging while Honey helps with Anti-Inflammatory, Anti-Bacterial, Pore-Cleansing.  Besides these two main ingredients, this wash-off mask contains 23 other ingredients.  It’s a rather long list.   Upon opening the jar, I can smell the sweet honey with a mixture of kelp and other “green” ingredients.  It does not come with a spatula for scooping.  Initially, I use a spatula to scoop and then apply to my face but eventually find using a mask brush is less messy.  The product was very sticky.  Instructions asked to apply a thin layer over face and neck. It was quite difficult to apply a thin layer because of the stickiness.  I leave it on for the maximum time suggested of 40 minutes.  As I’m lounging around waiting for the 40 minutes to pass, the product keeps dripping on my chest and clothes.  I did not enjoy that!  After 40 minutes, I massage the product in circular motion to gently exfoliate.  It was struggle so I add a little bit of water.  Face feels tighter, pores look smaller, skin tone looks more even and brighter.   A 2 oz jar is available at the brand’s site shoplenus.com for $24.   Disclaimer:  I purchased this at a discounted price from @0.8l_usa in exchange for my honest review.

At first I thought I was not going to like #Lenuskelpandhoneymask cuz it was so sticki but after I rinsed my face in cold water my face was alive. It has a refresh smooth, moisturized I liked this product. I can't stop feeling my face. It is very sticki with a light scent of honey. It is amazing. I also received a sample of Lenus face cream and together it brought out a refresh smooth skin. I recommend. I was chosen to try for 3.99 for my honest opinion by #08l and I happy to have been chosen.

I love the scent. After applying a thin mask layer, waiting 30mins and massage, then cleaning my face, it left a fresh and smooth feeling. Since honey is a part of ingredients, it's a little bit sticky and struggle to open the lid.

This mask is loaded with awesome ingredients such as: raw honey, green tea matcha, spirulina, nettle powder, French green clay, bamboo exfoliant, white willow extract, aspen bark, etc. The seller also generously included a sample of the No. 10 face cream. . This dark green mask’s texture is a thick paste but easily spread with a little bit of water. I detect a nice herbal scent. The micro-exfoliation grains leaves my face smooth and soft without any irritation. . Yes, I highly recommend this mask with two thumbs up.

Following the directions I tried the No57 Honey Kelp Face Mask that comes in a jar with a screw off lid and a divider to keep the product in without leaking out. The texture is extremely thick and sticky with a natural honey herb smell, and is a dark green/brown in color. This Honey Kelp mask was extremely hard to spread on my face as it uses honey, and the next time I may try setting it in warm water before using it to loosen it up. I only applied this to my face foregoing my neck because I thought that might be a bit messy, and as this mask warms from body heat that was probably a good thing I didn't although, I loved how this mask warmed on my face and never felt cold or clammy at all. When I washed the mask off I could feel it exfoliating my skin, and yes it was hard to remove also, but with honey once again kinda understood. I used a toner after removal, and I'm glad I did because it did leave residue behind, but it also left my skin soft and glowing without drying it out. I would like to thank 0.8L and Lenus for making it possible for me to try this mask. I had no adverse reactions or breakouts while using this product and I would recommend it to anyone.
